WATCH: Trump announces cutting-edge investment plans
‘He’d be terrible’: Tim Walz thinking about 2028 presidential run, and Dem strategist shoots it down
Former Democratic strategist Dan Turrentine on Monday immediately dismissed the possibility of Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz being a formidable 2028 presidential candidate.
Walz told the New Yorker in an interview published on Sunday that he would run in 2028 if the conditions and his “skill set” were right. When journalist Mark Halperin asked Turrentine on “The Morning Meeting” whether he was “super psyched” regarding a potential Walz 2028 presidential run, the former Democratic strategist promptly said he was not, basing his opinion on the Minnesota governor’s 2024 vice presidential run that crashed and burned.
WATCH:
“I think, just my own opinion, he’d be terrible. I mean, what he showed on the campaign trail was that he was kind of weak,” Turrentine said. “He is very liberal and he’s gonna have to defend the Biden-Harris ticket that he served on … I just think there’s nothing that I have seen from him, or that I saw from him, that would augment that you would be a strong national candidate.”
The governor received criticism during the 2024 campaign for several of the far-left initiatives he has supported, including signing legislation in 2023 that requires schools to provide tampons in both girls’ and boys’ restrooms, which led to Trump and others calling him “Tampon Tim.”
“Walz doesn’t strike me as a guy who’s gonna blaze that trail to defining real change,” he added. “That doesn’t seem to be his strong suit. And his governing record in Minnesota is not something I could see the party rallying around.”
The governor also repeatedly made inaccurate claims about his past during his unsuccessful vice presidential campaign.
Walz revealed during a Wednesday podcast that he regrets spending several days of the 2024 campaign focusing on President Donald Trump’s remarks about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio.
“I will kick myself that I got sucked in. I bet you I spent three or four days, maybe longer, not clowning, but just hammering them over the eating dogs and cats because it was so ridiculous,” Walz said. “And I took that hook, line and sinker. We were talking about immigration at a critical part of the campaign. And it was hurtful. And it pissed me off. And I was standing there to defend people. And it didn’t do a damn bit of good electorally.”
When Halperin earlier asked former White House press secretary Sean Spicer if the “prospect of a Walz presidential candidate strike[s] fear in [his] heart,” Spicer responded, “Just tell me where to send the check. I’m on Team Walz.”

There IS a constitutional crisis, and it was created by this judge, report charges
Democrats since before President Donald Trump was elected a second time have claimed that his very presence in the presidential race was a constitutional crisis.
After all, their talking points portrayed him as a “Hitler” who was setting himself up for a lifetime tenancy in the White House, how he would be a “dictator,” how he would destroy “democracy.”
Then after he took office their rhetoric ratcheted up, as he was doing things that the Constitution allows the president to do, but they didn’t like, like cracking down on illegal alien criminals, the flow of illegal drugs into America, the rampant waste fraud and corruption in the federal government.
Now, there is a real constitutional crisis, according to a new report in the Federalist, but it’s not because of something Trump did; it’s because of what a judge did in response to Trump’s Constitution-authorized management of the executive branch.
It was Judge Amy Jackson, one of Barack Obama’s choices for the federal bench, who ordered multiple individuals in the executive branch to “recognize” Hampton Dellinger as “Special Counsel of the Office of Special Counsel” and not “obstruct” his job.
It sets up the possibility of a constitutional crisis because Trump, in ordering Dellinger dismissed, was within the authorities the Constitution grants him, the report said.
“Consider the scenario: Donald Trump calls Hampton Dellinger, telling him ‘I’m firing you again.’ The president then directs other officials — not the named defendants — to process Dellinger’s termination papers, to prevent Dellinger’s access to federal property or his former office, and to disconnect Dellinger’s cell phone and computer access,” the report explained.
“As Judge Berman Jackson recognized in her accompanying 67-page opinion, federal courts lack the power to enjoin the president of the United States. So, the Obama appointee could not — and thus did not — order Trump to recognize Dellinger as the special counsel, enjoin him from firing Dellinger again, or otherwise prohibit Trump from doing anything to obstruct or interfere in Dellinger’s performance of his duties. Instead, she entered that command against the five defendants in the case.”
