Let’s get this out of the way first. The new Netflix limited series “Adolescence” is utterly astonishing.

Astonishing in a good way, as you may never see a more amazingly crafted piece of television.

The four episodes explore Jamie’s initial denial of guilt and his father’s horror at seeing the CCTV footage of his son stabbing the girl over and over again.

The writing, acting, and production are top notch. However, the reason “Adolescence” stands out from other top-tier shows is that each of the four hour-or-so-long episodes is done in one take.

That means the whole one-hour episode is one very long camera shot. It also means the actors — including the young teen playing the lead role — cannot make any mistakes. All of the actors, for a whole hour, are basically performing live theater. No retakes, no catching their breath to refocus on the scene. Just one long camera shot.

And there are four episodes. They did this four times! So yeah, that’s astonishing. They deserve to win all the awards at those insufferable awards shows.

But it’s also an astonishing gut punch, particularly for parents of teens.

Telling it how it is, probably at your kids’ school

I understand the story was based on real-life events, but the script seems to have veered off on its own, and this storyline is indeed all too realistic, not to mention incredibly painful to watch.

“Adolescence” tells the story of a 13-year-old boy named Jamie, who is attracted to an older girl at school who is bullied by someone sharing topless photos she apparently had taken. After Jamie tries to be kind to her, in a self-professed attempt to date her, she rejects him and then mocks him on social media as an “incel” — involuntary celibate.

The mocking escalates, and he responds, one night while he and his friends are out roaming the town, by stabbing her to death.

The four episodes explore Jamie’s initial denial of guilt and his father’s horror at seeing the CCTV footage of his son stabbing the girl over and over again. The second episode has the police interviewing kids at Jamie’s school, where it becomes obvious that these kids are living in a world that the adults are not bothering with; the disrespect shown to the teachers seems to underscore the fact that the teachers are not connecting in any meaningful way with their students.

The third episode aims to reveal what’s in Jamie’s head — it’s a long interview with a psychologist — and we get a pretty clear picture of a 13-year-old who is dealing with adult issues, over-sexualized behaviors, and social media bullying — all without the benefit of any adult intervention.

The most painful television I’ve ever watched

The fourth episode — quite possibly the most painful I have ever watched — concerns the parents struggling with the guilt that their neighbors and community have already assigned to them. The parents and their 18-year-old daughter endure a highly unpleasant family outing where the father is recognized as the killer’s dad. After the older sister shows love and compassion for her parents despite having just endured said outing, her father asks her mother, “How did we make her?” To which mom replies, “The same way we made him.”

The point being that they did the same things, and one child seems to be coping and well-adjusted and loving … while the other stabbed a girl multiple times, in uncontrollable rage.

But let’s go back and talk about what is depicted.

1. A hardworking father running his own plumbing business, who often leaves by 6 a.m., not to return till 8 p.m.

2. A child trapped, spending all day in an institution where adult order and control has broken down, with rampant disrespectful behavior toward whatever authority does exist but especially among the teens toward each other. Young teens at the school engaging in adult sexualized behavior (nude photos, mocking a 13-year-old for being a virgin), and no adults caring enough to see or intervene.

3. A 13-year-old who regularly comes home, marches upstairs, and spends the rest of the night on his computer by himself — except when he is out with his friends, fairly late at night with no adult supervision.

We find out about the dad’s long hours and the son’s computer time during the parents’ painful self-examination in episode 4. They rightly surmise that they could have done better, but regarding the computer time, the father points out that all the kids are that way these days.

‘All kids are like that’ — no excuse

Yes, they are. But they don’t have to be. And “kids being that way” — as well as tired parents working long hours — cannot be an excuse for no communication. Parents have to talk to their kids. A lot. There has to be a relationship.

The unsupervised roaming around at night goes hand in hand with the complete lack of communication. Obviously, parents should know where a 13-year-old is, especially at 10 p.m. That issue is never addressed, nor is the fact that the child’s school is a cesspool of toxic, inappropriate behaviors. Schools bear far too much resemblance to prisons — architecturally and procedurally — and the inmates can be feral in both.

I know. That’s pretty much every middle school, junior high, or high school, right? But if you’re thinking that — why are your kids there, again? Because there are alternatives. The point here is that the older your child gets, they continue to need plenty of time with you. And you have to be the one who makes sure that happens, because they won’t.

