Trump pulls plug on government’s 8,000 EV chargers

March 22, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

The word has come down from on high: Shut down the power, and sell the fleet.

The Trump administration’s General Services Administration is set to pull the plug on all EV charging stations in federal buildings nationwide. In addition, the agency plans to off-load newly purchased EVs from the federal vehicle fleet.

Shutting this down isn’t just about saving pennies; it’s a signal. The Trump administration is pumping the brakes on the whole EV push, big time.

Tell me again how Trump’s in the tank for Elon?

Fleet cheat

The GSA is the agency that keeps the federal government’s buildings humming and manages a massive fleet of about 650,000 vehicles.

Under Biden, the GSA went all in on EVs — ordering over 58,000 zero-emission rides and installing thousands of charging ports nationwide. The goal? Electrify everything by 2035.

But now, with Trump back in the driver’s seat, the GSA is hitting the brakes hard. It is pulling the plug on hundreds of charging stations — think 8,000 plugs going dark — and off-loading those brand-new EVs faster than you can say “range anxiety.”

The reasoning? These assets aren’t “mission critical.” Translation: The GSA doesn’t think EVs fit the government’s real priorities.

Free ride

Let’s break this down. These chargers weren’t just for government vehicles and federal employees; they were being used for personal EVs, too. We’re talking Denver Federal Center, VA sites, military bases, and other places where federal employees could cop a complimentary charge for their personal vehicles.

The free ride is over. And GSA is unloading its electric vehicle fleets, too. No word yet on whether the government is selling them cheap or just parking them in some giant government lot. Either way, this is a seismic shift. The Biden administration spent billions of your tax dollars to push this green dream, and now the GSA has yanked the emergency brake.

And let’s not kid ourselves — shutting this down isn’t just about saving pennies; it’s a signal. The Trump administration is pumping the brakes on the whole EV push, big time.

War on the green agenda

It’s no secret that President Trump is not a fan of Biden’s EV mandate. He’s already paused $5 billion in public charger funding and nixed plans for more federal EVs. This is war on the green agenda. Biden’s team dropped BILLIONS of dollars of your money to electrify everything by 2035.

The GSA is responsible for managing federal assets including a fleet of approximately 650,000 vehicles. Under the Biden administration, it embarked on a plan to transition to zero-emission vehicles. That included the procurement of over 58,000 EVs and the installation of more than 25,000 charging ports. It never came anywhere close to achieving those figures though, and this new directive puts that plan to a swift end.

It’s not clear where all those unwanted EVs will go. Technically, the GSA could simply take the vehicles out of the fleet and put them into storage rather than sell them at a loss.

It’s also uncertain how the agency will replace the vehicles being phased out; possibilities include purchasing new gas-powered models or reallocating older ones from retirement. I hope they reuse the older ones and stop wasting our tax dollars.

Waste management

Three years ago, the Biden administration gave out a total of $7.5 billion in grants for states to develop EV charging infrastructure; since then, only about a dozen charging stations have been built nationwide.

This is a waste of taxpayer dollars. Carmakers need to shift gears and stop cranking out EVs that are not selling and sitting on dealer lots. Making what their customers want rather than what is mandated will return the profits they once enjoyed.

So what’s your take? Is the GSA right to ditch EVs and chargers? Hit me up in the comments. I want to hear your opinions!

Judge or activist? Trump CLASHES with another judge over climate funding

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

Almost as if it’s the judiciary’s only purpose, another activist judge is attempting to block President Donald Trump from cutting the government’s frivolous spending of taxpayer dollars.

This time it’s Judge Tanya Chutkan, the D.C. judge who rejected President Trump’s presidential immunity in the January 6 case — and she’s doing everything she can to keep climate change funding on the board.

“You could say she’s an activist just cosplaying as a judge,” Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” comments. “She’s trying to halt EPA chief Lee Zeldin from shutting down the Biden billion-dollar pipeline to environmental extremist groups.”

“She has ordered President Trump to let Citibank keep all of this gravy train going, and this taxpayer money, your money,” Gonzales continues, “is going to activist groups like Power Forward, which is connected to election denier Stacey Abrams and the corrupt Climate United Fund.”

“This is over 20 billion of our dollars that Lee Zeldin is trying to get back,” she adds, noting that Zeldin has more than enough reason to be fighting for it.

