House Rep proposes amendment to allow Trump a 3RD TERM
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), a steadfast ally of President Donald Trump, introduced a resolution on Thursday evening aimed at amending the U.S. Constitution to permit a president to serve three terms in office.
This proposal, specifically tailored to enable former President Donald Trump to run for an additional term, seeks to adjust the current two-term limit set by the 22nd Amendment, which has been in place since its ratification in 1951.
The 22nd Amendment was a response to Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s four-term presidency, which ended with his death shortly after the start of his fourth term in 1945.
This historical amendment has since dictated the tenure of U.S. presidents, ensuring a maximum of two terms in office. However, Rep. Ogles believes that extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures.
“President Trump’s decisive leadership stands in stark contrast to the chaos, suffering, and economic decline Americans have endured over the past four years,” said Congressman Ogles in a statement.
“He has proven himself to be the only figure in modern history capable of reversing our nation’s decay and restoring America to greatness, and he must be given the time necessary to accomplish that goal.
“To that end, I am proposing an amendment to the Constitution to revise the limitations imposed by the 22nd Amendment on presidential terms. This amendment would allow President Trump to serve three terms, ensuring that we can sustain the bold leadership our nation so desperately needs.”
The resolution, if ratified, would permit any president to serve up to three non-consecutive terms, while placing restrictions on consecutive terms to prevent excessive consolidation of power.
Under the proposed amendment, no individual who has already served two full terms would be eligible to run for a third consecutive term, but they could return to office in a future election cycle.
The amendment reads, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”
Rep. Ogles added, “It is imperative that we provide President Trump with every resource necessary to correct the disastrous course set by the Biden administration. President Trump has shown time and time again that his loyalty lies with the American people and our great nation above all else. He is dedicated to restoring the republic and saving our country, and we, as legislators and as states, must do everything in our power to support him.”
“Compared to the prosperity and protection offered under President Trump, the Biden Administration has subjected Americans to relentless abuses that will take a decade to correct.
“Small towns and major cities alike have been overrun by millions of illegal immigrants trafficked across the border, fueling a surge in drug overdoses and violent crime. Soaring gas and groceries costs have crushed countless families’ financial security.
“Radical LGBTQ+ agendas have infiltrated schools and workplaces, while DEI mandates have destroyed small businesses, wasted taxpayer dollars, and corrupted hiring practices. Social media platforms were coerced into censoring free speech and suppressing vital medical information.
“Meanwhile, servicemembers have been stripped of their pay and rank for refusing a hastily-approved experimental vaccine. The list of this administration’s failures is as long as it is egregious,” Congressman Ogles concluded.
While many GOP members remain staunch supporters of former President Donald Trump, they argue that the proposed amendment contradicts core conservative principles of limited government and term restrictions.
One user wrote on X, “I love Trump, but no. We changed it because Roosevelt was so bad no one wanted to chance going through that again. What we need is someone else to step up and not be afraid to lead with principles instead of worrying about votes and dollars.”
Another user echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Even Republicans shouldn’t want this. Additional powers granted to the government can and WILL be abused by future administrations. I like Trump, but he should find a worthy successor after his second term!”
Another user commented, “I like Trump, but two terms as president is enough. What we really need is term limits on congress.”
Critics argue that extending presidential term limits could set a dangerous precedent, opening the door for potential abuses of power in future administrations.