Failure of authority

Other reviewers are saying this miniseries is a referendum on “toxic masculinity.”

I guess it is a male child who stabs a female child, and that’s about as toxic as it gets. But it isn’t because of his masculinity. It is a lack of masculinity.

We see teachers with no authority to provide a safe and effective learning environment; a father with no time to build trust so that Jamie can bring him his problems; parents caught up in their own problems and pursuits, who have a niggling feeling that all that computer time is not great, but they are willing to tell themselves “all kids are like that” while their son is alone in his room being torn to shreds, his confidence destroyed, his moral compass irretrievably broken.

Should you watch it?

I can’t recommend it, really. It’s peppered with profanity, but that pales in comparison to the emotional pain of watching it unfold. (The acting is exemplary, particularly Owen Cooper as Jamie and “Adolescence” co-creator Stephen Graham as his dad.)

However. If you have a teen in school … or a teen who spends a lot of time alone in his/her room or on his/her phone or computer … or a teen who’s out at night, you know not where … then YES. You should watch all four episodes. In fact, you should go get that teen and have them watch with you. And then you should talk about it. All of it.

What could be a more important use of your time than that?

Another perspective

Dr. Justin Coulson raises some excellent points with his thoughtful review of “Adolescence” that I think are also worth consideration.

For more than a century, the Chinese Communist Party has sought total ideological dominance in China and has never hesitated to persecute those who step out of line — even those outside the mainland. The CCP, an authoritarian force with no tolerance for dissent within its own ranks, has launched a ruthless campaign against Shen Yun, a New York-based dance and music company that portrays and celebrates 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture — before communism.

The CCP’s obsession with controlling the cultural narrative is rooted in its history and ideology — and is essential to its survival. Since seizing power in 1949, through Mao Zedong’s reign of terror that killed tens of millions and impoverished hundreds of millions, the CCP has worked systematically to dismantle traditional Chinese values that once defined the nation’s cultural fabric.

While the CCP claims to be the sole guardian of Chinese civilization, Shen Yun debunks this myth by showing the real China before communism.

The Chinese Communist Party embraced the concept of “Year Zero,” a radical idea first implemented by Mao’s Cambodian ally, Pol Pot. Under this doctrine, everything that existed before the communist revolution was considered corrupt and had to be erased. Acknowledging that prerevolutionary society had any merit threatened the very premise of the regime’s legitimacy.

This systematic rewriting of history and destruction of culture reached its peak during Mao’s Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976. Communist authorities dismantled traditions, purged intellectuals, and turned families against each other. Universities became arenas for ideological warfare, where those labeled as enemies of the revolution faced public humiliation and violence. Chaos and brutality followed, leaving a society fractured in the name of ideological purity.

Communism can’t create culture

The CCP’s “forced” culture is contradictory to the very definition of culture itself. Culture is the collective result of the shared beliefs, values, behaviors, and the joint creations of millions of individuals — not something a top-down authority can manufacture.

Shen Yun, founded in 2006 by Falun Gong practitioners in the United States, directly challenges the CCP’s false and deadly narrative through the classical arts. The group’s performances are the only efforts to revive 5,000 years of traditional dance that the Cultural Revolution sought to erase. The CCP initiated a campaign to persecute the Falun Gong in 1999, and it has only expanded and intensified since.

Performing in over 150 cities globally, Shen Yun’s performances revive pre-communist Chinese culture, emphasizing spiritual depth and moral values that the CCP wants erased. The vision of China before communism that Shen Yun presents undermines the entire premise of the CCP’s necessity — and exposes it as a deadly force in the process.

While the CCP claims to be the sole guardian of Chinese civilization, Shen Yun debunks this myth by showing the real China before communism. The CPP’s “culture” is revealed for what it is: a perversion of thousands of years of history.

Shen Yun’s mission goes beyond artistic expression; it is a cultural and ideological counterpoint to the CCP’s worldview. Weaving together classical Chinese dance, music, and storytelling, while also portraying the CCP’s human rights abuses — including organ harvesting and suppression of dissent — strikes at the heart of the party’s efforts to whitewash its record.

Media toes Beijing’s line

Unable to suppress Shen Yun directly within China, where it is banned, the CCP has turned to a multifaceted disinformation strategy and influence operations abroad.

