Yes, states are responsible for protecting children from transgenderism: Report

America is facing an “epidemic” of transgenderism among children, with more than 300,000 kids ages 13-17 identified as transgender during 2022, up by 100% from the previous estimates.

And it’s a “cause for alarm,” according to a new report from American First Policy Institute.

“Transgender identification increases risks for exposure to dangerous and irreversible medical interventions like puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex-reassignment surgeries,” the report warns.

“Transgender identification is the first step along a path culminating in medically unnecessary, dangerous, and life-altering medical interventions. The pain and suffering caused by these (often ghastly) procedures are especially tragic, given that the premise underlying this entire field of ‘medicine’ is so obviously in error. No person possesses a ‘gender identity’ contrary to that person’s sex.”

The report’s conclusion notes that, “The confusion that pushes vulnerable children toward these barbaric procedures is exacerbated by many of the nation’s prominent institutions—its medical, education, and political establishments—embracing unscientific, gender ideology–informed policies, concepts, and jargon.”

“The spread of gender ideology in K-12 schools is especially concerning. There is additionally good cause for believing online social media and pornography consumption contribute to gender confusion,’ it explains of the belief, promoted around the nation and the world at the highest levels when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were in office.

Actually, following the science, a man cannot become a woman, nor a woman become a man, because being male or female is embedded into the human body down to the DNA level.

The report cites Komodo Health, which drew on private and public health insurance claims to confirm that gender dysphoria diagnoses, “a proxy for transgender identification,” rose 178% among children 6-17 from 2017-2021. Further, cross-sex hormone prescriptions more than doubled, and breast implantations, or removals, increased by more than 18%.

“These trends are stark. At the same time, the true scope of the youth market for transgender medical procedures is almost certainly larger than the analysis by Komodo suggests. A recent analysis of the National Insurance Database uncovered ‘evidence of 5,288 to 6,294 ‘gender-affirming’ double mastectomies for girls under age 18 from 2017–2023. Annual counts for these procedures exceeded 1,000 in both 2021 and 2022—far more than the 238–282 identified by Komodo,” the report noted.

It confirmed that from 2019 to 2023, there were 13,994 transgender medical interventions were performed on children, 5,747 “sex change” surgeries were performed on children, 62,682 hormone and puberty blocker prescriptions written for 8,579 child patients.

And nearly $120 million “was made from performing transgender medical interventions on children.

The result?

“Serious and irreparable harm. The side effects of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones include impotence, sterility, and physical health complications ranging from stunted growth to cancer. Notwithstanding claims to the contrary by transgender activists, these changes are often permanent. Sex-reassignment surgeries are worse still. Amputating healthy body parts because confused children believe doing so will ease their anxiety is reckless and cruel.”

And it’s the fault of adults, as children are not legally permitted to consume alcohol, and are not “capable of making life-altering decisions.”

It is the “school-to-clinic pipeline” in which men, “who dress as hyper-sexualized caricatures of women and recruit children to publicly participate in their fetishes. It is adults who implement policies allowing boys into girls’ sports and intimate facilities and who mandate the use of so-called ‘preferred pronouns’. It is adults, not children, who create the online social media platforms and pornographic content that fuels the transgender social contagion.”

It doesn’t become a person’s “identity” simply because there is a mental health condition, the report charges.

“As recently as 2012, transgenderism (formerly ‘transsexualism’) was widely recognized as a mental/sexual health disorder. For example, in the fourth edition of its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-IV), the American Psychiatric Association (APA) defined ‘gender identity disorder’ (GID) as ‘a persistent and strong cross-gender identification and a persistent unease with one’s sex.’”

Needing to be recognized, too, is that transgender patients are nearly four times as likely to have been diagnosed with substance abuse disorders, more than four times as likely to have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder, more than five times as likely to have been diagnosed with a mood or anxiety disorder, and nearly 10 times as likely to have been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Post-traumatic stress issues and personality disorders also are widely present among that community.

