Video has emerged of a woman not only admitting she hasn’t paid taxes in eight years, but also openly calling for the assassination of Elon Musk, President Donald Trump’s head of DOGE, the Department of Governmental Efficiency.
The profanity-filled message, originally posted by LibsofTikTok, shows the woman making a beheading gesture saying: “Elon Musk, we need to X him. And by X, I mean formerly known as assassination.”
At one point the woman taunts federal law enforcement, stating: “You don’t have enough people to investigate me at this point. I haven’t filed my taxes in like eight years. And yet, no one’s come for me.
“So I’m gonna f***ing say it. Let’s assassinate some mother******s.”
Elon Musk became aware of the video, and posted: “Death threat and admission of multiple counts of tax fraud @EagleEdMartin.”
Musk’s tag to Ed Martin sent the clip to U.S. Attorney Ed Martin in the District of Columbia, who reposted the clip along with the message: “Duly noted. Thx for letting us know. We’ll put you in the system. Talk soon, M’am. #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw.”

Some online reaction includes:
“Why openly admit to a crime while committing one at the same time?”
“Are you guys actually gonna arrest these people though? … Can we pick up the pace here?”
“She is so stupid she thinks if she simply gestures &whispers that she can get away with calling for m@rder? 8 years no filed taxes? You got a Big surprise headed your way! Not to mention all of the accrued interest you will have to pay since you readily acknowledge no compliance. Good luck in jail.”

Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass seemingly edited press conference livestreams shared on her Facebook page to remove portions of Q&A sessions where reporters asked her tough questions about the city’s wildfire response.
The mayor has come under intense backlash for her overall handling of the wildfires in early January that burned over 57,000 acres and killed 29 people. Bass’ own Facebook account appears to have edited out clips showing reporters’ hard-hitting questions about the city’s response to the destructive fires, which could be found on the County of Los Angeles’ account.
During a Jan. 9 press conference, a reporter can be heard asking Bass about her response to those calling on her to step down on a video posted to the County of Los Angeles’ Facebook account. On the video shared to the mayor’s Facebook page, that exchange is not included.
“And let me just say, because I’ve answered some questions like that in the morning and let me just state now. Number one, these fires are burning now. Our job is to make sure that people stay alive, that we save lives, that we save homes, that we save property and I also said when the fires are out, we will do a deep dive. We will look at what worked, we will look at what didn’t work and we will let you know. Until then, my focus is on the TV screens behind you that are showing devastation that has continued. Thank you, answered it in the morning, answered it now, won’t answer it again,” Bass said in the County of Los Angeles’ livestream.
WATCH:
Bass’ Facebook page cut out the Q&A period almost entirely, focusing solely on several politicians and Los Angeles officials giving statements on the fires. At the end of the video, a reporter can be heard asking the mayor about ways to combat the fires, though his question got cut off from the livestream before Bass began to answer.

The Q&A portions of press conferences held on Jan. 8 and Jan. 10 were also removed from the videos uploaded to Bass’ account.

The full Q&A sessions from the press conferences can be found in the videos uploaded to the county’s Facebook page. During the Jan. 8 press conference, Bass received questions regarding the lack of water present in the fire hydrants, her travel to Africa and resources available to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
The Los Angeles mayor came under scrutiny for traveling internationally to attend the inauguration of Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama as the fires raged across her city. She refused to answer questions on whether she owed her constituents an apology after being pressed by Sky News reporter David Blevins.
During her mayoral campaign, Bass insisted in an interview with The New York Times that she would not travel abroad while in office. She later told Fox 11’s Elex Michaelson during an interview released Tuesday that her trip, along with all aspects of responding to the fires, are being internally and externally investigated.

Bass received a few questions about the flawed alert systems and about earning back the trust of the American people. The reporters’ confronted the mayor over the widespread panic that spread throughout Los Angeles as millions of residents received false alarms ordering them to evacuate their homes.
“What are you doing at this point to earn back people’s trust and to make sure these mistakes don’t happen again?” a CBS News reporter asked.
“Well first of all I think these questions were addressed … so let me just be clear, I’m gonna spend every moment that I can making sure that I am in as many areas as possible, meeting and talking to residents to see what is needed in the recovery,” Bass said, according to the county’s video. “But I also want to mention that we are moving into recovery mode at the same time, meaning that we want to see the city rebuilt, we want to see Los Angeles come together.”
WATCH:
Bass’ account posted the Q&A section of her Friday news conference where she addressed the firing of former Fire Chief Kristen Crowley, who became increasingly unpopular for her handling of the wildfires. The former chief staunchly supported diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and an internal “racial equity plan,” which states that the agency is a stronger organization for focusing on the physical characteristics of its personnel.