“An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago, featuring a Biden EPA political appointee talking about how they were tossing gold bars off the Titanic, rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before Inauguration Day,” Zeldin said in a video address to the American people.

“The gold bars were tax dollars, and tossing them off the Titanic meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it. Following this revelation, during my meetings with members of Congress, I made a very important commitment to them and to the American people, which I reiterated at my confirmation hearing,” he continued.

“That if confirmed, I would immediately get a full accounting. Fortunately, my awesome team at EPA has found the gold bars. Shockingly, roughly 20 billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA,” he added.

While Gonzales is grateful for Zeldin’s action, she’s not surprised.

“It’s not shocking to me that these Democrat activists who are in disguise, whether they’re a judge or they’re a Chuck Schumer, whoever, it doesn’t shock me that they hate the fact that we have an administration that is trying to root out a bunch of corruption and fraud and waste,” Gonzales says.

“But what is shocking to me, is that they are so forthright about it, they are so in your-face about it, they think that this is going to go over well with the American people, that they are trying to prevent President Trump,” she continues, “from doing the things that he said he was going to do.”

California police chief says early release of criminal led to horrific death of officer

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

A California police chief blamed lax incarceration policies for the death of an officer in a horrible car crash.

Deputy Hector Cuevas Jr. was killed when his patrol vehicle crashed into another car while chasing after 22-year-old Ryan Dwayne Turner Jr. on Monday. Cuevas’ patrol vehicle was split in half from the force of the car accident, and he died at the scene.

‘Ryan Turner’s actions speak loudly that he has a habitual pattern of fleeing law enforcement because he fears no consequences.’

The incident unfolded when deputies spotted a stolen vehicle in Victorville on St. Patrick’s Day. When they tried to stop the vehicle, the driver fled from them. While giving chase, Cuevas hit a woman’s car at an intersection. Turner then fled on foot and was apprehended by police.

On Tuesday, the Rialto Police Department said in a statement that Turner had a history of trying to flee from law enforcement.

In Jan. 2024, Turner was involved in a remarkably similar series of events. He was driving a reportedly stolen car when Rialto police tried to stop him and he fled from officers. In the pursuit, an officer crashed into another car in an intersection. Turner fled on foot but was captured.

He also tried to flee from officers after being handcuffed.

Although he was charged with felony evasion, possession of a stolen vehicle, and grand theft auto, he pleaded no contest to grand theft auto and the other charges were dropped.

He was sentenced to 16 months in county prison, but served only eight months before being released.

Rialto Police Chief Mark Kling said that policies on crediting prisoners for time served likely led to the death of Deputy Cuevas.

“Because of this law, Ryan Turner was released from county prison after serving only half of his original 16-month sentence,” said Kling. “Before AB 109 and PC 4019 were enacted, there is a good likelihood that Ryan Turner would still be in state prison today and this deputy would still be alive. Ryan Turner’s actions speak loudly that he has a habitual pattern of fleeing law enforcement because he fears no consequences.”

Turner was charged with second-degree murder.

The woman that Cuevas crashed into also spoke to KTTV-TV about the accident.

“I was about to turn left and then the cop came right in front of me, and he had no siren, no lights, nothing,” said Marcelline Demyan.

“I feel sorry for his family. I know he has two kids and a wife and two siblings. I feel really sorry for them,” she added.

Demyan suffered a broken finger.

Scenes from the crash can be viewed on the news video from KTLA-TV on YouTube.

Disney shareholders overwhelmingly vote to continue DEI rating from Human Rights Commission

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

While other companies are rejecting DEI policies, the Disney corporation is going to continue following a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion rating from the Human Rights Commission.

Shareholders of the company overwhelmingly voted against the proposal from the National Center for Public Policy Research to have the company stop participating in the HRC’s annual Corporate Equality Index.

‘They know what we know — that despite all the noise, commitments to inclusion pay figurative dividends and help their literal bottom line.’

“When corporations take extreme positions, they destroy shareholder value by alienating large portions of their customers and investors. This proposal provides Disney with an opportunity to move back to neutral,” read the proposal from the NCPPR’s Free Enterprise Project.

The proposal went on to criticize Disney’s involvement with transgender advocacy groups that sought “to sow gender confusion in children, encourage irreversible surgical procedures on confused teens, effectively eliminate girls’ and women’s sports and bathrooms, and roll back long-standing religious liberties.”

Disney’s board recommended against the proposal, and an overwhelming percentage of shareholders agreed.