‘Torture just continues’: Doctor headed to trial for exposing child sex-change procedures urges Trump DOJ to drop case
A doctor who exposed secret child transgender procedures at the nation’s largest children’s hospital hopes President Donald Trump will stop the Department of Justice (DOJ) from taking him to trial in February.
Dr. Eithan Haim told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the DOJ will be “in direct contravention” of the White House if it continues to prosecute him for blowing the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital’s sex change program in May 2023. The DOJ claims he broke privacy law by releasing records about transgender procedures to the media, bringing a felony case that has led to nationwide scrutiny, months of procedural hangups and the dismissal of a leading prosecutor.
“My message [to Trump] would be, ‘This case needs to be dropped with prejudice immediately. The people who brought this case need to be investigated,’” Haim said in a phone interview. Otherwise, “an insane legal theory will be legitimized which will destroy the medical profession,” the Houston-based surgeon said.
Haim leaked documents while he worked at Texas Children’s Hospital to journalist Chris Rufo, showing that the facility was signing children up for transgender surgery and cross-sex hormones after telling the public it had stopped. Texas Republicans have since banned transgender procedures for minors.
Former President Joe Biden’s DOJ indicted Haim in May 2024 under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, alleging he illegally disclosed the private information of children getting sex change appointments. The DOJ admitted in its indictment that Haim redacted children’s names before giving the files to Rufo. However, it accuses Haim of “malicious intent” against the hospital and “unauthorized” use of the data, which he accessed as an employee.
Haim faces up to ten years in prison and possible fines if convicted.
“What they’re charging me with … has not been defined,” Haim told the DCNF. He said his case could set a precedent that would “allow prosecutors to criminalize any doctor who, you know, runs against the political interests of major hospital systems.”
The prosecutor who brought the indictment, Tina Ansari, withdrew from the case in November after Haim’s lawyers revealed that she had a suspended law license and family members with ties to Texas Children’s Hospital.
A Texas court set Haim’s jury trial for Feb. 10 after it was delayed, and gave the DOJ until Friday to submit details on its planned witnesses.
The agency’s office in the Southern District of Texas did not respond to multiple requests for comment. The DCNF then contacted the DOJ Public Affairs Office and did not immediately receive a response.
Trump signed an executive order on Monday to end “the weaponization of the Federal Government” by the DOJ and other agencies against the last administration’s “political opponents.” The White House’s press office did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether Trump plans to address Haim’s case.
Prosecutors requested a gag order against Haim, but Reagan-appointed Judge David Hittner refused to rule on the demand in December. Haim said that legal ambiguity threatened him into silence, stopping him from publicly criticizing the case. Now, he says he could not handle staying quiet.
“What that feels like is being tortured in a basement and you try to scream as loud as possible and no one hears you, right?” he said. “And no matter how much you scream, the torture just continues.”
Haim, a husband and father of one, said he is “not confident at all” the judge would give him a fair trial and he “would like to not pay legal bills for the rest of my life.”
“What they want to do is bleed us dry in order to get me to plead to some bullshit fucking agreement, which I’m definitely not going to do,” Haim told the DCNF. “If they get me to do that, all of this goes away and it legitimizes their corruption.”

AOC disturbed that cultural figures no longer ‘scared’ of ‘being associated with’ Trump
Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said during a podcast Thursday that she’s concerned about elites and cultural figures openly associating with President Donald Trump.
Numerous celebrities, including musicians and comedians, appeared at Trump’s inauguration on Monday. Ocasio-Cortez, on “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” said Trump being “much more normalized” in his second term makes him “so much more dangerous” than he was in his first term.
WATCH:
“What makes this go-around with Trump so much more dangerous than the first time around is … he is much more normalized this time around than he was the first time,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “The first time, people were really on edge. They were on guard. They were very vigilant about any break that he would have with these norms. This time, the norms are becoming him, like the norms are embracing him.”
“Even these little things that … everyday working people may not care about, but they are strong cultural signals — Oscar de la Renta like dressing all of the women [for Trump’s inauguration] — like there’s all these cultural symbols … All of these people that were scared before about being associated with him, from the most common basic level to the most elite level, they’re all-in now because this is now a billionaire feeding frenzy,” she said. “It is a kiss-ass race. It is, ‘How can I show how much fealty I have to Donald Trump in order to get my digs?’”
Trump’s inauguration also saw financial backing from Big Tech companies, some of which had previously banned him from their platforms.
Moreover, left-wing groups protesting Trump’s second presidency on Monday had plans to “fight back” with thousands of participants, but that’s not what occurred. Rather than the expected 10,000 protesters, the Daily Caller News Foundation observed a crowd of dozens standing in the snow and complaining about the icy weather against a backdrop of unused megaphones.
Trump committed to reversing Democratic Party policies. He criticized Democrats during his inaugural address and said “America’s decline is over,” according to a transcript of his remarks.

Trump puts kibosh on idea for federal digital currency with 1 stroke of his pen
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday prohibiting federal agencies from establishing, issuing or promoting central bank digital currencies.
The executive order also establishes the Presidential Working Group on Digital Asset Markets, which is tasked with developing a comprehensive federal regulatory approach for digital assets, creating guidelines for stablecoins and exploring the potential establishment of a national strategic digital asset reserve. AI and Crypto Czar David Sacks will chair the group, and it will include leaders from the Treasury Department, Securities and Exchange Commission and other relevant agencies.
“The digital asset industry plays a crucial role in innovation and economic development in the United States, as well as our nation’s international leadership,” the order said. “It is therefore the policy of my administration to support the responsible growth and use of digital assets.”