Western media has become a key weapon in China’s arsenal — notably the New York Times. Once a target of CCP censorship, the Times has recently pivoted to align with Beijing’s interests, publishing articles in 2024 that attack Shen Yun with dubious claims and inaccuracies. These pieces, penned by reporter Nicole Hong, allege financial misconduct and cult-like behavior within Shen Yun — accusations the performing arts group has firmly rebutted as “riddled with inaccuracies.”

The CCP’s involvement in these attacks is undeniable. Jennifer Zeng, a well-known blogger and whistleblower, exposed a key connection: Hong’s father serves as a director of a CCP United Front organization, a group dedicated to expanding the party’s influence abroad. This link raises serious concerns that Hong’s reporting may serve as a vehicle for CCP propaganda.

The suspicion grows stronger when considering the Times’ evolving stance on Beijing, which softened after years of restricted access in China. Adding to the controversy, a former Shen Yun artist cited in Hong’s articles publicly rejected the Times’ portrayal, accusing the outlet of distorting his words to fit a predetermined narrative.

The CCP’s efforts go beyond media manipulation. Using diplomatic threats and economic leverage, it has actively pressured foreign governments and theaters to cancel Shen Yun performances. These tactics align with the party’s larger objective of silencing Shen Yun and preventing it from reaching global audiences. Every performance contradicts the CCP’s claim that its rule embodies the height of Chinese civilization.

The CCP’s assault on Shen Yun is not merely about one performing arts group; it is a microcosm of a larger struggle over who defines Chinese identity. By reviving a cultural heritage that predates and transcends communism, Shen Yun offers an alternative to the CCP’s vision — one that honors spirituality, freedom, and human dignity.

For the CCP, controlling the cultural narrative is a matter of survival, and its determination to control it reveals its insecurity. How weak is the CCP’s ideology if it can be threatened this much by the performing arts?

When Allie Beth Stuckey sat down with RFK Jr.’s former running mate, Nicole Shanahan, to hear the incredible story of her recent conversion to Christianity, a deeply personal subject came up: Shanahan’s ex-husband, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, with whom she shares daughter Echo, 6.

When Echo was 18 months old, she was diagnosed with autism, and Shanahan made the incredibly difficult decision to sell her business so that she could better meet her daughter’s needs. This all happened during the height of 2020’s COVID lockdowns.

When Shanahan ventured “knee-deep [into] the autism literature,” her world was flipped upside down when she learned that the condition is “biomedical,” meaning it’s an environmentally triggered disorder that manifests not just in the brain but also in the body.

This put her in an incredibly difficult situation as a member of the “tech wife mafia.”

She strongly suspected that her daughter’s autism was the result of a vaccine, but she was married to a heavyweight at Google — a company that played a critical role in the censorship that took place during the pandemic regarding ensuring that the pro-vaccine narrative was pushed and all skepticism silenced.

“There was a very, very deep centralized [COVID] narrative, and Google really was the leader in making sure that that narrative was ‘the truth.’ They censored so many voices,” she says. “And I found myself married to the guy that started the company.”

“It’s a big problem for anyone to find themselves in,” she admits.

“Can you tell me a little bit more about what [the tech wife] world is like? How deeply indoctrinated is it in progressive ideology?” Allie asks.

“I think at the heart of the progressive billionaire wife mafia is a real desire to want to be liked, to give back, and to be celebrated for doing good work,” is Shanahan’s honest answer.

“Then the wealth sets in,” she adds, noting that the money comes in “not necessarily because their tech husband is an exceptional entrepreneur,” but rather because “the government helped fund their husband at some point along the way.”

“If you look at the history of Google or the history of Facebook or the history of Apple … these companies didn’t just spring up out of nowhere. They came through institutional backing at some point,” Shanahan explains. “And so it’s no surprise that the intertwining between the Democratic Party, which is so prevalent in California, and these companies has just always been there.”

“I don’t think that the wives necessarily are bad people, but I think that their worlds are so small, and they actually have no idea how small those worlds are because they can’t break free of it, and they feel this need to contribute to these causes that are within that very small sphere of influence, and that’s their only litmus test of am I valuable or am I not valuable?” she says.

If that wasn’t sad enough, according to Shanahan, these women are also pawns in the game of the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset,” a nefarious world domination plot wrapped in false humanitarianism.

“The tech mafia wives, I believe, were kind of being conscripted in many ways, and their money was especially being conscripted in to set the groundwork for the Great Reset, specifically through a network of NGO advisers, relationship with Hollywood, relationship with Davos, and their own companies.”