Only about 1% of shareholders reportedly voted in favor of dropping the DEI index.

The proposal noted that Disney had obtained a perfect score on the index, but that could only be attained “by abiding by its partisan, divisive, and increasingly radical criteria.”

Eric Bloem of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation said the vote proved that DEI policies improve corporate profits.

“This vote gives us a clear statement of values from Disney’s shareholders. They know what we know — that despite all the noise, commitments to inclusion pay figurative dividends and help their literal bottom line.”

Other companies have chosen to end their participation in the DEI index, including the Ford Motor Company, Harley-Davidson, and Tractor Supply. DEI advocates have admitted that their campaign to impose left-wing policies on corporations has lost momentum in recent years.

Denver mayor used auto-delete messaging platform to have secret talks about migrant crisis

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

Democratic Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and his team used Signal, a messaging application with an auto-delete feature, to have secret communications about the sanctuary city’s immigration crisis.

KCNC-TV revealed the scandal in a Thursday report, explaining that the mayor and 14 of his senior advisers, appointees, and lawyers created a “Strike Force” group on the application to have sensitive discussions that would otherwise have been accessible to the public through open records requests. Instead, the end-to-end encryption software and its auto-delete feature concealed their communications.

‘Giving the impression that we are doing something we don’t want the public to see.’

Joshua Posner, the mayor’s director of strategic initiatives, sent a text message on January 15 to several administration members instructing them to move their conversations about immigration to Signal, KCNC reported.

Posner wrote, “We are going to use Signal to communicate with Strike Force so that communication remains encrypted and secure (and messages auto delete.)”

He proceeded to explain to the mayor’s team how to download the application to their phones.

Steven Zansberg, a Denver attorney, told KCNC that the actions of the mayor and his administration were “unlawful.”

“It deprives us of the rights we have as Coloradans to observe the conduct of public business,” he stated, noting that three years is the “standard records retention requirement.”

“It seems like a pretty plain, straightforward, deliberate effort to evade transparency,” Zansberg concluded.

Jeff Roberts, director of the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition, also argued that the move undermined that state’s open records law.

“This is not transparent,” Roberts told the news outlet. “They are giving the impression that we are doing something we don’t want the public to see. The city is saying at the get-go, ‘These are records the public should never see.'”

When confronted about the messaging scandal, Johnston’s office blamed President Donald Trump’s administration.

Jordan Fuja, a spokesperson for the mayor, told KCNC, “When President Trump took office in January, it was clear that there would be rapidly developing changes to the way the federal government interacts with cities that could have significant impacts on how Denver operates. The particular group was started in January for internal staff to easily keep track of and share information regarding federal actions that impact Denver under the new administration.”

Fuja argued, “The City retention schedule does not obligate city employees to retain electronic mail messages.”

KCNC reported that the city confirmed Signal messages were set to auto-delete from January 15 to January 29, after which the feature was disabled.

The decision to move the communication to Signal came just weeks after America First Legal requested that Johnston’s administration turn over communications related to immigration issues.

AFL demanded “all records, including communications, calendar entries, and documents mentioning or belonging to Mike Johnston, Mayor since November 1, 2024.”

Most Kansas lawmakers side against the devil, pass resolution denouncing satanists’ ‘Black Mass’

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

The Kansas state House
voted 101-15 on Thursday in support of a resolution denouncing the satanic worship ritual scheduled to take place outside the state Capitol on March 28.

This denunciation, although an important signal to Kansans and the nation, is not law and does not amount to a cancellation of the event. In fact, the satanists still intend to flock to the state grounds and to
flout Democrat Gov. Laura Kelly’s directive to remain outside the Capitol building.

However, the Satanic Grotto’s planned desecration of the Eucharist is now in doubt, given recent indications that the satanists may not actually be in possession of a consecrated host as well as new guidelines adopted for use of the Capitol grounds by the Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council, which would make the unlawful possession of a consecrated host grounds for removal.

It appears, therefore, that the satanists’ planned “Black Mass” might end up being nothing more than insubstantial anti-Catholic theater exemplifying their bigotry and uniting lawmakers from both parties, Christians from various denominations, and even some nonbelievers in affirming the state’s “identity as one nation under God.”

Former Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), who has been involved in the efforts to prevent a real Black Mass from taking place at the state Capitol, told Blaze News that the satanists’ efforts to provoke Catholics and draw attention to themselves may serve as “spiritual kick in the pants to Christians across Kansas,” prompting them to “say, ‘Hey, wait a minute — this our state too.'”