The problem was aggravated in 2013 when the medical community decided that it was the “stress” felt by gender-confused patients that was the disorder, not the gender confusion itself.

As of now, the report said, 27 states had passed legislation to protect children from harmful, irreversible, and unapproved transgender surgeries and medications: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Trump to declare martial law on April 20? Democrats in full panic mode over absurd conspiracy

April 14, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: THE NEWS, WND

The Left is melting down once again—and this time, it’s over a tinfoil-hat-level conspiracy theory that President Donald Trump is preparing to declare martial law on April 20.

The same people who spent years mocking “QAnon” are now pushing a full-blown BlueAnon fantasy of their own.

The source of this hysteria? None other than James Carville, the aging Democratic strategist who’s apparently desperate to stay relevant.

On a recent episode of Politics War Room, Carville was asked whether Trump was trying to provoke enough unrest to declare martial law and suspend the 2026 elections.

“You’re so correct to be concerned about this… It’s getting worse by the day. It is not going to stop getting worse. And I would be, we ought to be, on high, high alert.”

The left’s panic stems from a deliberate misreading of Trump’s January 20 executive order, which declared a national emergency at the southern border and directed the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to submit a report by April 20.

The report will assess the border crisis—created by years of Democrat open-border policies—and recommend whether to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 for enforcement. Nowhere does it mention “martial law,” but that hasn’t stopped the BlueAnon crowd from spinning dystopian fantasies.

The EO reads in part:

“Within 90 days of the date of this proclamation, the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit a joint report to the President about the conditions at the southern border of the United States and any recommendations regarding additional actions that may be necessary to obtain complete operational control of the southern border, including whether to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.”

The Insurrection Act of 1807 is not martial law. They are distinct legal concepts in the United States, each with different implications for the use of military force and the role of civilian government.

The Insurrection Act is a federal law that grants the President authority to deploy U.S. military forces domestically under specific circumstances. It serves as an exception to the Posse Comitatus Act, which generally prohibits federal troops from engaging in civilian law enforcement.

Martial law refers to the temporary replacement of civilian government and legal processes with military authority.

The Left’s mass delusion began gaining traction after Trump gave an interview to NBC News on March 30, where he said that there were “methods” by which a third term could be considered.

Per NBC:

“A lot of people want me to do it,” Trump said in a Sunday-morning phone call with NBC News, referring to his allies. “But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”

“I’m not joking,” Trump said, when asked to clarify. “But I’m not — it is far too early to think about it.”

When asked whether he has been presented with plans to allow him to seek a third term, Trump said, “There are methods which you could do it.”

The rumor mill surged into overdrive after an anonymous Substack writer, posting under the name “Aletheisthenes,” published an article titled, “Part 1: On April 20th, 2025, the United States May Cross the Point of No Return.”

In the post, Aletheisthenes wrote:

Trending: First Look at Alleged Arsonist Cody Balmer Who Torched Josh Shapiro’s Home While He Slept During Passover

It sounds wild. Maybe even crazy. But every step is already in motion. I’d be happy to be wrong. But if this is correct… you’ll be ready.
On April 20, 2025, the United States may initiate its final steps into authoritarian rule.

That’s the day Donald Trump’s advisory committee is expected to release its findings on whether he should invoke the Insurrection Act — a move that would allow him to deploy the military domestically and allow Trump to impose martial law. (San Francisco Chronicle). Given Hegseth and Noem are the main “advisors”, the conclusion is foregone.

And as his two months in office has already shown, he won’t stop at just a legal opinion.

Expect an executive order even that same day or the next, officially declaring the Insurrection Act, restricting freedoms in the name of restoring control of the border and perhaps in blue-state cities, and setting the larger plan in motion.

Even far-left fact-checking site Snopes was forced to concede the rumor had no substance

They noted frantic emails from readers citing social media posts about April 20, with one tying the executive order to a supposed martial law plot. Snopes clarified that the order is about border security, not tanks rolling through the streets.

