JUST IN: Falsely Accused GOP Electors Fight Back!—File Charges Against Michigan’s Unhinged Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel Over Lawfare Case
Michigan’s falsely accused Republican electors, whose names were dragged through the mud for almost 5 years by a relentless media loyal to the Democrat Party, are fighting back! The mostly senior citizen group of 16 electors, who cast an alternate slate of electoral votes for President Trump, following the state’s most controversial election, were charged with 8 felonies each by Michigan’s lawless Attorney General Dana Nessel. Unfortunately, instead of respecting the law, Dana Nessel, the state’s top law enforcement officer, has made quite a reputation for herself for misusing her elected position to punish her political enemies.
Michigan’s 16 Republican 2020 Electors.
Today, in a stinging rebuke to all Democrats in positions of power that rely on politically motivated judges to enact lawfare against their political enemies, Michigan’s 2020 alternate electors—patriots who stood up to certify what they believed was the rightful winner amid widespread concerns over 2020 irregularities—have declared their intent to turn the tables on far-left Attorney General Dana Nessel.
After Nessel waved the white flag last week by refusing to appeal the district court’s decisive dismissal of her politically motivated felony charges against them, the electors announced plans to sue Nessel, her department, and involved officials for malicious prosecution and abuse of power.
Meshawn Maddock, one of the victorious defendants, rightly called out Nessel as “perhaps the worst lawyer in the USA” for dodging a second humiliating loss while still clinging to her baseless narrative of culpability. Adding insult to injury, Nessel squandered taxpayer dollars on a self-serving 110-page report whining that the judge got it wrong—classic sore-loser behavior from a Democrat AG more interested in targeting conservatives than upholding justice. The electors’ case, led by aggressive counsel from Mohrman, Kaardal & Erickson, promises to hold government tyrants like Dana Nessel accountable when they weaponize their offices against everyday citizens fighting for fair elections, sending a clear message that such vindictive tactics will no longer go unchallenged.
Two brave Michigan Republican Party Electors, Meshawn Maddock and Marian Sheridan, who are well-known conservative activists in Michigan, were top targets of MI AG Dana Nessel.
On September 9, 2025, a very brave Whitmer-appointed Judge Kristen D. Simmons followed the law and dismissed all false charges against 15 (mostly senior citizen) 2020 Republican electors, filed by the state’s highly partisan Democrat Attorney General, Dana Nessel.

The 8 felony charges against the 15 electors would have carried life sentences for most of them:
COUNT 1: CONSPIRACY- TO COMMIT FORGERY- FELONY: 14 Years and/or $10,000.00 fine.
COUNT 2: FORGERY – FELONY: 14 Years
COUNT 3: FORGERY – FELONY: 14 Years
COUNT 4: CONSPIRACY- TO COMMIT UTTERING AND PUBLISHING – FELONY: 14 Years and/or $10,000.00 fine.
COUNT 5: UTTERING AND PUBLISHING – FELONY: 14 Years
COUNT 6: CONSPIRACY- TO COMMIT ELECTION LAW FORGERY – FELONY: 5 Years and/or $10,000.00 fine
COUNT 7: ELECTION LAW – FORGERY – FELONY: 5 Years and/or $1,000.00 fine.
COUNT 8: ELECTION LAW – FORGERY – FELONY: 5 Years and/or $1,000.00 fine.
MI AG Dana Nessel Told A Far-Left Group That If The Electors Case Went To Trial, They Would Not Get a Favorable Jury Pool
Recently, The Gatway Pundit shared a stunning video that showed MI AG Dana Nessel on a Zoom call with a far-left group, bragging about how, if the judge (Kristin Simmins) decides to send the alternate electors case to a jury trial, she’s set them up to be tried in the deep blue city of Lansing, MI, where it’s very likely they won’t get a fair jury trial. In other words, Michigan’s top law enforcement officer is mocking these 15 mostly senior citizens who are entitled to a fair trial but are unable to receive one.

