President Donald Trump was famous for his reality television show line, in days gone by, “You’re fired!”

It seems that’s what he wants now to do with FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, that cadre of bureaucrats who admitted skipping over homes that displayed Trump signs in the aftermath of a hurricane disaster in North Carolina.

The opinion also comes on the heels of the firing of four FEMA employees who went against orders and siphoned off $59 million in federal tax money to give to New York City for housing illegals.

Trump wrote, on social media, “FEMA spent tens of millions of dollars in Democrat areas, disobeying orders, but left the people of North Carolina high and dry. It is now under review and investigation. THE BIDEN RUN FEMA HAS BEEN A DISASTER. FEMA SHOULD BE TERMINATED! IT HAS BEEN SLOW AND TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE. INDIVIDUAL STATES SHOULD HANDLE STORMS, ETC., AS THEY COME. BIG SAVINGS, FAR MORE EFFICIENT!!!’

A report at Bloomberg said the comment was a widening of Trump’s fight against the federal bureaucracy. He campaigned on, and was elected to, impose transparency, responsible spending, and elimination of fraud, on government.

And the report noted such a change would transform how the U.S. addresses disaster assistance.

It was Elon Musk, Trump’s chief of the Department of Government Efficiency, who had complained that the agency, against orders, had sent payments to New York City for housing for illegals.

A report at ABC pointed out that Kristi Noem, Trump’s newly appointed secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, already has endorsed the idea of eliminating FEMA, as least “the way it exists today.”

(FOX NEWS) — An American teacher who was detained by Russia is heading back to American soil, the Trump administration announced Tuesday.

“Today, President Donald J. Trump and his Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are able to announce that Mr. Witkoff is leaving Russian airspace with Marc Fogel, an American who was detained by Russia,” National Security Adviser Mike Waltz said in a statement.

“President Trump, Steve Witkoff and the President’s advisors negotiated an exchange that serves as a show of good faith from the Russians and a sign we are moving in the right direction to end the brutal and terrible war in Ukraine,” Waltz added.

President Donald Trump on Monday escalated the world’s war against the terrorists of Hamas, who still are keeping hostages in their underground compounds, by calling for a noon Saturday deadline for them all to be released.

Sticking a fork in the Middle East routine of terrorists capturing innocent civilians and then releasing a few at a time as they make more and more demands, Trump said he wants all of the remaining hostages released or “all hell is going to break out.”

Now, Fox News reports Trump’s comments were followed by a strong endorsement from Israel’s security cabinet.

The report explained, “The declaration comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened his security cabinet Tuesday after Hamas announced it is delaying the next release of Israeli hostages.”

Netanyahu said, in a statement, “The decision I passed in the Cabinet unanimously is this: If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday noon – the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense combat until Hamas is decisively defeated.”

The latest version of the war between the Hamas terrorists and Israel has been going on since Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas invaded Israel and slaughtered, often in horrific fashion such as burning whole families alive, some 1,200 civilians. At the time the terrorists also took hundreds hostage.

Netanyahu said, “In light of Hamas’ announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, I instructed the IDF last night to amass forces inside and around the Gaza Strip. This operation is currently underway and will be completed as soon as possible.”

He also said he welcomed Trump’s “revolutionary vision” for Gaza, where Hamas has maintained control and a stronghold for years. Trump’s plan is to remove most of the residents of Gaza so the parcel can be cleared of wreckage, then rebuilt.

Trump insists on the release by Hamas of “all” hostages, “not in drips and drabs.”

Hamas just a day earlier had complained about Israel and said it would delay the next planned release of hostages. It accused Israel of violating a ceasefire as the reason.

Hamas officials also complained they were denied “relief supplies.”

Under the agreement that had been put in place, Hamas has given up 21 hostages in exchange for more than 730 Palestinian prisoners who were convicted of crimes and jailed.

In what could be another significant advance on a less violent Middle East, Jordan’s king met with Trump Tuesday promising to take 2,000 Palestinian children with medical issues. He also said he is meeting soon with Israel’s Arab neighbors to discuss relocating Palestinians out of Gaza.

Jordan’s Abdullah II told Trump, “I truly believe, with all the challenges that we have in the Middle East, that I finally see somebody that can take us across the finish line to bring stability, peace, and prosperity to all of us in the region.”