These women, she says, lead incredibly busy lives; “their kids oftentimes have health issues”; “a lot of them have relationship issues with their husbands; and a lot of them themselves are medicated on SSRIs and antidepressants … so it’s chaos, and these women find their meaning through their philanthropic work.”

“My self-worth was my philanthropic work,” Shanahan confessed. “I really believed that I was giving black communities a chance to rise up out of oppression. I really believed I was helping indigenous communities rise up out of oppression.”

But when she took an honest look at what all that money was actually accomplishing, she realized that the communities were actually getting worse in every area.

These tech mafia wives, however, don’t understand that their money and time are actually being funneled into a fundamentally “broken” system that “makes everybody worse off.”

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced a partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development to end federally funded housing for illegal aliens.

Noem released a video of herself and HUD Secretary Scott Turner signing the partnership to ensure that federal funds for housing go to American citizens first.

‘If you are an illegal immigrant, you should leave now. The gravy train is over.’

“American tax dollars should be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to an issue as pressing as our nation’s housing crisis,” said Turner in a statement.

The agreement will assign a full-time staff member from HUD who will facilitate data sharing in order to ensure that taxpayer-funded housing programs will not benefit illegal aliens.

“The Biden administration prioritized illegal aliens over our own citizens, including by giving illegal aliens taxpayer-funding housing at the expense of Americans. Not any more,” read a statement from Noem.

“The entire government will work together to identify abuse and exploitation of public benefits and make sure those in this country illegally are not receiving federal benefits or other financial incentives to stay illegally,” she added. “If you are an illegal immigrant, you should leave now. The gravy train is over.”

Turner said that the order was made in part to address the housing affordability crisis in the U.S.

“Americans will no longer take a back seat to illegal aliens,” he added.

In November the CEO of the Zillow real estate site admitted that there was likely a link between the historic number of illegal aliens in the U.S. and the lack of affordable housing.

The box office results are in for the first weekend of Disney’s “Snow White” remake, and it is one of the company’s worst bombs.

Several controversies have surrounded the live-action remake of one of Disney’s oldest and most beloved fairy-tale films, which was mocked and ridiculed by many on the right.

‘I cannot believe how empty these seats are — nobody is buying tickets for this mess.’

While the movie cost hundreds of millions to produce, it took in only $43 million domestically in its first weekend.

When compared to box office receipts from other Disney live-action adaptations, “Snow White” is the second-worst movie ever, only behind “Mufasa: The Lion King.” Among the top performers were “The Lion King,” which garnered $191 million, and “Beauty and the Beast” with $176 million.

Globally, the movie garnered $87 million.

Several social media users were posting screenshots of empty theater reservations at the movie to show its lack of popularity.

“I’m cryinggg LMAOOO I cannot believe how empty these seats are — nobody is buying tickets for this mess,” said one viewer in Atlanta.

“At this rate, Disney might just as well stream Snow White on Disney+. No one watching is watching this movie in the theater. Ticket sales/pre-sales is completely empty,” said another user.

Rachel Zegler, the lead actress of the film, was lambasted for wishing that President Donald Trump and his supporters would “never know peace.” She later apologized. While the movie interjects left-wing narratives into the timeless story, far-left activists opposed it because of the inclusion of Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

Disney was also forced to retool the movie several times over outcry for and against the representation of the seven dwarves.

The movie received a very low 44% score among critics at the Rotten Tomatoes website but got a respectable 74% approval score from audiences.

The FBI has formed a dedicated task force to put a stop to the ongoing attacks against Elon Musk’s Tesla.

Musk’s electric vehicle company has been the target of recent attacks from the left after he began serving as a senior adviser to President Donald Trump. Musk has been working alongside the president and the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency to root out waste and fraud within the federal government.

‘There are definitely people behind this, and not just the solo actors.’

The FBI has received 48 reports of attacks on Tesla vehicles, dealerships, and charging stations so far this month. The bureau is investigating at least seven of those incidents alongside local law enforcement, the New York Post reported Monday.

According to the news outlet, the onslaught of destructive strikes prompted the FBI to launch a dedicated 10-person task force consisting of special agents and intelligence analysts from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the Department of Treasury and the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division.

Additionally, the ATF is placing personnel in FBI field offices, beginning with San Antonio, Texas. So far, there have been destructive protests in at least nine states.