Lawsuit

The Satanic Grotto, a leftist anti-Christian hate group that appears to be little more than an unpolished knockoff of the Massachusetts-based Satanic Temple, received a permit to hold a “Black Mass” at the Kansas Capitol building in Topeka on March 28.

The group’s event listing
states that the group will “dedicate the grounds and our legislature to the glory of Satan” and notes further that members “will be performing rites to the black mass and indulging in sacrilegious blaspheme [sic].”

Michael Stewart, the leader of the anti-Christian hate group,
told KSNT-TV that he would lead the “Black Mass,” noting that he would “heavily lean into the four blasphemies, kind of representing an alternate to the stations of the cross.”

The satanists are expected to break crucifixes, tear up at least one Bible, and mock Catholics’ central sacrament — intended actions Stewart
confirmed in a Wednesday op-ed. A flyer for the event further indicates that as part of their “theuraputic [sic] blesphemy [sic],” the satanists will denounce Christ, desecrate the Eucharist, and corrupt “the Blood.”

‘God takes Satan to court. Satan wins.’

There has been intense backlash, particularly from Catholic groups in the state who were led to believe by self-identified members of the Grotto that the group had stolen a consecrated host and sought to “use its desecration to manifest the link between Satan and the capital [sic] building.”

In addition to social media posts, Chuck Weber, the executive director of the Kansas Catholic Conference — a group that leads public policy advocacy efforts on behalf of the Catholic Bishops of Kansas —
stated in a sworn statement that Stewart told him in a March 8 phone call that he was in possession of one or more consecrated hosts.

In addition to encouraging prayer, inviting the faithful to attended a Eucharistic Holy Hour at a church near the statehouse on March 28, and calling for state officials to cancel the event, the Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City
filed a lawsuit demanding the return of consecrated hosts the satanists suggested they had stolen.

It is the
conviction of the Catholic Church that “at the heart of the Eucharistic celebration are the bread and wine that, by the words of Christ and the invocation of the Holy Spirit, become Christ’s Body and Blood.” The archdiocese noted that given the highest importance of the consecrated host and wine to Catholics, any attempt to “desecrate or attempt to destroy or otherwise harm these items is a grave concern to Archbishop [Joseph] Naumann, the Catholic Church, and countless of the Catholic faithful.”

Archbishop Naumann demanded resolution through a civil jury trial.

The Leavenworth County District Court dismissed the lawsuit Thursday, prompting the Grotto to
state on Facebook, “God takes Satan to court. Satan wins.”

Stewart
told WIBW-TV that the supposed hosts he has in his possession were not obtained by criminal means.

“We didn’t do it,” Stewart said, referring to the allegation that he or his compatriots stole consecrated hosts.

Stewart
suggested to the Oklahoma Voice that his anti-Christian hate group has its own consecration rituals and will mockingly “consecrate” some unleavened wafers purchased online.

“I find it very entertaining that [Archbishop Naumann] is convinced that I have Jesus trapped in a cracker and he would take it to court,” said Stewart.

The Satanic Grotto similarly did not respond to a request for comment from Blaze News. The anti-Christian hate group did, however previously provide this response: “The Satanic Grotto says get f**ked blaze news.”

Voting against the devil

Gov. Kelly appeared reluctant early on to condemn the planned event or acknowledge the Grotto as bigots; however, she indicated on March 12 that in order to “keep the statehouse open and accessible to the public while ensuring all necessary health and safety regulations are enforced,” the group’s anti-Christian demonstration would have to take place outside.

The satanists maintain that they will enter the state Capitol building to perform their dark ritual, even if that means they’ll end up in handcuffs.

The governor’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Huelskamp told Blaze News that like Gov. Kelly’s “really weak” response to the “Black Mass,” the response from the Kansas legislature was also “pretty timid.”

“The general philosophy was, ‘Well, if we ignore evil, it will go away,'” said Huelskamp. “But what I’ve seen in the last couple days — I’ve been in touch with a lot of legislators who are really stepping up, saying, ‘You know what? We need to take a stand on this.’ And they have.”

Kansas
House Resolution 6016 states that the “planned satanic worship ritual is an explicit act of anti-Catholic bigotry and an affront to all Christians. It blasphemes our shared values of faith, decency, and respect that strengthen our communities.”