Her orders are for five people only, so that means “Trump could easily sidestep them to out Dellinger as the special counsel.”
The report noted that’s unlikely to happen as the Supreme Court is expected to step in.
“But the fact that scenario could play out, launching a revolving door of new defendants ordered by a federal judge to ignore the staffing decisions of the president of the United States, reveals the danger that efforts over the last month to obtain a coup by court order represents to our constitutional republic,” the report said.
The facts are that Article II of the Constitution gives the president executive power.
“American voters elected Donald Trump president, giving him the executive power and the authority to delegate it, or not delegate it, as he believes appropriate. The Constitution provides some checks to that authority, for instance by requiring ‘the Advice and Consent of the Senate’ for certain appointments, such as ‘Officers of the United States.’ In contrast, Article II’s silence concerning removal, ‘confers upon the President an absolute and unqualified removal authority.’”
Jackson claimed Trump couldn’t remove Dellinger because Congress allocated to him a five-year term.
But the Supreme Court previously has ruled that such congressional provisions cannot violate the actual words of the Constitution, in multiple previous cases.
In fact, the report said, Joe Biden in 2021 fired the head of the Social Security Administration without cause.
Two members of the Supreme Court already have pointed out that it’s interference in the president’s command of the executive branch for a judge to order the administration to recognize and work with someone who was fired.
Trump’s lawyers already have argued that the order “manifestly violates the Constitution.”
The report explains that Jackson’s orders “represent a clear and intolerable interference in the president’s executive authority.”
‘Reprehensible’: Democrats turn into thought police against Republican lawmaker
Democrat lawmakers in a state legislature have turned into thought police, issuing a formal censure against a Republican representative who expressed her opinion regarding allowing men to participate in women’s sports events.
The report on what happened to Rep. Laurel D. Libby, a Republican in Maine’s House of Representatives, has been documented by the Washington Stand.
The action, a formal censure and ban on letting her speak because of what the Democrats wildly claimed was a lack of “good moral character,” is supposed to be in place until she “apologizes.”
The fight is one that’s going on across the country, as leftists promoting what Joe Biden held as one of his standards for his presidency, a promotion of the LGBT lifestyle choice, continue to fight for their ideology in the wake of President Donald Trump’s announcement that the government now recognizes two sexes, male and female.
The vote for Libby’s punishment was 75-70 along party lines.
Democrats claimed, ‘The House finds the conduct of Representative Laurel D. Libby to be reprehensible and in direct violation of our code of ethics.”
Libby’s opinions enraged Democrats when she wrote on social media about a male who won the state’s girl’s class B championship in pole vault.
Her comments included that one year earlier, “John tied for 5th place in boys pole vault. Tonight, ‘Katie’ won 1st place in the girls’ Maine State Class B Championship.”
Libby told the Washington Watch program that she was silenced for speaking up for girls who were “displaced from the top of the podium by a biological male.”
She declined orders from House Speaker Ryan Fecteau, a Democrat, to take down the post that has been viewed well beyond 100,000 times, so the party attacked her with a resolution, with the attempt at political manipulation clear.
“If Rep. Libby had posted the same picture, the same name with sentiments of congratulations, would we be here doing the censure right now? I think we know the answer to that,” explained Rep. Jennifer Poirier, a Republican.
Libby was cut off from even defending her statement as Democrats continually interrupted.
And the move even destroyed the impact of a censure in the state, Republicans warned.
“This censure motion makes a mockery of the censure process,” House Minority Leader Billy Bob Faulkingham said, explaining nothing in the code of ethics allows the legislature to censure a lawmaker over online speech.
The report explained, “The chamber’s actions against Libby conform to the Democratic Party’s plans to overturn elections by stripping Republican elected officials such as Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) of their committee assignments, threatening to expel conservatives from Congress, or attempting to bar President Donald Trump from running for president by branding him an ‘insurrectionist’ ineligible for office under the 14th Amendment.”
