President Donald Trump ordered federal agencies Tuesday to demonstrate that their employees’ roles are legally required, granting Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) broad new powers to eliminate positions deemed unnecessary.

The executive order requires agencies to defend its workforce against elimination or consolidation, while restricting departments to hiring just one new employee for every four who leave. It also creates a “DOGE team lead” position within each agency to oversee what the order calls “large-scale reductions in force” by identifying which functions aren’t mandated by law.

“Agencies will undertake plans for large-scale reductions in force and determine which agency components (or agencies themselves) may be eliminated or combined because their functions aren’t required by law,” the order reads.

The order expands on Trump’s earlier workforce reduction efforts, which included a federal hiring freeze and offering eight months of paid leave to employees who resign. The cooperation with “team leads” seems to evolve from DOGE’s establishing executive order, which refashioned the Obama administration’s United States Digital Service (USDS) into the United States DOGE Service.

Military personnel and agency employees deemed necessary for national security, immigration enforcement or law enforcement are exempt from the order.

“If bureaucracy is in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have?” Musk said, standing beside the president as he signed the order in the Oval Office.

“It does not match the will of the people, so it’s just something we’ve got to fix,” he added.

DOGE has already effectively dismantled the U.S. Agency for International Development and now targets similar cuts in the Department of Education and the Department of Defense. DOGE faces multiple legal challenges from public employee unions over the buyout program and workforce reduction efforts generally, with a federal judge extending the deadline Monday for employees to accept Trump’s offer.

A policy adviser for the U.S. Department of the Treasury has admitted on camera that workers in the agency are defying Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency.

Because DOGE and Musk are, “risks to national security.”

The video comes from O’Keefe Media Group, which goes undercover to interview subjects.

This one was identified as Nate Johnson, a policy adviser in the agency.

He called DOGE, “Government sanctioned harassment,” and complained about Trump’s offer to have federal workers agree to resign in return for months of pay.

He said no one thinks that’s legal, and it would end up firing the “wrong people.”

Further, he complained that DOGE should not have access to Treasury information because, even if they’re American, they could give information to a “foreign governmenta.”

He admitted there are problems, with employees in the government for 40 years, who “don’t do much.”

And he explained he works on situations where there could be security issues with a foreign investment in America, and said those often are resolved with an agreement … and subsequent monitoring.

He claimed Musk is “showing what he really cares about is money. So in theory all he wants is more money.”

Ukraine may lose territory to Russia in peace talks

President Trump on Wednesday has indicated that he will be meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia in the near future. He expects that there will be other meetings to follow as they enter into peace talks, according to The Hill.

It appears that Ukraine may not be able to get back the territory that Russia has forcibly taken from them if they want the war to end, according to The Hill. In addition, Ukraine may not be considered an equal member in the talks.

President Trump said he thinks Ukraine must, “make peace” because “their people are being killed” and that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, “will have to do what he has to to do.”

A member of the Democrats’ contingent in Congress stunningly has openly voiced the party’s demand for the censorship of American people.

That censorship reached a peak under the Joe Biden administration, when his staff members berated and bullied multiple online social media platforms into censoring ideas they disliked.

It perhaps culminated when the FBI got involved in election interference, demanding publications during the 2020 election suppress scandalous information about the Biden family’s overseas influence peddling operations because it was Russian disinformation.

A report at BizPacReview explained how Pressley “proudly revealed the very core of the progressive agenda, in turn admitting to how far the left will go to maintain power.”

Online commenters pointed out how Pressley clearly doesn’t understand the Constitution she has sworn to uphold.

Another commenter said, “If they can’t control speech, they can’t control the country. With free speech their lies, gaslighting and propaganda is exposed. They’re going to do everything to silence opposition. Any politician who advocates stomping on rights should automatically be removed from office.”

27 religious groups ask federal judge in D.C. to exempt their houses of worship from ICE raids

Representatives from 27 different religious groups are asking a federal judge to intervene and block ICE from raiding their places of worship. They claim that they feel called to “minister” to illegal immigrants, according to WORLD.

DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin told WORLD on Tuesday that the focus of federal agents was to protect houses of worship and schools from illegal immigrant criminals who want to use those locations as a safe haven and a cover for involvement in illegal activities.

Florida Sheriff Grady Judd says he hopes to make Florida the “model” for how states can come alongside of ICE to keep American communities safe.

President Donald Trump’s advocacy for secure American borders, deportation of illegal alien criminals, and support for American citizens was taken to a new level on Wednesday.

The Department of Justice, under Attorney General Pam Bondi, sued New York Attorney General Letitia James, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and Mark Schroeder, the state’s chief of its division of motor vehicles.

At issue is the state’s support for illegal aliens, to the point they are given privileges American citizens are not.

Bondi confirmed, “We’re here today because we have filed charges against the state of New York. We have filed charges against Kathy Hochul, we have filed charges against Letitia James, and Mark Schroeder, who is with DMV.”

She said, “This is a new DOJ, and we are taking steps to protect Americans, American citizens, and angel moms, like the mom standing right behind me … .”

She charged, “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops today.”

The announcement came in Bondi’s first press conference as U.S. attorney general.

The state and its officials are facing accusations in the legal filing that they have failed to enforce federal immigration law.

The action takes aim at a “green light law” that lets people who are in the United States illegally get driver’s licenses in the state.

Bondi also charged that New York officials have limited their state’s ability to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.

The DOJ only days earlier had sued Illinois over its enforcement of federal immigration law.

“We did it to Illinois. Strike one. Strike two is New York, and if you’re a state not complying with federal law? You’re next,” Bondi said.

United States Attorney General Pam Bondi took the media to task over the Ice leaks. She expressed her disgust over how the lives of law enforcement are jeopardized when raids are leaked. There are a number of suspects, including the FBI, though nothing has been proven as of yet. Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has made her suspicions known, according to Newsweek. One raid in particular last week should have netted a much larger number than the 30 illegals who were taken in, but leaks to the media gave illegals a heads-up, according to Columbia Journalism Review.