One reader emailed Snopes, “I am seeing many posts on Facebook that on April 20, Trump will declare martial law.” Another person referenced an executive order issued on Jan. 20, the first day of Trump’s second term, and asked, “I have seen a variety of posts suggesting that an early executive order signed by the president has set the stage for the imposition of martial law, and that this will be triggered by a report on the state of the border that will be released on April 20. Any truth here?”

That Jan. 20 executive order declared a national emergency at the southern U.S. border. One part of the order said that the secretaries of defense and homeland security would issue a joint report “within 90 days,” meaning by April 20. It further stated that the report would include guidance about “whether to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807.” The order did not explicitly mention the words “martial law.”

As of this writing on April 9, this rumor existed more as a prediction than a provable claim. Searches of the websites for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and the White House yielded no announcements, statements or demonstrable evidence that might help to shed light on the unproven matter.

But that hasn’t stopped Democrats from spreading fear and paranoia.

WATCH: NASA astronaut grows visibly triggered when network reporter simply uses the term ‘mankind’

Dr. Mae Jemison, a former National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronaut, derailed an interview with CBS host Vladimir Duthiers on Monday after he used the word “mankind.”

Duthiers asked Jemison to explain why Blue Origin’s eleventh space tourism launch, which carried several celebrities, benefited “mankind,” which prompted the former astronaut to demand that he say “humankind” instead. Duthiers could be heard apologizing during the interview for using a commonly used term and corrected himself to say “humankind.”

“Explain to our audience why even a trip like this one, [why] all the trips we take into space benefit mankind?” Duthiers said.

“Uh, so it benefits humankind and I’m gonna keep correcting the ‘mankind’ and the ‘manmade’ and the ‘man-missions’ because this is exactly what this mission is about is expanding the perspective of who does space,” Jemison said.

WATCH:

The automated mission carried eight women, including “CBS Mornings” co-anchor Gayle King, media personality Lauren Sanchez and pop singer Katy Perry, to outer space Monday morning and returned them safely to space minutes later. The mission was the first-ever to carry an all-female crew to space.

The left has prioritized cracking down on gendered language and has shamed people for using inoffensive words, such as mankind, that have been used for decades. Back in 2018, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau scolded a woman at a townhall for saying “mankind” instead of “person-kind.”

“So, that’s why we came here today to ask you, to also look into the policies that religious charitable organizations have in our legislation so that it can also be changed because maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind,” said the woman.

“We like to say ‘people-kind,’ not necessarily ‘mankind,’” Trudeau quickly interjected.

Generally, the terms “man” and “mankind” can be used to describe all human beings typically “in the sense of social or conscious beings,” according to the Cambridge Dictionary. Merriam-Webster defines “mankind” as a term to refer to “the totality of human beings” without any specification of a person’s biological sex.

It appears that Joe Biden not only gave terrorists literally unlimited access to the United States when they entered illegally, he gave them Social Security cards.

Through which they’ve successfully collected from American taxpayers Medicaid benefits, unemployment compensation, student loans, even tax refunds.

According to President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, “Under the Biden administration, it was routine for Border Patrol to admit aliens into the United States with no legal status and minimal screening. So far, CBP identified a subset of 6.3k individuals paroled into the United States since 2023 on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center watchlist or with criminal records.

“These paroles have since been terminated with immediate effect. Despite having no other legal status, paroled aliens are able to file for work authorization and receive social security numbers. Among these 6.3k paroled aliens with criminal or terrorist records (all have a social security number): – 905 collecting Medicaid (including 4 on the terrorist watch list). $276k was paid out – 41 collecting Unemployment Insurance, receiving $42k in benefits – 22 received federal student loans totaling $280k – 409 received {net} tax refunds (2024 only) for $751k – Several (final number TBD) received SNAP (food stamp) benefits.”

According to a report in the Center Square, there more than 14 million illegal border crossers reported under the Biden administration, including more than two million who evaded detection.

