Hilary Duff fires back at critics of her provocative lyrics, says she’s ‘not making music for 7-year-olds’
Hilary Duff fired back at critics who took issue with provocative lyrics in her latest song.Duff’s new song, “Roommates,” featured a lyric about porn and masturbation – shocking the “Lizzie McGuire” star’s fans. The former Disney Channel star said she was surprised by some of the reactions to the headline-making lyric, adding that the song was always intended to push buttons.”I think that probably my initial reaction was like, ‘Oh, they just haven’t like evolved yet.’ And I don’t care at all,” Duff said during an appearance on “Call Her Daddy.” “One of the craziest comments that I saw was like, ‘And do you do that in front of your children?'””And I was like, ‘No, what? Are you OK?’”HILARY DUFF CONFESSES TO THROWING HER HUSBAND’S PHONE DURING THEIR YEARLY ‘DRAG-OUT’ FIGHTDuff recalled some of the other criticism she received that said, “Do your kids sing that?””And I’m like, I’m not making music for my kids,” Duff, now 38, told host Alexandra Cooper. “I’m not making music for seven-year-olds. I’m making music for myself. I’m making music for people like myself.”According to Duff, the song was “meant to be polarizing,” not raunchy as some perceived online. “Like it’s a plea and like, I think that’s relatable to women,” she said.”I have never given head in the back of a dive bar, sadly,” she quipped. “There’s always time, you know.”LIKE WHAT YOU’RE READING? I need to get through this. I can’t keep feeling this way.'”Duff worked together with her husband, Matthew Koma, on her sixth studio album, “Luck… Or Something.” Koma, also 38, is known for his songwriting – specifically his songs “Clarity,” “Spectrum” and “Find You.””I wasn’t interested in making a record with anyone else,” Duff said during a recent conversation with Dakota Fanning for Interview magazine. “I was like, ‘It has to just be me and you.’ The most honest stuff came from that because he has a front row to my life and everything I’ve experienced, the really difficult times and the really easy good times that made me who I am.”CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTERDuff – who dominated the early 2000s with various roles on the Disney Channel – notoriously stepped away from the spotlight after her teen stardom. After releasing her album “Dignity” in 2007, Duff didn’t release another album until her 2015 project, “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” The “Cadet Kelly” star also shifted to indie film and TV work after welcoming her first child in 2012 with ex-husband Mike Comrie. She welcomed three more children with Koma and has spent the last several years leaning into motherhood before returning to reclaim her pop star status.
Obama Presidential Center to add autographed Muhammad Ali boxing gloves
Former President Barack Obama will be donating his pair of autographed Muhammad Ali boxing gloves to his presidential library. The Obama Foundation announced the donation in a statement on Wednesday. CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM”Ali’s story has been an inspiration for President Obama, who kept this gift of red Everlast boxing gloves inscribed by Ali on display in the White House throughout his presidency,” the organization said. “They were a reminder of a quality the President admired most in Ali: ‘his unique ability to summon extraordinary strength and courage in the face of adversity, to navigate the storm and never lose his way.’”PROTESTERS RAGED, CRITICS MOCKED — NOW OBAMA SAYS HIS LIBRARY’S ACTUALLY OPENINGFollowing Ali’s death in 2016, Obama honored him as a man who “fought for what was right” and helped shape modern America. However, Obama did not attend Ali’s funeral, due to a scheduling conflict.Obama’s Presidential Center has been the subject of controversy since its 2015 announcement. The challenges have included lawsuits over public land use, concerns regarding gentrification and community displacement on the South Side of Chicago, and recent criticism of its brutalist architectural design and illegible text on the 225-foot museum tower. A recent Fox News Digital investigation found taxpayers are footing the bill for surging public infrastructure costs required to support the project — and no government agency can provide an accounting of the total public cost, despite months of queries and FOIA requests. The Obama Foundation, which is funding the center’s construction, defended the project in a statement to Fox News Digital.”The Obama Foundation is investing $850 million in private funding to build the Obama Presidential Center and give back to the community that made the Obamas’ story possible,” said Emily Bittner, a spokesperson for the foundation. “After decades of underinvestment on the South Side of Chicago, the OPC is catalyzing investment, from both public and private sources, to build economic opportunity for residents through jobs, housing, and public spaces and amenities.”Fox News’ Michael Dorgan contributed to this report.Follow Fox News Digital’s sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
Huh? Kamala Harris Responds to Trump’s State of the Union: “Full of lies… Reminds Me of Our Kids Going to Show and Tell at School” (VIDEO)
Kamala Harris reacted to President Trump’s State of the Union Address on Wednesday, calling it “full of lies” and comparing it to a child’s show-and-tell.
During an interview with left-wing podcaster Aaron Parnas, Harris bizarrely said Trump’s speech reminded her of “kids going to show and tell at school.”
“It was nothing that was true about, really, how the American people right now, so many are suffering under the weight of high prices, unaffordable health care, and affordable housing,” Harris continued.
She further attacked the speech as “quite boring” and “the same old, same old,” adding that Trump was “lying about what he intends to do, what he has done, and the state of our economy and the state of the world.”
WATCH:
Parnas: I got to get your reaction to last night’s State of the Union address from the President of the United States. Did you watch it? What did you think?
Harris: I watched it um? It was full of lies. And you know, when he wasn’t lying, he was— it reminded me of our kids going to show and tell at school. Um. It was nothing that was true about, really, how the American people right now, so many are suffering under the weight of high prices, unaffordable health care, and affordable housing. And it was, you know, we’ve come to expect it. And, you know, some people have said it was really quite boring and that there was nothing very interesting about it cus it was the same old, same old. The guy, lying about what he intends to do, what he has done, and the state of our economy and the state of the world.
It will be recalled that during Biden’s last State of the Union address in March 2024, Biden walked out like a nursing home patient and didn’t even know where to go before he malfunctioned with his teleprompter.
He later botched the name of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley, who was savagely murdered by an illegal alien, then apologized for calling her killer an “illegal.”

