‘Turning predator’: Canadian political candidate wants to build a nuclear-armed coalition to target U.S.

Amid the turmoil going on in Canada’s government now, with the coming departure of Justice Trudeau from its leadership ranks, analysts have suggested that globetrotting banker Mark Carney has a path to replacing him.

But a candidate who right now is considered an also-ran has made a stunning demand that Canada work with nuclear-equipped allies to create a “a closer security relationship that guarantees our security in a time when United States can be a threat.”

The comments are from Chrystia Freeland, who said, “The U.S. is turning predator, and so what Canada needs to do is work closely with our democratic allies, our military allies. I would start with our Nordic partners, specifically Denmark who is also being threatened, and our NATO European allies. I would be sure that France and Britian were there who possess NUCLEAR WEAPONS and I will be working urgently with these partners to build a closer security relationship that guarantees our security in a time when United States can be a threat.”

Editor’s Note: Be aware of offensive language in social media post:

Has Chrystia Freeland lost her f’ing mind?!?

Polling shows Carney is the favorite to take over Liberal party leadership, with Freeland trailing.

President Donald Trump repeatedly has suggested that Canada should be America’s 51st state, while Trudeau has publicly resisted, saying Trump cannot take his country.

‘Blatant dishonesty’: Trump to take serious action against authors, publishers, media over anonymous, off-the-record quotes

In a Wednesday morning social media posting spree, President Donald Trump vowed to sue “dishonest” authors, book publishers and media for their use of anonymous and off-the-record quotes he believes are fake.

Trump said on Truth Social: “As a President who is being given credit for having the Best Opening Month of any President in history, quite naturally, here come the Fake books and stories with the so-called ‘anonymous,’ or ‘off the record,’ quotes.

“At some point I am going to sue some of these dishonest authors and book publishers, or even media in general, to find out whether or not these ‘anonymous sources’ even exist, which they largely do not.

“They are made up, defamatory fiction, and a big price should be paid for this blatant dishonesty. I’ll do it as a service to our Country. Who knows, maybe we will create some NICE NEW LAW!!!”

Trump also took aim at the Wall Street Journal.

“I don’t understand The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, never have,” he began.

“They come to my aid when I least expect it, sometimes strongly, and I greatly appreciate that — Very meaningful! But then they come out with some real CLINKERS, like today’s Editorial that my Auto Tariffs will hurt the Michigan Automobile Business. They are sooo WRONG, in fact, it is just the opposite.

“The tariffs will drive massive amounts of auto manufacturing to MICHIGAN, a State which I just easily one in the Presidential Election. They have already stopped numerous new auto plants from being built in other countries, a GIGANTIC WIN (already!)

“FOR MICHIGAN, and the United States as a whole. Just let it all happen, and watch, it won’t be even close! AMERICAN industry will thrive, and we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

The president also posted brief comments on other issues.

“I hope the House and Senate are able to agree on making the Tax Cuts PERMANENT!”

“ALL CABINET MEMBERS ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH ELON. The Media will see that at the Cabinet Meeting this morning!!!”

He even commented on Tuesday’s near miss of a Southwest Airlines flight almost colliding with an executive jet at Chicago Midway Airport.

Southwest Flight WN2504 had a near-miss incident at Chicago Midway today when FlexJet Flight LXJ560 crossed Runway 31C.

“GREAT JOB BY THE SOUTHWEST PILOTS IN CHICAGO,” Trump said in all capital letters.

“A NEARLY TRAGIC CLOSE CALL. PERHAPS SUSPEND THE PILOTS LICENSE OF THE OTHER PLANE, WHO MUST HAVE BEEN ‘SLEEPING!’”

Is the news we hear every day actually broadcasting messages from God? The answer is an absolute yes! Find out how!

‘It’s batsh*t crazy’: Mark Halperin teams up with corporate media reporter to rip industry’s liberal bias

February 26, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: THE NEWS, WND

S""

Journalist Mark Halperin joined Axios’ Trump White House reporter Marc Caputo on Tuesday in criticizing what they described as the media’s left-wing bias.

Caputo, on Halperin’s “2WAY TONIGHT,” said former President Joe Biden’s former White House press secretary Jen Psaki joining MSNBC after leaving her government role exemplified the “utterly broken” nature of modern corporate media. Halperin agreed, adding other examples of the media being biased in favor of Democrats.