Democrats lost in the 2024 election. In a big way. They lost, of course, the White House, and the power to run all executive branch agencies and departments. They lost the majority in the Senate, where Chuck Schumer now is relegated to holding news conferences, claiming to want to find government “corruption” and such. And they left the GOP majority intact in the U.S. House.

So now they are left to relying on leftist and activist judges installed by Joe Biden or Barack Obama in his first two terms in the White House, to try to hold back President Donald Trump’s wave of transparency, cost-cutting and efficiency.

A commentary at the Federalist explains to what level the Democrats have been reduced.

“What’s happening right now is that Democrats, having been thrown out of power by American voters in a landslide victory for Trump, have decided they’re going to deploy a widely-used tactic from Trump’s first term to thwart the president’s agenda: use the federal judiciary. Under the false pretext that the lower federal courts are part of a ‘coequal branch of government’ with the executive, they’re aiming to shut down Trump’s reform efforts with a fusillade of preliminary injunctions.”

A top legal expert says the scheme ultimately will collapse, but the nature of American government means that will take some time.

The Federalist noted the “dozens” of lawsuits from Democrat attorneys general and “various left-wing groups.”

They choose their venues, so that the cases are brought before “rabidly anti-Trump activist judges.”

In just the past few days eight different judges have created blockades for portions of Trump’s work.

“Federal judges in Democrat-majority districts have issued preliminary injunctions blocking Trump’s executive actions to end birthright citizenship, reform and downsize the United States Agency for International Development, and offer buyouts to federal bureaucrats. A federal judge this past weekend blocked Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency and all other political appointees in the Trump administration — including the Treasury secretary and his deputies — from accessing payment data at the Treasury Department,” the report noted.

One even radically insisted that federal inmates had to be housed with other inmates of the sex they claim to be, not the sex they are, a component on Biden’s transgender ideologies.

The result is “a kind of judicial coup against the sitting president,” the report said.

“It’s a simple enough tactic. All Democrats have to do is shop for a venue to find the most activist, rabidly anti-Trump federal judges in the country, file their lawsuits, and wait for the injunctions to come raining down,” the report said.

There are problems, in that American voters chose Trump’s campaign in the election specifically to clean up government corruption, and federal judges “have no actual authority to do this.”

“They can’t decide on their own who the president can talk to or what data he can access. They can’t bind the president at all. According to the U.S. Constitution they’re ‘inferior’ courts and therefore don’t have any authority over the executive branch. Yes, the three branches of the federal government are coequal, but the only part of the federal judiciary that’s equal to the presidency is the Supreme Court, not all the federal district courts scattered across the country,” the report said.

The Supreme Court, in fact, already has undermine the Democrats’ concept that any judge anywhere can issue an order affecting the entire nation.

Justice Clarence Thomas, in fact, said those injunctions, “appear to be inconsistent with longstanding limits on equitable relief and the power of Article III courts. If their popularity continues, this Court must address their legality.”

It was Alan Dershowitz, a longtime Democrat and Harvard law professor emeritus, who said in a Daily Caller News Foundation report that those injunctions probably will be thrown out on appeal.

“Nobody ever said that our system of checks and balances would make it easy to govern or would make it efficient to govern. No, no, the design of our system of checks and balances was to create enough power to govern effectively while, at the same time, denying any one part of our government enough power to create a tyranny. So we have to counter our system of checks and balances, and it’s working, even today, as we speak. The president issues executive order after executive order after executive order, and what do the states do? They get their attorneys general to bring a lawsuit.”

He explained their scheme: “They search all over the country for the best judges. They hand-pick the judges. They file the lawsuits, and you get judges saying, ‘Uh-uh, no, Mr. President, you can’t do that,’ and so you get a single judge for about an hour being able to stop the president from doing something. I say an hour metaphorically. It could be days, but ultimately those issues are brought up to the court of appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court. It will be resolved, and the president will obey, wouldn’t do what Andrew Jackson did, saying, ‘The chief justice made the ruling, now let him enforce it,’”

He said many of the injunctions will found to be improper, as the lower courts simply don’t have the authority to do what they are trying: pursue the Democrats’ political agenda using the power of the gavel.

He said a president’s power is at a peak when dealing with agencies, as Trump has been doing.

