Asian American Group Alleges Yale Continues To Engage In Affirmative Action Discrimination

May 11, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: Gateway Pundit, INVESTIGATIONS

According to The College Fix, “An Asian American coalition has filed a federal civil rights complaint against Yale University alleging discrimination using racial proxies during the 2023-2024 admission cycle.”

This accusation is despite the ruling from The Supreme Court that Colleges may not admit based on or discriminate based on race. Too many universities were engaging in discrimination against White and Asian students.

This specific complaint alleged that Yale continues to engage in discrimination against Asians in its admissions process.

This Asian coalition alleged Yale was trying to circumvent The Supreme Court ruling.

“In the complaint, the coalition asked the federal government to suspend funding to the university if Yale does not comply with the law and remove all race-based admission preferences and practices.”

Swan Lee a member of the coalitions Board of Directors alleged that Yale hasn’t responded to the organization in regards to what they allege.

“We hope that the government will investigate into Yale’s admission process and compel them to follow federal law, and to not use race as a factor for consideration in the process,” Lee said. “It’s unconstitutional and illegal to discriminate based on race.”

The Supreme Court Decision which outlawed this type of discrimination under the name of Affirmative Action was called Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard. It should have been common sense that a university should not engage in discrimination but apparently it wasn’t.

Many colleges reported an increase in Asian students however Yale did not. “Following the ruling, Asian student enrollment decreased about 20%, from 30% in 2023 to 24% in 2024, according to the complaint.”

At John Hopkins on the other hand Asian enrollment increased by 43 percent.

This coalition cited President Trumps “Dear Colleague letter as “encouragement to file the complaint.” It states “The law is clear: treating students differently on the basis of race to achieve nebulous goals such as diversity, racial balancing, social justice, or equity is illegal under controlling Supreme Court precedent”

Yale continuing to promote DEI and race based admissions is un-American and a disgrace. Apparently at Yale discrimination is ok as long as its against certain groups.

Discrimination against any race in an institution like Yale is wrong and goes against basic morality.