WATCH:

“Jen Psaki’s hiring by MSNBC was one of the many examples of how utterly broken the Acela media industrial complex is,” Caputo said. “For the first time in United States history, a sitting president seeking reelection had his press secretary go and work for a major media enterprise and anchor a show. And no one f***ing said anything about how irregular, how newsworthy, how out of line that was.”

“And we have hundreds — I’ve seen scores — of media writers … these people couldn’t lift a finger to type a letter about how out of line, how irregular that was and what it represented,” he continued. “So when we come to our current moment, Jen Psaki, MSNBC represents a very particular inflection point, as does the Biden presidency, in the way in which the press covered it, that leads us to where we are today.”

Halperin responded “Amen, brother” before underscoring Caputo’s criticism of media writers.

“Of all the examples of liberal media bias denied by the people who run the big organizations, of all the examples, perhaps the most egregious is they hire media writers who are far, far left — as if they’re covering the media fairly,” Halperin said. “If you’re going to have a media writer whose job it is to hold the media account, you cannot hire people who hate Donald Trump. And their coverage isn’t subtle.”

“It’s not like some of the New York Times coverage, for instance, where within the crevices of the paragraphs, you can see they’re biased against Trump,” he continued. “They are full-on resistance writers, and that’s why they write negative things about Mark Caputo, and me, and why they did not touch this Jen Psaki story.”

Halperin also criticized media reporters for not covering Biden’s mental decline.

“It’s batsh*t crazy for these organizations, who claim to be serious news organizations, to have as their media reporters leading members of the resistance — unapologetic and explicit — who, to this day, have not written about Joe Biden, the lack of coverage of Joe Biden’s loss of mental acuity — to this day, they have not written about the biggest media story of all time,” he said. “And instead, they’re writing about [White House deputy chief of staff for policy] Stephen Miller’s demeanor in a cable news hit.”

Halperin further accused left-wing reporters of not reporting on the corporate media allegedly blacklisting Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Democratic Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips in the aftermath of each of them launching campaigns against Biden for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in 2024.

“And they will put [Democratic California Rep.] Adam Schiff on, whose public failures of credibility are more pronounced than Dean Phillips’. And in terms of implications, I would say you could argue comparable to Bobby Kennedy’s,” he said. “It’s insane that they didn’t put them on, but it’s more insane that people whose job it is to write about the press and hold the press accountable didn’t write a word about it.”

WATCH: Congressman asks if U.S. marshals could haul Trump to jail for ‘contempt’

Democratic Rep. Hank Johnson of Georgia asked a federal judge Tuesday if U.S. Marshals could haul President Donald Trump to jail for “contempt” for any legal cases that pertain to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Circuit Judge Timothy Tymkovich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit testified Tuesday at a hearing held by the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet. Tymkovich discussed a shortage of judgeships on the federal bench before Johnson asked about the marshals.

“If a president willfully failed or refused to comply with a court ruling, they could be held in contempt of court theoretically, but it would be up to the U.S. Marshals Service, which is a part of the Justice Department, to be the enforcement arm for the federal courts. Is that correct?” Johnson asked.

WATCH:

“Your hypothetical would have to play itself out,” Tymkovich said.

Since President Donald Trump established DOGE by rebranding the United States Digital Service in a Jan. 20 executive order, the agency has faced legal challenges from government employee unions and Democratic state attorneys general.

“It would be the U.S. Marshals, who fall under the Department of Justice, who would have to carry out the contempt order,” Johnson said. “And so what would happen if the U.S. Marshals Service, under the command of the Justice Department, at the direction of the president, refused to carry out a court order of contempt? What — what would then be the state of our democracy?”

“Again, I’m here on behalf of the judicial conference to talk about the shortage of judges that we have, and I would comment on those needs in particular,” Tymkovich said.

Johnson previously asked if the deployment of additional military personnel to Guam would cause the island to capsize. He also claimed that classified documents were planted in the house of then-President Joe Biden.