The executive order mandates that all federal agencies and departments submit recommendations to the group regarding the rescission or modification of existing digital asset regulations. It also explicitly repeals the Biden administration’s previous executive order framework governing international engagement in the digital assets industry.
The move comes after the president promised to make the United States the “crypto capital of the planet” and likened the digital asset industry to the “steel industry of 100 years ago” at the annual Bitcoin Conference in July.
Trump’s warmer relationship with cryptocurrency follows his saying in 2019 that digital assets were “not money” and were “based on thin air.” He became increasingly friendly with the industry throughout his 2024 presidential campaign and said he would foster a more crypto-friendly regulatory environment in the U.S.
I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity….
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 12, 2019
Trump announced a foray into the crypto market Friday after launching $TRUMP, a memecoin that added tens of billions to the president’s net worth.

‘Biden forever’: Illegal Haitian yells for Joe, Obama as ICE officers shove him into squad car
An illegal Haitian migrant openly praised former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden as Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested him in Boston, Massachusetts, for his alleged involvement with a gang.
President Donald Trump’s administration is ramping up its efforts to arrest and deport illegal immigrants, particularly those with lengthy criminal records, and reversed a Biden-era policy that barred Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) from making arrests in schools, churches and other “sensitive locations.” The Haitian migrant who praised Obama and Biden is a gang member with 17 criminal convictions in recent years, Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported Thursday.
“I’m not going back to Haiti,” the man said. “F*ck Trump! You feel me? Yo, Biden forever, bro! Thank Obama for everything he did for me, bro!”
WATCH:
ICE Boston officers confirmed their plan to arrest “extremely violent offenders” in the area and several illegal migrants considered to be threats, including an MS-13 member wanted in El Salvador for aggravated murder, Melugin reported. Officials made eight notable arrests, including an illegal Brazilian national who was wanted for armed robbery, an El Salvadoran national charged locally for rape and an illegal migrant from the Dominican Republic who is charged with deadly assault with a deadly weapon and heroine trafficking.
Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman said in a Tuesday statement that the reversal of Biden’s programs allows for ICE agents to arrest “criminal aliens,” including rapists and murderers. The current administration reversed another Biden-era policy that allowed for humanitarian parole, which Huffman said allowed “1.5 million migrants to enter our country.”
Throughout the U.S., ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officials arrested nearly 500 illegal immigrants in a 33-hour operation within the first days of Trump’s second term. The ERO arrested individuals with charges or convictions including aggravated assault, robbery, sexual assault and drug offenses.
Trump signed a slew of executive orders addressing the border crisis, which declared a national emergency at the border, revoked birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants, suspended the physical entry of illegal immigrants and reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy. Before being sworn in, the president had planned to launch a mass deportation effort in major cities across the U.S.

Tom Homan says illegal migrant who said he wasn’t going back to Haiti is, in fact, returning there
Border czar Tom Homan said Thursday on Fox News that an illegal migrant who was recorded shouting that he would not be sent back to Haiti will, in fact, return to his home country.
Video footage aired on Fox News showed the Haitian migrant praising former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama while being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Boston, Mass. On “The Will Cain Show,” Cain played the clip for Homan, asking for his thoughts as the migrant was heard shouting, “I’m not going back to Haiti!”
Homan said the migrant was wrong.
“He’s going back to Haiti. I can tell him that,” Homan said.
“Look, I’ve said it on this network for four years. Joe Biden opened these borders on purpose. It wasn’t a mismanagement. It wasn’t encompassing. He knew exactly what he was doing. He played the promises while he’s running for president. He kept those promises. At least you got to give him credit for that. They’ve opened this border up.”
President Trump, Homan said, is “going to secure the border [at] the highest level ever.”
“You thought we had a secure border before? Watch what happens now. It’ll be the tightest border in the history of this nation,” Homan said.
“ICE officers are finally getting handcuffs taken off them, and they’re going to put them on the bad guys throughout the country.”
Illegal migrant encounters reached record highs under the Biden-Harris administration. President Donald Trump, during the 2024 presidential campaign, said he would shut down the U.S. southern border and carry out mass deportations. Following Trump’s inauguration and immediate reversal of Biden’s policies, ICE officials have begun to arrest “criminal aliens,” including rapists and murderers, across the U.S.
WATCH:
The Haitian migrant seen in the video, according to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, is a gang member with 17 criminal convictions in recent years. Homan went on to say that Americans will begin to see a difference at the border under the Biden-Harris administration, adding there will be increased security and more authority for ICE officials to carry out their duties.
“You’re going to see a border wall being constructed. You’re going to see a lot of soldiers down there on the impediment progress and putting Constantino wire up — border barriers. You’re going to see DOD [the Department of Defense] there,” Homan said.
“You’re going to see ICE agents assigned down there for trafficking investigations. You’re going to see Border Patrol agents — rather than making sandwiches, changing diapers, making baby formula — they’re going to be doing their national security duty and securing that border. They’re going to be on the line.”
Prior to Trump’s inauguration on Monday, Democratic lawmakers and officials criticized his mass deportation plan. The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit in November against ICE, challenging the deportation strategy. Despite the pushback, Homan has remained firm following through with the president’s vow and has warned Democrats of potential legal repercussions from attorney general nominee Pam Bondi.