The FBI issued a public safety announcement about the recent attacks on Saturday.

“FBI warns of nationwide incidents—arson, gunfire, and vandalism targeting Tesla EVs, dealerships, and charging stations in 9+ states, linked to political grievances,” it read.

It noted that the perpetrators of the crimes against the company are attacking those they “perceive to be racists, fascists, or political opponents.”

The bureau urged the public to be vigilant near Tesla-owned locations.

The Trump administration has vowed to hold the bad actors accountable for their crimes against Musk and Tesla.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has referred to the attacks as “domestic terrorism.”

While the FBI claimed that the attacks were committed by “lone offenders,” others, including Musk, are convinced someone is funding and organizing the destruction.

Musk has speculated that leftist organizations are behind the attacks.

Sierra One Consulting founder and former FBI agent Rob D’Amico told “Fox and Friends” on Monday, “What they [the FBI] really need to do is start looking at the conspiracy.”

“Where are they getting their information? Who’s inciting them, and who’s encouraging them? There are definitely people behind this, and not just the solo actors,” D’Amico said. “I do think there’s coordination in there. I do think there’s conspiracy behind it, and I think we’ll be able to see the funding if we do it right. And that’s what the FBI does great.”

Action Network, a left-wing group, is encouraging a “TeslaTakedown” protest on March 29, dubbed the “Global Day of Action.” Its website features a map of Tesla locations where activists are encouraged to protest.

“Sell your Teslas, dump your stock, join the picket lines,” Action Network’s site reads. “We’re tanking Tesla’s stock price to stop Musk.”

The group claims that Musk is “destroying our democracy, and he’s using the fortune he built at Tesla to do it.”

“We are taking action at Tesla to stop Musk’s illegal coup,” it adds. “Tesla Takedown is a peaceful protest movement. We oppose violence, vandalism and destruction of property. This protest is a lawful exercise of our First Amendment right to peaceful assembly.”

A mother on her way to a doctor’s appointment last week in Lynnwood, Washington, told KCPQ-TV a male wearing a mask cut her off, got out of his vehicle, and began harassing her because she was driving a Tesla.

Leigh, a Tesla owner for the last two years, added to the station that she first noticed the aggressive driver honking behind her as she approached a red light Wednesday morning.

‘I could only see his eyes. He also had a large bag in front of him and baggy clothes. I had no idea if I was safe or not.’

“Thankfully, I was by myself,” Leigh added to KCPQ. “When I made a left turn, they followed me and cut around me.”

She told the station things heated up when the driver of a white SUV cut her off, stopped in the middle of the road, got out, approached her vehicle, and began berating her.

“He gets out and walks straight up to my door window. So I cracked my window, and I said, ‘What? What is the problem?’” Leigh recounted to KCPQ. “He goes, ‘You need to sell your car. This is a Nazi car. You’re driving it, you need to sell your car.’”

The mother seemed “visibly shaken” when describing the encounter, the station said, and she noted that the driver — who was wearing a camouflage jacket and a ski mask — lowered his mask to tell her she “needed to learn to drive” and then returned to his car.

“I could only see his eyes. He also had a large bag in front of him and baggy clothes. I had no idea if I was safe or not,” Leigh told KCPQ, adding that “I felt very threatened.”

As is the case with many Tesla owners, Leigh expressed values to KCPQ that reflect a liberal sensibility: “Being in Seattle, climate’s important, our footprint’s important. This seemed like the right move for our very busy family.”

Yet, once again, a radical leftist has taken it upon himself to menace someone who probably agrees with him about most issues.

“We drive a lot, and it saves us on gas,” Leigh noted to the station, adding that “now it feels like a huge risk; it’s scary.”

Since the confrontation, Leigh says she has altered her driving routes, opting for highways instead of back roads to avoid stop signs and feel safer. She has filed multiple reports regarding the incident, but it remains unclear if the suspect will face any consequences.

“If it was easy to just turn over a $60,000 car and find something new that works, that’s one thing,” she also told the station. “That’s not a decision that everybody can make overnight, and I think that puts a lot of us in a hard position.”

Leigh also told KCPQ, “Just really sad that this is what’s happening to people. Honestly, it doesn’t affect how I believe or what I believe — it’s just the car I drive.”