‘Perverse incentive’: Ex-Dem congressman publicly names ringleader in Biden cover-up

Former Democratic Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips called ex-Biden adviser Mike Donilon one of the “ring leaders” attempting to keep former President Joe Biden in the 2024 race, warning that people like him are only concerned with “self-preservation.”

Before Biden dropped out of the 2024 race in July of that year, Democrats supported the former president, attempting to dismiss concerns from Republicans about his mental fitness. During an interview with Harvard’s Institute of Politics on Feb. 13, Donilon said the party had “lost its mind” over Biden’s disastrous debate performance, adding that sometimes people simply have “terrible debates.”

On “The Ingraham Angle,” guest host Kayleigh McEnany asked the former Democratic representative if Biden would “have prevailed” if he had stayed in the race.

“Now Kayleigh, Mr. Donilon, with all due respect, was one of the ring leaders of the cover-up,” Phillips said. “You know that wasn’t just a bad debate. That was a symptom of a president who was reaching the end of his first term not on solid footing and was not going to win that race no matter what and surely could not serve another four years.”

WATCH:

Before Biden took the debate stage against President Donald Trump on June 27, advisers to the former president touted his policies and what they said was his mental fitness. Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to downplay concerns, accusing Republicans of creating a negative narrative and dismissing videos of Biden appearing confused or stumbling over his words as “cheap fakes.”

However, after Biden was seen struggling to finish his statement and freezing mid-sentence during the debate with Trump, lawmakers, donors, and pundits called for Biden to end his campaign.

“Mr. Donilon knows that, but we have this really perverse incentive in Washington D.C. on both sides of the aisle to protect and preserve your proximity to power,” Phillips said. “I’m afraid Mr. Donilon, like so many others on your show, and on all the evening cable shows, say the same thing months down the road and forget where they were when the real issues happened.”

“I’m afraid he’s just one of them, and that’s the problem,” Phillips said.  “People more concerned about their self-preservation than their principles. Yeah, power is intoxicating. We see it all too much in Washington.”

Since Trump’s win, which cost Democrats their stronghold on key voting blocs, the party has struggled to unify behind a single message as the midterm elections approach. Major party donors are reportedly pausing donations to left-wing activist groups due to the party’s failures, causing many to struggle for cash, according to the New York Times.

‘No more tunnels, no more fear’: Watch Trump video envisioning Gaza paradise

(THE HILL) — President Trump on Tuesday evening shared a video using artificial intelligence (AI) that showcases his proposals for the potential development of the war-torn Gaza Strip, complete with a golden statue of his likeness and beachfront skyscrapers rising from the rubble.

The 33-second video, which the president shared on Truth Social, starts with a shot of the city in ruins after the Israeli military’s 15-month bombardment campaign. Text on the screen then reads “Gaza 2025 — What’s next.”

State copies Trump’s federal DOGE force, creates its own efficiency panel

President Donald Trump and his executive branch Department of Government Efficiency, run by billionaire Elon Musk, are working to save American taxpayers perhaps up to a trillion dollars.

Already, estimates are that $65 billion has been cut from federal spending.

Now states are getting in the act.

Although they don’t deal with trillions of dollars, savings of millions, hundreds of millions, even billions, will impact taxpayers significantly.

Just the News documents how Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced his state’s version, the State Department of Governmental Efficiency Task Force.

“Florida has set the standard for fiscally conservative governance, and our new Florida DOGE task force will do even more to serve the people of Florida,” DeSantis explained. “It will eliminate redundant boards and commissions, review state university and college operations and spending, utilize artificial intelligence to further examine state agencies to uncover hidden waste, and even audit the spending habits of local entities to shine the light on waste and bloat.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

It’s actually not an entirely new concept in the state, as it has “eliminated dozens of unnecessary boards and lifted needless regulations,” already saved billions for residents, and paid down 41% of state debt while boosting rainy day funding by more than $9 billlion – all since DeSantis took office in 2019.

The state said the new task force will use a variety of methods to target and eliminate bureaucratic bloat, including artificial intelligence.

Its goals include eliminating another 70 boards and commissions, taking a deep dive into “all facets of college and university operations and spending,” and look at local government spending.

“Florida will utilize AI to supplement ongoing efforts to review operations at our state agencies and identify more ways to cut unnecessary spending and eliminate bureaucracy,” the report said.