Those who voted for the resolution affirmed that they denounced “the planned satanic worship ritual scheduled to take place on the grounds of the people’s house, the Kansas state Capitol grounds, on March 28, 2025, as a despicable, blasphemous, and offensive sacrilege to not only Catholics but all people of goodwill, and it runs contrary to the spiritual heritage of this state and nation.”

“We call upon all Kansans to promote unity, mutual respect, and the values that uphold our identity as one nation under God,” added the resolution.

The resolution passed in a bipartisan 101-15 vote.

While some Democrats voted for the resolution, all 15 state legislators who voted against denouncing the satanic ritual were Democrats, namely Reps. Wanda Paige, John Carmichael, Ford Carr, Jo Ella Hoye, Heather Meyer, Silas Miller, Brooklynne Mosley, Melissa Oropeza, Dan Osman, Jarrod Ousley, Susan Ruiz, Alexis Simmons, Lindsay Vaughn, Valdenia Winn, and Rui Xu.

The Kansas Catholic Conference
stated, “We are shocked and appalled that 15 Democrats voted NO,” adding, “Anti-Catholic bigotry is alive and well in Kansas.”

‘It’s the same arguments that the pro-KKK people had in the 1920s.’

Kansas state Rep. Sean Tarwater, a practicing Catholic, said, “What eats at me the most is that I fear for the souls of those that are going to be involved with this Black Mass, and especially for those that are supporting the Black Mass in this room and on that committee,”
reported the Kansas Reflector.

Huelskamp told Blaze News that “we’re still looking for a little more from the legislature,” underscoring that the matter at hand is plainly a battle between good and evil.

Huelskamp, a Catholic with four adopted black children, noted that Kansas has a really proud history of repelling bigots, highlighting the battle that made it the first state in the union to
ban the Ku Klux Klan.

“In the 1920s — 100 years ago — the KKK tried to make a big entrance into Kansas. There was a significant political battle,” said the former congressman. “They refused to recognize the KKK and they kicked them out of the state.”

“All of the arguments of the left on this, on the satanists, it’s the same arguments that the pro-KKK people had in the 1920s. ‘Hey, it’s free speech.’ ‘Let them come in, free to organize.’ Eventually, the State of Kansas — I think the ’24 election — said, ‘No. We will not let the KKK in the state,'” continued Huelskamp. “I mean, at that time, there were rallies of 50,000 Kansans that were KKK supporters demanding recognition by the state.”

“I’m still upset the [Kansas] secretary of state, Scott Schwab, recognized the satanists when he gave them nonprofit status,” said Huelskamp. “We might like to go back and re-examine whether any group, you know, any hate group just receives automatic recognition by the State of Kansas. So 100 years ago, we said the KKK didn’t qualify. So how did the satanists qualify? It’s obviously a hate group in my books.”

Catholics and Christians from other denominations plan to protest the “Black Mass.”

TFP Student Action has, for instance, invited counterprotesters to attend a rosary rally of reparation at the south side of the Kansas state Capitol building at 10:15 a.m. on March 28.

Ted Cruz asks Elon Musk why the left hates him, and his answer is DEAD ON

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

As you’ve probably seen in the headlines, Tesla vehicles and facilities are going up in flames all across the country as radical MAGA-hating leftists try to stick it to Elon Musk for ensuring their tax dollars aren’t being wasted or used for corrupt causes.

What’s perhaps more upsetting is that many Democrats are defending the vandalism and the harassment of Tesla owners, some of whom have been doxxed.

How could anyone in government support what is clearly domestic terrorism?

Elon Musk answered that question beautifully on Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-Texas) podcast “Verdict with Ted Cruz.”

Liz Wheeler plays the clip.

“Why do they hate you so much?” Cruz asked.

“If DOGE was ineffective, if we were not actually getting rid of a bunch of waste and fraud – and a bunch of that fraud, I mean, from what we’re seeing, is overwhelmingly on the left. It’s not zero on the right, but these NGOs are almost all left-wing NGOs that are being funded, for example. So they hate me because DOGE is being effective and DOGE is getting rid of a lot of waste and fraud that people on the left were taking advantage of,” Musk responded.