Several fire hydrants ran dry as the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and fire department officials attempted to combat the flames that destroyed thousands of homes, neighborhoods and communities in the area. An analysis from OpenTheBooks, a government transparency organization, found that Los Angeles lacked the budget to sufficiently fund fire hydrants across the area despite LADWP officials receiving substantial taxpayer-funded salaries.
Bass’ approval ratings have declined significantly since the wildfires, with 43% of likely voters stating that they would consider voting for a Republican, according to a Madison McQueen poll from Jan. 27. The survey found that 37% of respondents approved of Bass’ handling of the wildfires, while 54% of Los Angelenos expressed disapproval.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom is currently asking the federal government to approve nearly $40 billion in aid to help recover Los Angeles from the devastation of the fires. While former President Joe Biden was still in office, Newsom asked the then-president to handle so-called “misinformation” about his state’s response to the wildfires as Californians were left homeless.
Bass’ office did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

There were a number of topics that members of Congress wanted to investigate while Joe Biden was in the White House.
For example, the FBI agents who were installed in the protest-turned-riot on Jan. 6, 2021. And the decision to label traditional Catholics as “violent extremists.” And the collusion between the Biden-Harris administration and Big Tech to suppress America’s First Amendment speech rights.
Then-FBI chief Christopher Wray simply declined to produce the documents that were needed.
But Wray is gone, Kash Patel is the new FBI chief and Rep. Jim Jordan now is asking him to move those investigations forward.
In a letter to Patel, Jordan, R-Ohio and the chief of the House Judiciary Committee, asked for help in conducting “oversight into misconduct of the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the Biden administration.”
One of the topics is the Biden administration’s “insertion” of federal agents into local school-board meetings.
“On October 4, 2021, then-Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memorandum to then-FBI Director Wray on the subject of ‘Partnership Among Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Law Enforcement to Address Threats Against School Administrators, Board Members, Teachers, and Staff,’ directing federal law enforcement resources to address a purported increase in school board-related threats.”
The FBI then created a “special threat tag” to use in those “investigations.”
But Congress, in asking for documentation of that agenda, got only “only a limited subset of internal communications regarding how the Justice Department could address purported threats at local school board meetings and made available to the committee in camera additional documents regarding cases opened using the special threat tag.”
But Jordan noted the FBI “should possess additional responsive documents and communications referring or relating to the EDUOFFICIALS threat tag—including internal documents and communications regarding investigations categorized under the threat tag.”
Then there was the FBI’s labeling of Catholics as “violent extremists,” which resulted in agents being “inserted” into places of worship.
The FBI’s response to that inquiry was “insufficient, ultimately leading the committee to issue a subpoena to the FBI for the requested documents and information on April 10, 2023.”

Even so, the committee believes the FBI has additional information that would be useful in an investigation.
The censorship scheme also saw questions left unanswered.
“During the 118th Congress, the Committee conducted extensive oversight of how and to what extent the executive branch coerced and colluded with technology companies and other entities to censor speech. The committee’s investigation, public reporting, and publicized discovery in an ongoing federal court case, Missouri v. Biden, revealed how the federal government, including the FBI, pressured and colluded with Facebook and other Big Tech entities to censor certain viewpoints in ways that undermined First Amendment principles.”
The letter cited the scandalous suppression of information from a laptop computer abandoned by Hunter Biden, a laptop that profiled nefarious activities by the Biden family.
The FBI took on an election interference agenda then, “by falsely telling social media companies that a ‘hack and leak’ involving the Biden family and Burisma would be part of a Russian disinformation operation.”
In fact, the FBI knew at the time that the information was accurate, but still portrayed it as disinformation.
Then there was the FBI use of “confidential human sources” during the Jan. 6 events, Jordan’s letter said.
Jordan explained to Patel, “We appreciate your leadership in refocusing the FBI on its public-safety mission and improving its transparency. Honoring the enclosed subpoenas would be a step in that direction and important to restoring public confidence in the FBI. Accordingly, we respectfully ask that you direct the relevant FBI employees to comply in full with the subpoenas by March 17, 2025.”