What Leigh experienced is part of an ongoing trend of open violence and vandalism the left has been carrying out against Tesla cars and Tesla owners. The company’s CEO, Elon Musk, has been heading up the Trump administration’s cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency, which is deeply unpopular with leftists. Some examples:

• Recently a male who was caught on video keying a Tesla in San Jose, California, was arrested for a felony.
• Teslas at a Las Vegas service center were torched with Molotov cocktails and shot at.
• A Tesla protester lit himself on fire while trying to destroy Tesla charging stations in South Carolina, police said.
• Also, a now-removed website — “Dogequest” — purportedly doxxed Tesla owners around the country and mapped out possible targets for destructive protesters.

Actor Rob Lowe decried the state of the entertainment business in California and claimed that he was forced to miss out on a television show because of mismanagement.

Lowe made the comments while speaking with guest Adam Scott on his “Literally! With Rob Lowe” podcast. He said that it was more expensive to walk across the street and shoot a film than it was to move the entire production to another country.

‘It’s criminal what California and LA have let happen. It’s criminal. Everybody should be fired.’

“It’s cheaper to bring a hundred American people to Ireland than to walk across the lot to Fox, past the sound stages, and do it there,” Lowe said.

“Crazy!” Scott responded.

Scott then asked Lowe if they were to film the popular series “Parks and Rec” again if they would have to move it out of California.

“One hundred percent, we would be,” Lowe replied. “We would be in Budapest.”

“It’s so weird how nothing shoots in Los Angeles,” Scott said.

“Nothing!” Lowe interjected. “I had my next show already done, scripts, deals closed, and they said we’re shooting this in New York, and I said I’m not moving to New York to do this, and it went away. The show’s done. Not doing it.”

“Wow!” Scott replied. “No s**t!”

Lowe explained that other places in the world offer tax incentives of up to 40% and other perks in order to steal production from Los Angeles.

“That’s not even talking about the union stuff!” he added.

“It’s criminal what California and L.A. have let happen. It’s criminal. Everybody should be fired,” Lowe said.

Scott offered an anecdote about studios where he had worked, claiming they were bustling with new shows in the past but have since become a ghost town.

“It’s weird,” he said.

“Super, super weird,” Lowe added.

Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom recently announced a plan to double the tax incentives for the entertainment industry to $750 million in an attempt to revive business in Hollywood. Some have criticized the effort as not comprehensive enough to reverse the industry’s decline.

“It’s just too expensive to shoot here,” said Scott.

“The slow seeping of secularism into our government in the name of tolerance” is a cancer in this country, says Blaze News senior politics editor and Washington correspondent Christopher Bedford.

Like actual cancer that attacks healthy cells, secularism “is waging open warfare on the religion that underpins our entire civilization,” which is Christianity.

If it wins, the future of America looks dark.

Someone who’s been exploring this issue in depth is John Daniel Davidson, senior editor of the Federalist.

Davidson recently joined Bedford on “Blaze News Tonight” to share his thoughts on the sickness that’s threatening to destroy the fabric of America.

“The future of a post-Christian America is not going to be this liberal utopia where we all kind of live and let live and we have like a libertarian kumbaya,” says Davidson. “In the absence of the Christian religion being sort of the basis of our society, the basis of our civic culture and our government and our public morality, something else is going to replace that, some other religion, and what I argue is that it’ll be a resurgence of paganism.”

There’s already ample evidence that Davidson’s theory is right. Satanic groups are cropping up all over the country.

Bedford points to a Kansas-based group called the Satanic Grotto that is planning to hold a “Black Mass” on March 28 at the Kansas Capitol in Topeka in the name of the First Amendment. According to the event’s Facebook page, the gathering aims to “dedicate the grounds and our legislature to the glory of Satan.” The event apparently will include a Bible-burning and a cross-burning, as well as a mockery of the Catholic Eucharist.

“I think a proper understanding of what America is and where we come from would have to recognize that freedom of religion, like freedom of speech, has its limits, and the founders who instituted freedom of religion never imagined that it would be used as a pretext to attack what they would have called true religion or legitimate religion,” says Davidson.

All of the things that we associate with the American way of life — freedom of speech, freedom of religion, tolerance, consent of the governed, the rule of law, individual rights, the equality of people before the law — “come from Christianity.”

“If you get rid of Christianity, all those things are going to go too,” says Davidson. “It’s not going to be the kind of country that you want to live in whether or not you’re a Christian.”

