A humanoid robot is now rallying tennis shots with a human in real time. It runs without a script or remote control, so it can react instantly on a tennis court. The robot stands about 4 feet tall, giving it a compact, human-like frame. Galbot Robotics released a video showing its robot going shot-for-shot with a human player. The system behind it is called LATENT and runs on the Unitree G1.And it is not just returning the ball. It is moving, adjusting and competing during live play.Sign up for my FREE CyberGuy ReportGet my best tech tips, urgent security alerts, and exclusive deals delivered straight to your inbox. They perform pre-programmed actions or rely on a remote control. This one operates differently. It reacts to a human opponent in real time, tracking fast-moving balls, shifting across the court and returning shots with surprising accuracy. It also adjusts to changing trajectories and unpredictable shots during rallies. Researchers say it can sustain long rallies with millisecond-level reactions and full-body coordination. That marks a major step forward.Training a robot to play tennis is extremely complex. Tennis involves:Capturing complete human gameplay data is difficult. So the researchers used a different method.Instead of recording full matches, they focused on small segments of movement:They gathered about five hours of motion data from five players. The sessions took place on a compact 10-by-16-foot court. That space is more than 17 times smaller than a standard tennis court.RESTAURANT ROBOT GOES HAYWIRE, SENDS TABLEWARE FLYING BEFORE BREAKING OUT IN DANCE MOVES How the robot plays tennis during live ralliesThe system first learns individual movements. Then it combines them into coordinated sequences. That allows the robot to:To improve performance, the team trained the model in simulation. They varied physical conditions such as mass, friction and aerodynamics. This helps the robot adapt to real-world unpredictability. As a result, the system responds dynamically instead of following a fixed routine. In testing, the system achieved up to 96% success on forehand shots in simulation. In real-world trials, the robot can sustain rallies with a human and consistently return the ball across the net.Watching the demo, it appears competitive. At times, the robot places shots away from the human player. That suggests more than a simple reaction. It points toward early forms of decision-making.There are still limits. The robot can look unstable at times. Its motion is not yet as fluid as a trained athlete. High or unpredictable shots may still present challenges. Even so, the progress is clear. Why this matters beyond tennisThis breakthrough goes far beyond tennis. It shows how robots can learn complex human skills without perfect data. The same approach could apply to:Any task that lacks complete motion data could benefit from this method. That is the bigger picture.WORLD’S FASTEST HUMANOID ROBOT RUNS 22 MPH The path forward is becoming clearer. Today, the robot rallies. Next, it competes. In time, robots could train with or challenge professional athletes. Exhibition matches between humans and machines may become part of the sport. Newsom’s wife says evangelicals are ‘pulling us back as a country’ in resurfaced clip
A resurfaced interview with Jennifer Siebel Newsom, wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, is drawing attention online after she said that evangelicals are “pulling us back as a country.”In a 2022 interview with journalist Elex Michaelson when he was working at a local Los Angeles station, Siebel Newsom discussed her documentary, “Fair Play.” It was inspired by Eve Rodsky’s book of the same name, which examines gender roles in the home.Siebel Newsom also discussed “redefining what pro-life is really about.” GOV NEWSOM AGREES WITH SHAPIRO THAT TRANS ISSUE IS ‘BARRIER’ FOR PEOPLE TO SUPPORT DEMOCRATIC PARTY”I appreciate that so many people, so many progressives, are leaning into redefining what pro-life is really about, and that’s what we’re doing in California,” Siebel Newsom said. “You know, pro-life is about prenatal care and universal preschool and universal after-school and universal healthcare and taking care of foster kids and feeding, you know, universal meals and childcare. Like, that’s pro-life. It’s not conception.”She then criticized what she described as people on the “far right,” saying that they are “pulling us back as a country.””They’re living in this silo, this evangelical, conservative silo that, ultimately, is just pulling us back as a country to a time and a place where we don’t deserve to be, and we’re not going to be,” Siebel Newsom said. “Because honestly, young women and fathers of daughters are awake now, and they’re woke, and they’re not going to let us go back.”She also said she has “so much hope because of that, and obviously California has a huge responsibility to lead.”NEWSOM PUSHES THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO BE ‘MORE CULTURALLY NORMAL’ IF THEY WANT TO WINSiebel Newsom also drew attention last month after criticizing reporters during an event tied to a bill her husband signed into law providing funding for Planned Parenthood.”We just find it incredulous [sic] that we have Planned Parenthood here, and women are 51% of the population,” she said. “And the majority of the questions — all of these questions — have really been about other issues. So, it’s just fascinating.””You have the incredible Women’s Caucus and all these allies, and you’re not asking about it. The founder of one of the world’s most infamous websites has passed away at a young age.