“The single biggest thing that they’re worried about is that DOGE is going to turn off fraudulent payments of entitlements — I mean everything from Social Security, Medicare, unemployment, disability, small business administration loans — … to illegals. This is the crux of the matter. This is the thing why they really hate my guts and want me to die,” he continued. “By using entitlements fraud, the Democrats have been able to attract and retain vast numbers of illegal immigrants.”

“And buy voters,” Cruz added.

“And buy voters — exactly,” Musk agreed. “They basically bring in, I don’t know, 10-20 million people who are beholden to the Democrats for government handouts and will vote overwhelmingly Democrat.”

“It’s an election strategy,” co-host Ben Ferguson chimed in.

“Yes, and it doesn’t take much to turn the swing states blue,” Musk said.

“Elon Musk is right,” says Liz. “The reason that all this anger and vitriol and violence is being aimed at him is because he is under the direction of President Trump rooting out where the corruption festers.”

Musk is ruining the “Cloward-Piven plan”: “a plan of political warfare to overrun the United States with illegal aliens for the express purpose of taking advantage of our existing infrastructure — whether that be our public school systems or our neighborhoods, our housing supply, our food supply chains, our medical systems, our welfare systems — in order to crash those institutions,” she explains.

“The Cloward-Pivan plan uses illegal aliens as a vanguard to break our institutions here in the United States in order to do what enemies of the United States have always wanted to do: usher in communism.”

Pentagon crushes narrative on ending military’s DEI projects: ‘Here are the facts’

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell posted a video on X explaining what the Department of Defense is doing to get rid of the many diversity, equity, and inclusion programs so that the department can go back to focusing on the nation’s defense.

There have been reports and rumors circulating on social media claiming that names and projects have been unjustly removed for simply being based on a specific race.

“Over the past few weeks, we’ve taken action to identify and archive DEI content from our websites and social media platforms. The previous administration’s zealous and destructive commitment to DEI not only divided our nation and weakened our force, but it also reduced our country’s finest to their immutable characteristics,” Parnell said.

The Army veteran said that while the task is monumental, it is “incredibly important” to ensure that the priorities of President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are carried out.

‘Fake.’

“We enforced an aggressive timeline for our DOD services and agencies to comb through a vast array of content while ensuring our force remains ready and lethal. Every now and then, because of the realities of AI tools and other software, some important content was incorrectly pulled offline to be reviewed,” he continued.

Parnell said that “history is not DEI” and that any content that is incorrectly removed, malicious or not, is quickly restored.

“We are so proud of our nation’s heroes and our heritage. We honor the accomplishments of our warfighters and the content of their character,” Parnell added.

— (@)

The sometimes false claims on social media about the removal of DEI programs have veered into the absurd, so much so that Hegseth himself has corrected the record.

One viral X post from a self-proclaimed Democrat said, “Pete Hegseth removed Colin Powell’s name from a list of notable Americans, buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Hegseth also removed the names of every person of color and every woman on the same list. Only white men were left in place.”

Hegseth responded to the post by simply stating, “Fake,” as no such action took place.

The original post was given a Community Note that said, “No individuals have been removed from the listings of Notable Graves on the Arlington Cemetery website,” and that “Colin Powell is listed in the section ‘Prominent Military Figures.'”

THESE woke leftists are encouraging nationwide Tesla burnings

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

Trump derangement syndrome was bad enough, but now the nation has been hit with a violent case of Elon derangement syndrome. And we mean violent literally — Tesla facilities all over the nation are under terrorist attack from the woke left, and what’s worse is that some Democrats are defending and/or encouraging the behavior (ahem, Tim Walz and Jasmine Crockett).

Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” unpacks the glaring irony of the situation.

“So you have all of these radical environmentalists that like five seconds ago were like, ‘Elon Musk is our god because he provides us with cool electric cars’ … and now they’re literally torching them,” she tells guests Jason Buttrill, Glenn Beck’s chief researcher and security expert, and Jaco Booyens, host of “The Bottom Line.”

“You’ve got these Democrats; they hate DOGE; they can’t stand that all of these taxpayer scams, these money laundering operations, are getting shut down, and Elon Musk is now the guy who’s heading that up, and so they feel like they have to hate him,” she continues.

Sara then points to different people who have been encouraging Tesla burnings, including Jimmy Kimmel, who sarcastically told his audience not to burn Teslas, Rick Wilson of “The Lincoln Project,” who published an article titled “Kill Tesla, Save the Country,” and actor John Cusack, who’s been sharing digital cartoons that suggest Elon is a Nazi and that burning Tesla facilities is a stand for freedom.