Bedford agrees and wonders if this Satanic Grotto as well as the various “after-school Satan clubs” popping up in public education across the country are mostly composed of “useful idiots” pushing a radical leftist agenda or if they really are seeking to destroy Christianity.

Many satanic groups claim that Satan is just a symbol for their social justice causes and not an actual deity they worship.

Davidson, however, says that’s not always the case.

“I think a lot of them are useful idiots, as is often the case, but the ones who are driving it — the radicals, the ideologues, the people who are out here on the front lines trying to stage a Black Mass here in Kansas … they are attacking Christianity, and they’re not attacking Christianity because they’re radical atheists and secularists. They are people who increasingly do believe in the spiritual world; they do believe in an enchanted cosmos.”

These individuals, he says, “just hate Christianity, and that’s why they attack it relentlessly.”

Massachusetts released illegal aliens with child rape charges back onto the streets by setting low bail amounts.

A Thursday WBZ-TV report looked into accusations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement that local law enforcement had released suspected violent criminals.

According to ICE press releases, Boston Police freed one individual, and others were released from jails or courts.

Jose Fernando-Perez, an illegal alien from Guatemala, was charged with three counts of forcible rape of a child and three counts of aggravated rape of a child. ICE arrested him in February after a court ignored the agency’s detainer request, releasing him on “pre-trial conditions” in October 2022. WBZ reported that Fernando-Perez posted $7,500 bail with an order to remain at home.

‘Giving sanctuary to violent criminal immigrants.’

Acting field office director for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston, Patricia Hyde, stated that Fernando-Perez “is exactly the type of alien we are targeting with our ‘worst first’ policy.”

“He posed a significant danger to the children of Massachusetts, and we will not tolerate such a threat to our community,” Hyde said.

Stivenson Omar Perez-Ajtzalan, also an illegal alien from Guatemala, was charged with aggravated rape of a child with a 10-year age difference. He, too, posted his $7,500 bail and was released with a GPS monitor, according to WBZ. He was apprehended by ICE earlier this month.

“Not only did Perez display a blatant disregard for our immigration laws, he sexually assaulted a child. He came to this country to do harm, and now he must be made to face the consequences of his actions,” Hyde stated.

Juan Alberto Rodezno-Marin, an illegal alien from Honduras, was released with a GPS monitor after he was charged with “indecent assault and battery on [a] person over 14, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, masked armed robbery and assault to rape.” He was apprehended by ICE in January.

WBZ reported that Worcester County Jail released two individuals accused of child rape after they posted just $500 bail.

Two other inmates facing cocaine and fentanyl trafficking charges were bailed out on $500 and $4,000 bail.

Worcester County Sheriff Lewis Evangelidis told WBZ, “Most people would not think that’s an appropriate bail.”

Under Massachusetts law, local law enforcement is prohibited from holding an inmate based only on their illegal immigration status, thereby forbidding them from cooperating with ICE detainer requests.

“It’s very frustrating for me to know I might have a drug trafficker or a violent offender, I call ICE and they’re like, we’re very busy with a couple situations, I can’t get there for a few hours. I can’t hold them right now,” Evangelidis stated. “We’ve seen the detainers triple in the last three years. We were in the 30s a couple years ago. We exceeded 100 in 2024. To me, that means there are more people illegally in the Commonwealth committing crimes.”

Meanwhile, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (D) continues to defend her city’s sanctuary policies. During a State of the City speech last week, the mayor said she “stand[s] with immigrants.”

“While this national moment isn’t the one I — and so many families — had hoped for, I am grateful that my daughter gets to call this city home. Boston is not a city that tolerates tyranny,” she said. “Boston doesn’t back down.”

During a 2023 interview with GBH’s Boston Public Radio, Wu stated that everyone has a “legal right” to enter the U.S. to claim asylum and seek shelter.

President Donald Trump’s administration responded to Wu’s State of the City speech, claiming she had “doubled down on giving sanctuary to violent criminal immigrants.”

“Why is Mayor Wu intent on defying the will of the American people and obstructing the Trump Administration’s efforts to remove these monsters from our streets?” the administration questioned.

Wu accused the administration of spreading “reckless propaganda.”

“Boston is proud to be the safest major city in the country, and we work with all levels of law enforcement every day to prevent crime and hold perpetrators accountable,” Wu said. “If the Trump administration is truly concerned about safety, they should fund healthcare and education, support our veterans, pass common sense gun reforms, and stop threatening our economy.”