WATCH: Ilhan Omar denies ever saying U.S. ‘should be more fearful of white men,’ despite it being on video!
Reporter Alison Steinberg and U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
A video clip of U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., saying Americans “should be more fearful of white men across our country” is getting renewed attention as the Minnesota Democrat is now denying she ever said it.
As WorldNetDaily reported, Omar’s original statement was: “I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.
“And so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”
This isn’t just sick; it’s actually genocidal language.
What a disgrace this person is. https://t.co/2PHdporJHM

Vice President JD Vance said the remark “isn’t just sick; it’s actually genocidal language.”
Now, Alison Steinberg, a reporter for LindellTV asked Omar about the comment as they walked through the U.S. Capitol, and Omar stated outright: “I never said that.”
“You’re on video saying that,” Steinberg replied.
“I did not,” Omar reiterated. “Again, this is like what I said. You need to prepare yourself because you can’t continue embarrassing yourself like this.”
“So, I’m just a liar?” wondered Steinberg.
“What I was quoting was a study done by the FBI,” Omar concluded.

Award-winning investigative journalist Lara Logan on Tuesday slammed Omar for her “hateful rhetoric.”
“I am sick to death of this hateful rhetoric. Sick to death of people being demonized for the color of their skin. My son will be a ‘white man’ one day & he does not deserve this. I don’t want anyone’s child demonized for the color of their skin.
“Ilhan Omar is a worthless thief & a liar. She can f*** off with her divisive politics which she is using now to cover up her crimes.”
As WorldNetDaily reported, President Donald Trump on Wednesday torched Omar and her fellow Democrat in Congress, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, for shouting at him during Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, suggesting they “be institutionalized.”
Trump posted on Truth Social: “When you watch Low IQ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as they screamed uncontrollably last night at the very elegant State of the Union, such an important and beautiful event, they had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, LUNATICS, mentally deranged and sick who, frankly, look like they should be institutionalized.
“When people can behave like that, and knowing that they are Crooked and Corrupt Politicians, so bad for our Country, we should send them back from where they came – as fast as possible. They can only damage the United States of America, they can do nothing to help it.”

No voice in my ear telling me it’ll be OK and what to do next. Just the gratitude for still being alive, and a newfound, sobering awareness of how everything actually is.”What did change was an immediate outlook on life that was simpler and more honest.”In 2015, Bosh was hospitalized after having a pulmonary embolism, or a blood clot in his lung. He had initially ignored the pain in his chest, believing it was just a rib injury. Tests proved otherwise. Then, in 2016, blood clots continued to form for Bosh, which caused him to fail his physicals with the Miami Heat, the team he spent six of his 13 years with. He eventually retired officially from the league in 2017. Now, after this health incident, Bosh said he is lucky to be alive, and he’s looking to take advantage of that moving forward. “The ordinary parts of life don’t feel meaningful until they’re taken away,” he said. “And by then, it’s too late.”Bosh broke into the league in 2003 as a 19-year-old with the Toronto Raptors, who chose him third overall out of Georgia Tech. He made five of his 11 All-Star teams with the Raptors, averaging 20.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game during his time there. But Bosh was well known as part of the “Big Three” with the Heat when he joined Dwyane Wade in South Beach before LeBron James famously took his talents to Miami as well. Ukraine’s Zelenskyy: Russia trying ‘to play’ game with Trump, stall peace talks
KYIV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russia is trying “to play with the president of the United States” in stalling U.S.-brokered efforts to end the war.In an interview with Fox News in Kyiv, Zelenskyy pushed back on suggestions from President Trump that Ukraine is the one holding up the peace process.”We always supported peace,” Zelenskyy said. “When you are at your home, in your house, on your territory, in your city, of course you want to stop it.” Instead, Zelenskyy charged that Russia is attempting to drag out discussions, to avoid making concessions. “They try to play with the president of the United States,” he said.ZELENSKYY ANNOUNCES NEXT ROUND OF TALKS WITH US, RUSSIA AS UKRAINE AIMS FOR ‘REAL AND DIGNIFIED END TO THE WARAsked by Fox News if he thinks Vladimir Putin is playing a game, Zelenskyy replied: “Yeah, I think so. Yeah. He needs to postpone any kind of negotiations.”Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready to freeze the conflict along its current lines, proposing a ceasefire to be followed by negotiations. But he said he would not accept a Russian demand for Ukraine to surrender territory the Russian army has not been able to capture in four years of fighting.Fox News spoke with Zelenskyy at his offices in Kyiv, a heavily guarded complex where the lights are dimmed and sandbags dot the corridors. They didn’t win, and for us it’s a victory. We defended our independence and freedom.”They didn’t change the country.