“They include millions flown to the U.S. on international flights paid for by taxpayers through parole programs created by the administration that judges ruled were illegal in lawsuits filed by states. Among them are more than one million from Venezuela, including members of the violent terrorist organization Tren de Aragua, who under the Biden administration had expanded into at least 22 states where crimes were reported,” the report said.

Biden routinely released the illegals into the United States, instead of processing them for removal, including some 6,300 “on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center watchlist.”

Trump has ended those parole programs, the report said.

‘Hiding intent’: U.S. senator wants Justice Department to probe new ‘Muslim city’ planned in Texas

April 14, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: THE NEWS, WND

A corporation wants to build a Muslim community in Texas, and U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is asking for a Department of Justice investigation to find out if there are violations of federal laws involved in the scheme.

The plan is for the project, led by the East Plano Islamic Center and in Josephine, Texas, is for the community to have single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, a mosque, a K-12 faith-based school, assisted living and other things. And it would cater to Muslims.

In a letter to the DOJ, Cornyn asked for an investigation whether the plans would violate the constitutional rights of Jewish and Christian residents by “prohibiting them from living in the community and discriminating against them.”

The senator wrote to Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon and said, “Religious discrimination, whether explicit or implicit, is unconstitutional under the First and Fourteenth Amendments. Religious freedom is a cornerstone of our nation’s values, and I am concerned this community potentially undermines this vital protection.”

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas (Video screenshot)
U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas

According to a report in the Washington Examiner, the plan already has been investigated at the request of Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Paxton, but it was unclear what those results included.

Abbott, at one point, said, “To be clear, Sharia law is not allowed in Texas. Nor are Sharia cities.”

At a recent public hearing on the plan, Texas resident Brandon Burder explained, “I have very grave concerns about the EPIC City project. First of all, under the Civil Rights Act of 1866, all citizens of the United States have the same right to purchase, lease, sell, hold, and convey real estate. Under the Civil Rights Act of 1968, known as the Fair Housing Act, Congress passed a law prohibiting discrimination in housing based on race, color, national origin, or religion.”

Project planners said they would abide by the Fair Housing Act, but also, “will conduct thorough individualized assessments of prospective buyers to ensure they align with our goals of safety and security.”

The project earlier had stated, online, that it would “limit sales to only persons we believe will contribute to the overall makeup of our community and are legally eligible to invest and buy property in the United States.”

Cornyn was blunt, in his letter, stating, “I am concerned that the Center, through its for-profit affiliated entity, is attempting to create an enclave that will discriminate on the basis of religion, and, further, is hiding this intent from the public.”

County planners have not yet been given the paperwork needed to start an evaluation.

But the facts are that there are “no-go” zones across the United Kingdom, where Muslims have moved in, essentially taking over local governments, and making the regions unfriendly to anyone not a Muslim.

WATCH: Media darling gushes over ‘handsome,’ ‘morally good,’ accused assassin

Former Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz described accused murderer Luigi Mangione as “morally good” and “handsome” during a Sunday appearance on CNN.

Police in Altoona, Pennsylvania, arrested Luigi Mangione in December 2023 following a five-day manhunt after United Health Group CEO Brian Thompson was killed in a shooting just outside a Manhattan hotel while en route to a conference. Lorenz discussed how women seemed to be attracted to Mangione with CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan during a special that aired on the corporate media network.

“So you’re going to see women especially that feel like, ‘Oh, my god, like, here’s this man who’s a revolutionary, who’s famous, who’s handsome, who’s young, who’s smart, he’s a person that seems there’s like this morally good man, which is hard to find,’” Lorenz told O’Sullivan.

WATCH:

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on April 1 that the federal government would seek the death penalty for Manigone should he be convicted on federal charges in connection with Thompson’s death.

