With tensions rising in the Middle East and concerns growing over oil supply, many Americans are wondering what the latest developments mean for the economy — and financial expert Carol Roth may have some answers.“It’s difficult to have mobility in this economy right now, and it’s, you know, sort of a tough thing for everyday people to deal with,” BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere tells Roth, noting that recent developments in Iran are affecting not only the price of gas, but food prices.“How should we be thinking of this right now, Carol?” Stu asks.“So, I think that we should be thinking that we hope that there is a short end to this conflict both from a moral and human perspective as well as from an economic perspective,” Roth explains.“There’s a lot of uncertainty. There’s a lot of risk, and we don’t know what the duration is going to be. And so as that information comes out and then gets, you know, kind of extrapolated and increased by algorithmic trading and hedge funds, you see a lot of volatility, but we’ve seen that somewhat normalized,” she says.“The challenge is that, you know, a lot of the tampering of inflation … had a lot to do with the fact that oil had been in a very good and attractive place, particularly for consumers. Maybe not as much for producers, but at least for consumers,” she continues.Roth believes that in order to combat these issues for everyday Americans, the Trump administration needs to focus on things like small businesses.“I’d like to see more policies that remove barriers. If you remove barriers, particularly from small businesses, they are the biggest job creators and drivers. They’re also, by the way, the ones who are going to be least susceptible to AI changes,” Roth tells Stu.“And so, that would be a really good and easy thing to do,” she adds.Want more from Stu?To enjoy more of Stu’s lethal wit, wisdom, and mockery, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

‘The Last Person We Need Help From Is Zelensky’: Trump Torches Kiev Regime Leader, Calls Him ‘Difficult To Deal With’ and an Obstacle for Peace in Ukraine
Trump is repeatedly snubbing the offers of aid by Zelensky, calling on him to end his own war rather than help others.
Zelensky is on Trump’s bad side, and now the whole world knows it.
After Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky spent all of 2025 leaning on the support of Euro-Globalist leaders to stall the peace process in the Russia-Ukraine war, US President Donald J. Trump seemed to have lost all remaining esteem he may have had for him.
And it does no good for Zelensky to go out into the world pretending to be a nice friend to the US: during the start of the military operations in Iran, while the former comedian made supportive statements in the media, Trump called him a ‘P.T. Barnum’ who conned feeble Joe Biden out of billions.
While Zelensky is always on the Globalist media saying that he will help Gulf states and even the US with his ‘amazing anti-drone technologies’, Trump is repeatedly torching him, no longer concealing his true feelings for the ‘president’ whose mandate ended back in May 2024.

The last person we need help from is Zelensky.

During a phone interview with NBC News, Trump harshly criticized ‘Ze’.
The Independent reported:
“Speaking with Meet the Press anchor Kristen Welker on Saturday, the president knocked Zelensky for offering assistance to the U.S. and Middle Eastern countries, the latter of which the Ukrainian president said on Friday were seeking his aid in sharing drone detection technology.
The ‘last person we need help from is Zelensky’, Trump told Welker.”
Trump’s efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war were thwarthed by Zelensky and his Euro-Globalist partners.
The leftist bias from the UK’s Independent report is clearly stated, as they try to call for an end to the 2-week Iran war while simultaneously defending the continuation into the fifth year of the war in Ukraine. It also has the gall of saying that Trump wanted Zelensky’s help ‘to sabotage Joe Biden’s election in 2020’.
Such a load of crap.
“On Saturday, Trump told NBC News that Zelensky remained the obstacle preventing a peace deal from being reached between his country and Russia, which have been actively at war for four years.
[…] ‘I’m surprised that Zelensky doesn’t want to make a deal. Tell Zelensky to make a deal because Putin’s willing to make a deal’, Trump said, reiterating his long-stated belief that Russia’s Vladimir Putin is opposed to the war he started in Ukraine.”
‘Zelensky is far more difficult to make a deal with’, the U.S. president continued.”

NewsBusters Podcast: Jake Tapper Pretends All Reporters Love America
CNN host Jake Tapper claimed “Every reporter that I know wants the United States to succeed in every way.” But two London CNN bigwigs were photographed schmoozing with the Iranians at their embassy in London, and it didn’t look like they were there to ask tough questions at the anniversary party for Iran’s Islamo-fascist revolution.
NewsBusters associate editor Nick Fondacaro and senior research analyst Bill D’Agostino joined the show. Nick drew our attention to a photo from the British paper The Telegraph. It showed CNN’s London Bureau Chief and a London-based Mideast reporter talking to the Iranian ambassador at a party celebrating the Islamist revolution. No cameras or microphones or press badges. It looked like just schmoozing. CNN then claimed they were just doing journalism.
Nick found it super-fishy, considering the Iranians have allowed CNN into the country, unlike most Western media outlets. Imagine an outlet like The New York Times schmoozing at a Nazi anniversary party in 1942. It’s not a good look. It looks like consorting with the enemy. Naturally, CNN sees itself as a global news operation, not an American one.
Most national reporters that we observe are not rooting for America to win. They want Trump to fail in every way, and their reporting on this war has been overwhelmingly negative, as it is on everything else about Trump. But they love to pretend that being hyper-negative is being factual. Much of their reportage is projecting that it will inevitably become a failure if it isn’t one yet.
Democrats aren’t shy about saying they trust the Islamic tyrants in Tehran more than Team Trump. Former Obama aide and MS NOW contributor Ben Rhodes trashed Trump’s negotiator Steve Witkoff, who was “selling real estate like a year and a half ago,” while Iranian spokesman Abbas Araghchi “was a part of a government that could be tough negotiators. They could have shifting positions, but they actually kept their commitments…So this is a guy who knows what he’s talking about.”
Also: National “Public” Radio can NOT find the story of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji putting “Likes” on pages celebrating the October 7 massacre in Israel. But it CAN find stories where Mamdani is the victim of cruel Republican social media posts. GOP ‘Islamophobia’ is hot news, and Muslim Democrat antisemitism is not.