As The Independent reported on Monday, billionaire OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky died following “a long battle with cancer.” He was just 43 years old.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” a spokesperson for OnlyFans said in a statement obtained by The Independent.
“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer.
“His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
Radvinsky was a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur who acquired the parent company of OnlyFans back in 2018.
According to Forbes, he was estimated to be worth about $4.7 billion at the time of his passing.
OnlyFans was founded by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely in 2016. As of 2024, the website has over 377 million users.
Forbes notes that Radvinsky was secretive and avoided giving the spotlight. However, he built his fortune following a career creating websites that claimed to direct people to child porn or bestiality.
Forbes found no evidence that these sites were linked to such repulsive content, but Radvinsky profited from every click.
OnlyFans was founded by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely in 2016. As of 2024, the website has over 377 million users.
OnlyFans has been widely criticized for exploiting its content creators and causing mental health harm. Worse, many have been abused and exploited by sex traffickers.
For every Sophie Rain, who has made over $100 million on OnlyFans, there are thousands more females struggling in poverty and fear.
Moreover, users have found the platform so addictive, like regular porn, that it has damaged their relationships with family members.
The Independent notes that the website took off during the COVID-19 pandemic, when everyone was locked down at home and searching for any form of interaction.

No Palm Sunday procession from Mount of Olives: Jerusalem Catholics cancel traditional celebrations
Jerusalem’s reigning Catholic cleric canceled or postponed multiple religious events due to wartime security concerns as the Iran conflict rages on.
Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa announced in a letter on Monday that the Palm Sunday procession was canceled and the Chrism Mass postponed. The traditional reenactment of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem will be replaced by a moment of prayer at a currently undisclosed location.
“The cancellation decision was made to abide by the rules and regulations, as the country is in an emergency state, prohibiting gatherings for safety reasons,” a Patriarchate spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation when reached for comment.
“Due to the war, we were unable to experience the traditional Lenten journey in Jerusalem,” Pizzaballa writes. “The restrictions imposed by the conflict and the events of recent days do not bode well for any imminent improvement.”

Cardinal Pizzaballa emphasized the Church is in “constant dialogue with the competent authorities” amid “constantly evolving” wartime circumstances. On March 17, less than one week before the Cardinal’s decision, Iranian missile fragments hit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
“The Iranian regime is targeting the holy sites of Christianity, Islam & Judaism. Nothing is sacred to this regime,” Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated after the strike.
“It is already clear, however, that ordinary celebrations open to all cannot take place,” Pizzaballa continues. “The traditional Palm Sunday procession, which goes up to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, to Jerusalem is canceled.”
The Chrism Mass, an annual blessing of oils used in several Catholic sacraments, was also postponed. A new date will be determined “as soon as the situation allows,” according to the Latin Patriarch’s letter. The Cardinal emphasized that churches in the Diocese will remain open despite these changes.
In place of the traditional proceedings, Cardinal Pizzaballa requested that Catholics pray the rosary on March 28, “especially for those suffering because of the conflict.”

Major national beauty brand closes three-quarters of its stores
When it comes to skin routines, I am one of those people who doesn’t easily switch cosmetic brands. I have very sensitive, dry skin, so I don’t like experimenting. However, as with many other consumers, price and availability play a key role in my beauty habits. That’s why I have “backup” brands I turn to when needed. Industry data suggest that 40% of consumers will do the same and choose another brand when their brand of choice is unavailable at their usual store, according to 2023 data by Aytm: Secrets of Skincare & Brand Switching. The same report indicates that more than 60% of shoppers are at least somewhat likely to switch brands, motivated by price, variety, personal needs, and preferences. This is just one of several challenges both direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands and beauty retailers have faced over the last few years.Key cosmetic industry challenges: Market saturation: 54% of beauty executives identify “uncertain consumer spending” and market saturation as the greatest risks to growth in 2026, according to THG Commerce’s 2026 Beauty Report. Customer behavior shift: Consumers are moving away from trends and are increasingly looking for “clinical confidence,” according to Euromonitor: Top Trends 2025/2026. Trend lifespan: The average lifespan of a viral beauty trend on social media has shrunk to just 3 to 4 weeks, making it hard for traditional brands to keep up, reveals THG Commerce’s 2026 Beauty Report. The latest beauty brand that has to change its operating model as it faces some of these challenges is Glossier. Glossier to close nine out of 12 stores and trim its product portfolio Beauty brand Glossier recently confirmed it will close nine of its 12 stores over the next two-and-a-half years, leaving just three flagships in New York, Los Angeles, and London. Colin Walsh, the company’s chief executive since October 2025, confirmed the new strategy to The Business of Fashion, explaining that he is looking to start over. Over the last few years, the company struggled with changes in customer behavior. Its golden era was under founder Emily Weiss, when the brand provided exactly what Millennials wanted. Then Gen Z changed the demands, and Weiss withdrew from her position in 2022. When Kyle Leahy took over, she tried to transform the company, teaming up with Sephora for shelf space and expanding into new beauty products. While results were mixed, with Glossier having success with scents such as You Doux, it was always running behind competition such as Rhode (Hailey Bieber’s brand) and Merit, according to the Business of Fashion. Now Walsh, former CEO of prestige hair brand Ouai, Procter & Gamble’s specialty beauty arm, aims to make a more radical change, starting with store closures and trimming Glossier’s product catalog.