How Biden’s pardons normalize abuse of power
As expected, Joe Biden handed out 10-year blanket pardons to his corrupt family, which had profited in the millions from influence-peddling schemes.
The venality is breathtaking.
The corruption is one thing. But pardons he gave government officials like Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, Bennie Thompson, Liz Cheney and others has create an unprecedented moral hazard that will long outlive Biden.
Ponder the long-term consequences of blanket amnesty for political allies. It’s difficult to imagine anything could incentivize criminality and abuse of power more than knowing a president will simply give you a get-out-of-jail-free card at the end of a term.
Indeed, even if pardoning one’s allies doesn’t become a White House tradition, and it might, a president can simply intimate that forgiveness is coming, sanctioning his minions to abuse their office with impunity.
“The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Biden writes.
Why not? The pardons are either an acknowledgment by Democrats that the Justice Department can easily be weaponized against political foes or, conversely, that these actors behaved in ways that were possibly criminal or corrupt.
And let’s momentarily set aside future effects of the pardons. What about the culpability of those Biden let off the hook? Most of these operatives deserve scrutiny.
Biden contends that the United States “owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.” The term “public servant” is one of the most misleading in our vernacular. It insinuates that government officials are sacrificing themselves for the common good when most not only make a great living but are imbued with undeserved power and prestige. The state has gotten so big that we are the ones who end up being servants.
We certainly don’t owe Fauci, the epitome of an abusive mandarin, anything. It is unlikely that any American has ever done more to damage trust in public health.
Fauci released a statement expressing gratitude for Biden’s pardon, noting that the threat of prosecution “creates immeasurable and intolerable distress on me and my family.” Surely, the distress Fauci feels is trivial compared to the anguish experienced by Americans who were barred from attending the funerals of their loved ones, those who had their businesses needlessly decimated, or parents who sat helpless while profound harm was inflicted on their children because of shutdowns.
The federal government is an all-powerful entity that will destroy your life, throw you in prison and shut down your church. Fauci is not solely responsible for what happened, but he steered the ship.
Governors regularly leaned on Fauci’s positions as justification for their unconstitutional shutdowns of churches, economic lockdowns and school closures. And Fauci praised them for it. It was the most undemocratic exertion of state power over individuals in modern history.
In a real “democracy,” the public would be entitled to know if Fauci, who later admitted that “draconian” COVID-19 policies led to “collateral negative consequences,” had been lying to Congress and presidents. What if I knew there was overwhelming evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 had originated in China and lied about that as well? These are completely legitimate issues to investigate.
Like Fauci, Milley was bestowed with an unprecedented pardon “for any offenses against the U.S. which he may have committed or taken part in” from January 2014 to the issuing of the pardon. That’s 10 years. The former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says he’s “deeply grateful” for the pardon. I bet he is.
A rank partisan, Milley’s incompetence and dishonesty during the deadly Afghanistan pullout were bad enough. But then he cooked up a counterhistorical fantasy in which Donald Trump would nuke adversaries to save his White House bid. This, he thinks, justified making two calls to Chinese communist generals, promising to give them a heads-up should the commander in chief of the U.S. Army attack – an unambiguous and possibly treasonous subversion of Constitution and civilian authority over the military.
In the end, Trump has far greater reason to fear retribution than Biden. The Democratic-run Justice Department already tried to destroy the lives of his personal lawyers and launched an unprecedented round of lawfare that was meant to put him in prison. Trump, incidentally, despite concerns at the time, didn’t preemptively pardon everyone in his administration and family in 2021. Why wouldn’t he do it next time?
If not Trump, what about whoever comes next? History consistently shows us that every morsel of power taken by one leader is likely to be used by another. Thanks, Joe.