On top of that, “journalist Andy Ngo found training materials on how to carry out this Tesla burning terrorist operation, including a pro tip not to use Molotov cocktails,” says Sara.

Another group went so far as doxxing Tesla owners.

“This is total terrorism,” says Sara. “They will burn [Tesla] to the ground because [leftists] didn’t get their way.”

“They do not love America; they love themselves,” says Booyens, noting that this attack on Tesla is no different from the BLM riots or the pro-Hamas protests on college campuses.

Jason calls the Tesla attacks “blind tribalism.”

“They don’t even know what they’re burning Teslas for,” he says.

Barack Obama, whom all of these DOGE-hating, Tesla-burning individuals almost certainly supported, was actually the first one to come up with the idea of a federal department dedicated to efficiency.

Nobody had a problem with tackling government waste when the idea came from the left.

But because “orange man bad,” all the rampant fraud and corruption the DOGE uncovers is suddenly worth defending.

To hear more of the panel’s conversation, watch the clip above.

Let’s build statues for the masked enforcers of COVID tyranny

March 21, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: INVESTIGATIONS, The Blaze

Think about all the statues the woke mob tore down in recent years with the same fury they now reserve for firebombing Teslas. On the fifth anniversary of COVID-19’s medical, legal, and ethical failures, I have a few ideas for heroes worthy of new monuments.

Idaho alone deserves at least two. In September 2020, police arrested Gabe Rench for peacefully singing hymns at a public protest against the city of Moscow’s strict mask mandate. A court later ruled in his favor. Then, in April 2020, officers handcuffed Sara Brady in front of her children for letting them play outside at a park in defiance of a stay-at-home order. She, too, was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing.

We should build statues and monuments to remind future generations of how science and dignity were cast aside for cultish hysteria and blind fear.

It took until 2023 for justice to prevail in both cases, delayed by a swarm of overzealous Karens and Keystone cops who failed to learn from history’s authoritarian follies. Instead, they seemed eager to replicate them.

They deserve statues too — depicted in their masks, rigidly marching six feet apart, blindly enforcing fraudulent “safety” measures. They can stand near Rench and Brady, a permanent reminder of the goose-stepping hysteria that defined the era.

The statues should defy logic, evoking disbelief and confusion. Children will gaze at them, instinctively pitying the absurdity and disgrace of the era they represent.

“How did they let it come to this?” they will ask. And wiser adults of a future age will answer, “Because they were morons, child. Utter morons.”

Todd Erzen, my book editor, envisions a mural in downtown Des Moines capturing his experience in April 2021. That day, he took his young daughter to a small restaurant to pick up a pizza. Inside, diners sat freely eating and chatting without masks. But when Erzen walked in for two minutes to grab his order, the Stasi guard working the cash register insisted that he wear a mask.

When Erzen pointed out the absurdity — customers raw-dogging the air all around him for an entire meal were somehow “safe,” yet his brief presence required a hazmat-level response — the restaurant workers refused to give him the pizza. Then they called the cops.

Erzen hopes the mural will provoke a question from future generations: If someone truly feared infection, why would they prolong an argument with a supposed biohazard instead of simply handing him his pizza and ending the interaction as quickly as possible?

The mural would be called “Trust the experts!”

Not so fast, proclaims the New York Times. This week, the paper ran an op-ed with a breathtaking lack of self-awareness, headlined “We Were Badly Misled About the Event That Changed Our Lives.” What in the name of Wuhan is that nonsense? Misled by whom? Where was that level of skepticism when Joe Biden declared COVID-19 a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”? Where was it when Sweden stayed open and defied predictions of mass death and disaster? Or when ivermectin — a Nobel Prize-winning treatment — was suddenly banned overnight, nearly costing my friend Bill Salier his life?

Yes, we should build statues and monuments to remind future generations of how science and dignity were cast aside for cultish hysteria and blind fear. Let them see a grand sculpture of Salier, measuring out “horse medicine” in a desperate bid to save himself, while a smug pharmacist and the likes of Terry Bradshaw mocked him.

Our monuments to the scamdemic should be as absurd as the reality they reflect — a cause for both mockery and lamentation. They should remind us of a similarly stiff-necked people who once worshipped a golden calf instead of the one true God and thus help us vow to do a much better job teaching future generations to smash their idols instead of allowing them to be brought to us by Pfizer.