Glossier will close nine out of 12 stores and trim its product portfolio.bluestork/Shutterstock.com
Why Glossier is closing stores: the “playgrounds” transformation The goal behind Walsh’s new strategy is to return the company to its original positioning and provide quality over quantity. Walsh told the outlet that the closures and other changes are needed to concentrate on a “true expression of where this brand has been and where it needs to go.” The CEO explained that the majority of Glossier locations were more of a headache than a benefit. He decided it would be better to let big retailers like Sephora and Space NK handle Glossier’s sales. “We can get caught being operationally heavy with 12 locations … leases, managing all the infrastructure distracts you,” Walsh said. The remaining three stores are set to be transformed into what Walsh calls “playgrounds” that would host events, offer programming, and provide a space to test new ideas. These stores — one in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, the other on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, and the third in Covent Garden in London — were chosen to remain as they drive 55% of store revenue and 60% of new customers. “You can expect more surprising programming and innovative experiential moments in our flagship stores that are always rooted in our community-driven storytelling, which is at the core of our brand,” a Glossier spokesperson told Fast Company. Why is Glossier trimming its product lineup? Glossier launched in October 2014 with only four items. “Over the past four years running Into The Gloss, I saw the need for a beauty brand that speaks to its consumers directly, offering them a chance to engage beyond the traditional touch points of purchase, use and mass marketing. That’s what we’ve created with Glossier—a beauty brand that we want to be friends with,” then-CEO Weiss stated at the time. More Retail:Walmart closes stores for weeks to test new perks for shoppersTarget launches another generous deal to win back shoppers’ trust91-year-old grocery chain closes another store in a key market Over the years it grew its businesses, but also shifted away from its original concept. By 2023, the brand started releasing products almost on a monthly basis. The company entered the race started by its competition, pivoting from its initial track. And while some of its new products, such as the extension of the You fragrance, were successful, “many felt incongruent with the Glossier ethos,” points out Priya Rao, executive editor at The Business of Beauty at The Business of Fashion. “We became a product company across a lot of categories, versus this curated brand focused deeply on their customers’ needs in life,” Walsh said. Now, Walsh plans to focus on the brand’s core products, such as Cloud Paint blush and Boy Brow eyebrow gel. However, it will start by doubling down on fragrances, as the company has seen double-digit growth in this sector. “More spotlight will be shone on the brand’s hero products, as seen with its Glossier You fragrance and “You Smell Good” campaign that launched last month,” a Glossier spokesperson told Fast Company. Glossier is not alone in its struggles Glossier is not the only DTC brand or traditional beauty retailer to deal with industry challenges. Over the last few years, many DTC brands born on the internet began opening physical stores, only to find out that rising rent, harsh competition, and economic headwinds are making it nearly impossible to remain profitable. For example, earlier this year, Pat McGrath Labs, the legendary DTC brand founded by makeup artist Pat McGrath, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, reporting assets and liabilities in the range of $100 million to $500 million, according to prior reporting by TheStreet. Another example is Gwen Stefani’s DTC brand GXVE Beauty. It quietly went dark, taking its website offline and exiting retail partnerships, reported TheStreet’s Fernanda Tronco. Beauty brand closures & bankruptcies (2024-2026):The Body Shop US: In 2024, The Body Shop US closed all U.S. stores following a sudden Chapter 7 liquidation, according toRetail TouchPoints. Forma Brands/Morphe: In 2024, it filed for Chapter 11 and shuttered all standalone U.S. stores to pivot toward wholesale and international markets, reported Financier Worldwide.Cover FX & Mally Beauty: Parent company AS Beauty Group permanently closed both labels due to global trade challenges, according to previous reporting by TheStreet.Good Light Cosmetics: The gender-inclusive K-beauty brand confirmed a total closure set for April 2026 due to high competition, according to The Fashion Law.Flower Beauty: In September 2025, Drew Barrymore’s mass-market cosmetics line shuttered permanently after a 13-year retail run, reported Beauty Independent. Glossier consumers react to closures and strategy shift On platforms like Reddit, early reaction to Glossier’s decision to close most of its stores has been mixed. While some users expressed disappointment over the loss of physical locations, others