The report noted Alleigh Marré, executive director of American Parents Coalition, praised Libby.
“Parents across Maine — and the country — are fed up with being ignored while their daughters are forced to compete against biological males. The Maine Principals’ Association’s decision isn’t just unfair; it’s an affront to every parent who expects their child to have a level playing field and is at odds with President Trump’s executive order protecting girls’ sports,” Marré told the Washington Stand.
Libby then urged President Trump to move to ensure that female athletes in Maine can once again compete on a level playing field, preserving the integrity of women’s sports,
It was, of course, Maine’s governor, Janet Mills, who endangered her state’s federal funding by publicly defying Trump’s executive order called, “No Men in Women’s Sports.”
And there’s a federal investigation of the state for Title IX violations.
Vast majorities of Americans say men who say they are women should not be allowed in women’s sports.
‘Absolutely shameful’: Watch U.S. senator accuse President Trump of being an ‘arm of the Kremlin’
Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy publicly has accused President Donald Trump’s “special government employee” Elon Musk, charged with running fraud, waste and corruption down and removing it from government spending through the Department of Government Efficiency, of doing “heil Hitler” salutes at a Trump rally.
Murphy is among countless Democrats and other leftist ideologues who have slammed Trump and his associates with such imagery for years already.
But that apparently wasn’t working well enough for him, and now he’s accusing the president of being an arm of the Kremlin.
In a recent interview, Murphy claimed:
It is absolutely shameful what is happening right now. The White House has become an arm of the Kremlin. Every single day you hear from the national security adviser, from the president of the United States, from his entire national security team, Kremlin talking points.”
He was referencing attempts by Trump and his administration to develop a plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
“For the last week, the White House has been pretending as if Ukraine started this war. That’s essentially saying that Poland invaded Germany at the beginning of World War II. There are still facts in this world and the fact is this Vladimir Putin is a brutal dictator. Russia started this war, and the entire pretext for that meeting yesterday was an attempt to rewrite history in order to sign a deal with Putin that hands Putin Ukraine,” Murphy said.
And he said, “That is disastrous for U.S. national security. That means that China will be on the march. Putin may not stop. America may be at war with a nuclear power. And for what? For what? It appears as if America is trying to align itself with dictators that Donald Trump wants us to have our closest relationships with despots all around the world because that makes it easier for him to transition America into a kleptocratic oligarchy where Elon Musk and Donald Trump rule and steal from the American people.”
A report at RedState noted the senator’s “late-stage” Trump Derangement Syndrome was getting worse.
The report noted Murphy’s appearance on CNN to share “his delusional thoughts with equally-TDS-riddled host Dana Bash.”

‘We cannot allow this scourge’: Auto giant moving production of one of its top-selling cars to U.S. amid Trump tariff threats
Honda intends to move production of one of its best-selling car models to the U.S. from Mexico in an attempt to avoid potential tariffs, Reuters reported on Monday.
The major automaker decided to shift production of its next-generation Civic hybrid car to Indiana, three anonymous sources told Reuters. The news comes after President Donald Trump on Feb. 1 imposed 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico alongside 10% tariffs on imported goods from China in an attempt to stop deadly drugs and illegal migrants coming into the U.S. from the countries.
When announcing the tariffs, the White House wrote that Trump was “taking bold action to hold Mexico, Canada and China accountable to their promises of halting illegal immigration and stopping poisonous fentanyl and other drugs from flowing into our country.”
Ultimately, Trump agreed to temporarily pause the implementation of new tariffs on Mexico and Canada after the Mexican government promised to send thousands of troops to boost security at the U.S.-Mexico border and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed to secure the northern border.
Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Thursday that illicit drugs were still flowing into the U.S. at “unacceptable levels,” and that he would resume imposing the 25% tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico on March 4. The president also added that he plans to double the 10% tariffs on Chinese imports the same day.