“People keep forgetting, the bureaucracy, the bureaucracy, the alphabet agencies. They are not an independent branch. They are part of the executive, and the executive is the president. Now, it’s complicated, because Congress created many of these agencies. For example, you know some of them, Federal Communications Commission, federal security, federal drug, those are created by Congress, but they’re part of the executive department. Some of the people are confirmed by Congress, and so your argument is you can’t fire them, only Congress can unconfirm them, but that’s never been the rule. For example, the head of the FBI is confirmed, and all cabinet members are confirmed by the Senate, yet the president can fire any of those heads of agencies at his whim. He doesn’t even have to have a reason to do it.”

The Democrats’ actions, however, appear to be just an extension of their lawfare against President Trump between his terms of office. They created multiple cases over his possession of presidential documents, over his comments and opinions about the 2020 election, and even alleged his was involved in an organized crime case. Those all eventually fell apart.

Chuck Schumer, the leader of the minority Democrats in the Senate, has created a tipline for concerned Americans to expose “corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety.”

His name was just about the first to show up.

He announced his tipline, offering whistleblower protections, this week: “Today, I’m calling on our brave public servants: I’m launching a new portal for anyone who wants to expose corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety with the legal protections of being a whistleblower.”

His own name immediately appeared, as he was called out for standing on the steps of the Supreme Court during a pro-abortion rally, and screaming threats at Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

He threatened they would “pay the price” if their decisions didn’t make him happy.

Commentator Katie Pavlich also submitted his name.

As did Mollie Hemingway, of the Federalist.

Elon Musk joined.

Schumer’s actual threat to the two justices was, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Fox News reported others were mentioned as suspects, too.

They included Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and “the entire corrupt Democrat party that weaponized & abused the federal government for the past four years.” That comment was from Sen. Ted Cruz.

Fox noted the “widespread mockery” delivered to Schumer after his announcement.

In fact, comedian Tim Young noted, to Schumer, “We already have that … it’s called DOGE,” for the Department of Government Efficiency, an organization created by President Donald Trump to root out waste and fraud in the federal government spending.

Four workers at the Federal Emergency Management Agency are being fired for unilaterally sending a massive $59 million payment for hotels in New York City to house illegal aliens.

The “egregious payment” came about after they decided to go about “circumventing leadership” on the issue of payments of federal monies to sanctuary cities.

Fox News reported the firings come after Elon Musk explained on social media, “The DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants.”

The report explained the FEMA works with Customs and Border Control to dispense money to the Shelter and Services Program, which provides housing and other benefits for illegal aliens released into the United States.

This was an exploding program under Joe Biden’s administration, which allowed millions of illegal aliens to cross into America under his open borders agenda.

As part of that, his administration reportedly lost track of hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied children., too.

President Trump already has instituted a number of program changes to crack down on illegal immigration, and to round up known criminal illegal aliens and deport them.

City officials in New York admitted to Fox the city had gotten the money that had been designated by Biden for housing.

“Of the $59.3 million, $19 million was for direct hotel costs, while the balance funded other services such as food and security. According to NY City Hall, the funds were not part of a disaster relief grant,” the report explained.

“These funds have been misappropriated going back to the Biden administration and New York City – a sanctuary city – has been wasting billions of dollars of taxpayer money to provide free housing, clothing, food, education and healthcare to illegal immigrants, including criminal aliens that are here illegally,” charged, Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y.

“That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high-end hotels for illegals,” Musk, who heads Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, said. “A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds.”

Musk noted, “Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President’s executive order. That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals! A clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds.”

Biden embedded throughout the government multiple ways for tax money to be spent on illegal aliens after they break the law and enter the U.S. without permission. One of Trump’s agenda points is to eliminate that spending.

Elon Musk, the head of DOGE, is voicing his astonishment after exposing a “ridiculous”multi-million-dollar virtual reality project teaching U.S. soldiers how to have “difficult conversations” regarding diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI.

“Can you believe they were spending your tax dollars on this [poop] ??” Musk said Monday on X.

He was reacting to a video posted by LibsofTikTok revealing the training video.

“You can’t make this stuff up,” said LibsofTikTok.

The massive $2.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command created a virtual reality experience where members of the Armed Forces would interact with an avatar coaching them to converse and act in a friendly manner regarding DEI issues.

“This program allows the participants to have a conversation that are both realistic and difficult,” wrote a U.S. airman attached to a video testimonial. “It uses a virtual avatar that are controlled by trained actors.”

It “is just another way that the Air and Space Force are innovating and staying one step ahead of a time when we have difficult conversations!”