“To see these millionaire media pundits on TV clutching their pearls about someone stanning a murderer when this is — this is the United States of America, as if we don’t lionize criminals, as if we don’t have, you know, stan murders of all sorts and we give them Netflix shows,” Lorenz told O’Sullivan earlier.

(X)
Luigi Mangione

“There’s a huge disconnect between the narratives and angles that the mainstream media pushes and what the American public feels, and you see that in moments like this,” Lorenz continued. “And I can tell you, I saw the biggest audience growth that I’ve ever seen, because people were like, ‘Oh, somebody, some journalist is actually speaking to the anger that we feel.’”

Vox Media ended its distribution of Lorenz’s podcast after she initially praised Mangione in December.

Lorenz previously drew criticism after she exposed the identity of the woman behind the popular X account LibsOfTikTok. The owner of the account, Chaya Raichik, was later hired by the Babylon Bee.

‘Make her first time special’: New warning sounded for artificial intelligence

April 14, 2025 Ogghy Filed Under: THE NEWS, WND

(Photo by Andrey Zvyagintsev on Unsplash)

(Photo by Andrey Zvyagintsev on Unsplash)

Artificial intelligence is the new web, the new cell phone, the new email, the new laptop, the new tech that is expected to impact lives in a major way, as all of those earlier advances did.

But it’s also offering a threat, especially to families, according to a submission from the Family Research Council to the government’s ongoing comment period for rules regarding the advances and use of AI.

The comment included a description of an incident uncovered by an ethicist who tested an AI chatbot. The question was about a 13-year-old girl whose 31-year-old “boyfriend” had “invited her on a trip and was talking about having sex with her for the first time.”

The chatbot, it was not identified which one was tested, ignored the clear potential for criminal pedophilia, statutory rape, kidnapping or worse, the report explained.

Instead, the chatbot “offered suggestions on how to make her first time special,” FRC noted in its comments.

“Children’s brains are still developing, and their emotions tend to run high. The possibility of social isolation for children and teens is even more pronounced and can severely affect their lives for the worse. An AI-saturated world presents new challenges for parents who want to raise children capable of healthy relationships.

“When children interact with AI, they may internalize distorted messages about human relationships and how to treat people. Since chatbots are designed to be addictive, they will often tell children exactly what they want to hear. This can hinder children’s ability to handle disagreements, think critically about media, and respect their parents. Relying on AI chatbots will not help children develop into well-rounded individuals or integrate into society effectively. No matter how well-packaged certain apps and chatbots are, AI will never replace real friends, mentors, teachers, and family,” the FRC said.

A report from the FRC said the comment on AI rules noted that “chatbots” will have the power “to morph into dangerous technology.”

“Family is the foundation of society. Throughout history, major technological advancements — such as industrialization and communications innovations like the cell phone — have significantly impacted how people meet, marry, start families, and raise children. The rise of AI presents opportunities and challenges on a scale we have never encountered before, and they can be difficult to predict,” the FRC explained.

The FRC itself was targeted by a leftist a few years ago. A violent criminal charged into its Washington offices with weapons, shooting and injuring a security officer who eventually was able to subdue the attacker.

During the court proceedings it was revealed the attacker, who picked out the FRC because it was listed, wrongly, on the “hate” map assembled to target Christians and conservatives by the often-sued Southern Poverty Law Center, wanted to kill as many FRC employees as possible that day.

The FRC explained, “In February, Vice President J.D. Vance noted the second Trump administration is drawing up a ‘precautionary regulatory regime’ to allow broader use of artificial intelligence while assuring it serves everyone’s interests.”

The council said, however, for “all Americans to benefit from the technology,” any action plan must “prioritize considerations for how AI will affect families and children.”

The report said already the “Veterans Administration will now use AI to analyze veterans’ health care needs; NASA will use AI to plot space exploration; and the Justice Department will use AI modeling to assess patterns of crime.”

“America is an exceptional country, and we can do this the right way. We ought to be careful not to rush into AI development, as we do not fully understand its potential impacts,” FRC suggested.