said the move was “not surprising,” pointing to what they see as a gradual shift away from the brand’s original identity. Some users pointed out years of changes in product strategy, pricing, and brand direction. “As to the products, I think they actually have too many but not good enough. The first products they had, like haloscope, gen G, brow boy, stretch concealer, milky jelly were unique at the time in terms of formula and effect. They no longer have products that would feel unique and had a strong style,” wrote user konstantynopolitanka. The discussion reflects broader concerns that Glossier has lost its differentiation in an increasingly saturated market, something the new CEO also confirmed. And while many users expressed disappointment over the closings, some are hopeful that this is actually the right move for the company.Related: Walmart quietly changes how it prices items
Epstein Cover-Up Deepens; FBI Officers Raise Alarm
Epstein Cover-Up Deepens; FBI Officers Raise Alarm
Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity.news,
Fresh Justice Department files reveal a frantic document destruction operation at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan just days after Jeffrey Epstein’s 2019 death, adding fresh fuel to suspicions of elite protection and deep state obstruction.
This latest bombshell, drawn from a Miami Herald analysis of thousands of pages in the Epstein files, fits the pattern of irregularities we’ve exposed in our prior reporting.
Less than a week after Epstein was found dead inside his cell on August 10, 2019, an inmate was ordered to take bags of shredded material to the jail’s rear gate and throw them in a dumpster on Thursday, August 15, and again on Friday, August 16. The sheer volume struck him as unusual.
Bags of shredded documents at NY jail after Epstein’s death, officer tells FBI https://t.co/wMZlpaAzNl
— Miami Herald (@MiamiHerald) March 21, 2026
“They are shredding everything,” the inmate told one of the guards, adding that he was asked to give the officials a hand with the shredding, with key records vanishing before review.
A corrections officer at the detention facility called the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center that same night, a Friday, at 6:28 p.m. to report that he had “never seen this amount of bags of shredded documents coming out to be put in the dumpster at the rear gate of MCC.”
The caller found it suspicious that an after-action team charged with investigating would be shredding huge amounts of paperwork with FBI, BOP and OIG officials in the building.
A back gate corrections officer was also troubled by what he witnessed. In a memo to investigators three days later, on Monday, August 19, he wrote: “I believe that this conduct may be inappropriate for [an] investigative team to be shredding paperwork related to the investigation and you may want to investigate why BOP employees are destroying records.”
“Can we take a look at the Dumpster ASAP to see if the paper is still there? Possible they didn’t dump it yet,” replied one of the federal agents.
But it was already too late. The trash was picked up that very morning.
Federal prosecutors discovered something else amiss: “We learned today that all institutional count slips for dates prior to August 10, 2019, which we requested on August 12, 2019, are apparently ‘missing.’”
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York opened three separate probes: one into Epstein’s death, an obstruction-of-justice case involving the shredding of documents and possible misconduct by correctional officers, and a separate “Color of Law” corruption probe. Shockingly, these shifted from potential FBI criminal cases to the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General, which cannot prosecute.
Then-Attorney General William Barr immediately announced an “apparent suicide.” The medical examiner ruled the same, so Epstein’s cell was never treated as a crime scene. Critical evidence, including the fabric allegedly used in the hanging, was never properly examined.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, hired by Epstein’s estate and a veteran of over 20,000 autopsies, argued the neck injuries and ruptured capillaries in the eyes were more consistent with strangulation than suicide by hanging.
The Bureau of Prisons conducted a standard “After Action Review,” stating these teams “review such things as various background information for the inmate, health care and personality information, antecedent circumstances, and various other details surrounding the suicide. This team then draws conclusions and makes recommendations to the facility.”
Yet the rush to shred documents and the missing count slips tell a different story.
These developments expose the same bureaucratic stonewalling and selective transparency that has shielded powerful figures tied to Epstein’s network. While some claim simple incompetence, the coordinated destruction of records right under the noses of investigators screams intent to bury connections that could implicate elites.