“Drugs are still pouring into our Country from Mexico and Canada at very high and unacceptable levels,” Trump wrote in the social media post. “A large percentage of these Drugs, much of them in the form of Fentanyl, are made in, and supplied by, China. More than 100,000 people died last year due to the distribution of these dangerous and highly addictive POISONS. Millions of people have died over the last two decades. The families of the victims are devastated and, in many instances, virtually destroyed. We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the USA, and therefore, until it stops, or is seriously limited, the proposed TARIFFS scheduled to go into effect on MARCH FOURTH will, indeed, go into effect, as scheduled. China will likewise be charged an additional 10% Tariff on that date. The April Second Reciprocal Tariff date will remain in full force and effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
Ahead of Trump’s recent return to the White House, there were a growing number of reports of U.S.-based companies gearing up to shift their production out of foreign countries such as China in anticipation of the incoming Trump administration implementing new tariffs. Notably, Trump signaled on Feb. 19 that reaching a trade deal with Beijing was “possible.”

‘Like it or leave’: Watch as major U.S. grocery chain has customer arrested for protesting terror symbol
A major American grocery chain, Kroger, has had a customer arrested for protesting a terror symbol it allowed an employee to wear while on the job.
The report comes from the RAIR Foundation, which documented the concerns expressed by Jewish journalist Sloan Rachmuth over the threat she perceived at a Kroger subsidiary Harris Tweeter store in North Carolina, and how the corporation responded by claiming her decision to post her concerns on social media turned into a crime.
@Kroger @HarrisTeeter pro-Islamist, anti-Jewish policy#NorthCarolina police pro-Islamist, anti-Jewish policy
This is the UK’s anti-free speech #lawfare and intimidation program against its citizens. Socialist, authoritarian and fascist.

A video of Rachmuth being told by police that something she said upset someone else, so she was being arrested.
Amy Mek, of the RAIR Foundation, explained Rachmuth was “politically targeted, humiliated, and silenced for daring to object to a U.S. grocery store employee wearing an Islamic terror symbol – exposing a shocking case of corporate complicity, police overreach, and state-enforced antisemitism.”
Mek reported the situation developed in Holly Springs, N.C., where Rachmuth was arrested at her home in front of her terrified children.
“Her alleged crime? According to Rachmuth, she objected to a supermarket employee at Harris Teeter wearing the controversial keffiyeh, a political symbol widely associated with Hamas and its ambitions to destroy Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. Rachmuth, an outspoken advocate against antisemitism and a contributor to national media outlets on Middle Eastern affairs, explained to RAIR Foundation in an exclusive interview that she was handcuffed, marched through her neighborhood, and charged with cyberstalking, posting about the troubling incident online,” the report said.
The arrest, she said, was based on “an unverified accusation,” suggesting “law enforcement’s complicity,” the report said.
Rachmuth first had notified the store manager of the violation of the company’s corporate attire policy, then corporate headquarters.
“Indeed, Harris Teeter allowed an employee to wear a threatening symbol of Islamic and Palestinian terrorism, visibly wrapping it around her head while working with customers,” Mek reported.
When Rachmuth asked the employee, identified in the report as Amira M. Fattah, about the symbol, Fattah charged, “It’s for a Free Palestine,” confirming “she wore the keffiyeh as a political statement rather than for religious reasons.”
Rachmuth’s concerns to the store manager, Sheronna Irick, prompted a scolding to, “Like it or leave.”
She then contacted the store chain’s headquarters and posted documentation of the encounter on X.
Then workers at the store called police.
“According to arrest records and law enforcement, store manager Sheronna Irick played a pivotal role in facilitating this retaliation,” the report said.
It was Holly Springs police officers Elliott Warren, Benjamin Marino, and Edgar Hernandez who then pounded on Rachmuth’s door and arrested her.
Marino told her, “Something you did made her uncomfortable, all right?”
The charges were dropped a day later by Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman, a Democrat.
The report warned, “The case raises serious questions about lawfare and the use of activist law enforcement to target political dissenters.”