During the testimony, the judge referred to the Republicans’ electoral votes as an “alternate” slate. The judge read the charges aloud to the court and reminded the court that the attorney general’s office needed to prove that the electors attempted to present a counterfeit or fraudulent document, calling them both “specific intent crimes.” The court examined the statutes and found that the prosecution failed to sufficiently prove its case.
Judge Simmons addressed the “Conspiracy to commit forgery” charges, stating that the prosecution would have to prove that the electors intended to defraud the government with the documents, which they could not do.
Judge Simmins openly admonished AG Dana Nessel for accusing her of delaying the trial, reminding her that she had to hold two separate trials due to the size of the defendant pool and the significant amount of testimony from the electors.
The judge also mentioned GOP Elector James Renner, who was granted immunity by the Attorney General’s office for helping prosecutors convict his fellow electors. Judge Simmons explained how Mr. Renner’s testimony actually helped the electors: “At the meeting, there was no intent to defraud anyone,” adding that the former Michigan State Police employee admitted he “would not have even attended the meeting if he thought there was going to be a crime committed!”
Judge Simmons reminded the court that the electors posed for a photo in the basement of the Republican Party headquarters in Lansing, where the alternate electors allegedly signed the documents. People who are committing a crime don’t pose for a photo, the judge said, adding “that would be weird!”
Agent Howard Shock, Attorney General Nessel’s only investigator on the case, turned out to be a disaster for her bogus case against the electors. On several occasions during his testimony, Judge Simmons was seen shaking her head and rolling her eyes at his incompetence. The judge said, “This is a fraud case, and I don’t believe there is enough evidence to prove it.” Agent Shock told the court there was no real distinction between James Renner and the other electors, as they were all doing their civic duty.”
“I believe they were exercising their constitutional rights to seek redress, and that’s based on the statements of all of the people’s witnesses. And for those reasons, these cases will not be bound over to the circuit court, and this case will be dismissed,” the judge proclaimed, which, in an age of far-left judicial activism, stunned the courtroom and left Michigan’s partisan-hack attorney general with a decision to make about how to proceed in her never-ending quest to use her elected position to punish her political enemies.
Sadly, U.S. Veteran John Haggard, one of the falsely accused electors who lived literally only moments after charges were dismissed against him, will not be able to participate in the lawsuit against Michigan’s dirty attorney general.

FBI’s iconic ‘Most Wanted’ list enters new era with unprecedented addition
For the first time in its more than 75-year history, the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list will include an alleged cybercriminal — and officials say it’s a sign of how today’s biggest threats don’t just carry guns, they carry malware.Anibal Aguirre, who also goes by “Prometheus,” becomes Fugitive No. 540 on the FBI’s most notorious roster. Investigators say he is the alleged architect behind a sweeping ATM “jackpotting” scheme that uses custom-built malware to force cash machines across the United States to spit out money on command. But authorities say this isn’t just high-tech theft.Federal prosecutors allege the operation funnels millions of dollars to Tren de Aragua (TdA), the violent Venezuelan transnational criminal organization that U.S. officials describe as a terrorist group.EXCLUSIVE: FBI CAPTURES LONGTIME FUGITIVE IN HONDURAS IN CONNECTION WITH 2000 KILLING OF PHILADELPHIA GIRL”The violent criminals on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list are the worst of the worst, and they are in the FBI’s sights,” FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement ahead of the announcement.”For more than 75 years, the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives program has been one of the FBI’s most powerful tools for bringing dangerous criminals to justice.”Patel makes clear the Bureau is counting on the public.FBI CAPTURES TOP TEN MOST WANTED FUGITIVE IN MEXICO SOUGHT OVER 2016 MURDER OF NC CO-WORKER”By sharing information about these fugitives with the public, we greatly expand the reach of our investigations,” he said. “Our message is simple: if you commit violent crimes or prey on innocent people, we will continue pursuing you — and with the public’s help, we will find you.”Prosecutors in the District of Nebraska have charged 93 defendants in connection with the broader conspiracy. Donny Osmond uses AI to sing with his 14-year-old self
Some stars spend their careers protecting the version of themselves that first made them famous. Donny Osmond took the opposite path. He built a career by evolving with the times and then kept going. Today, in his Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s, the legendary entertainer performs a duet with a digital version of his 14-year-old self, the same teenage Donny who captured hearts decades ago with hits like “Puppy Love.”The moment feels almost surreal on stage. Yet it also reflects something deeper about Osmond’s career. Instead of resisting technology or relying only on nostalgia, he has embraced new tools that allow him to reinterpret his own history in front of a live audience. That willingness to experiment with technology has helped him remain relevant for more than six decades in entertainment.Sign up for my FREE CyberGuy ReportGet my best tech tips, urgent security alerts and exclusive deals delivered straight to your inbox. Older fans know the teen idol who broke out with songs like “Puppy Love.” Others know him from Donny & Marie. Theater fans remember “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Younger audiences may know him as the singing voice of Captain Shang in Disney’s “Mulan.” Then there are reality TV fans who saw him win Dancing With the Stars or meet him again on The Masked Singer. That range gives him something rare in entertainment. He does not belong to just one era. He belongs to several. And instead of resisting that, he leans into it. Technology now plays a role in that connection as well.Osmond explained the idea when he sat down with me for my “Beyond Connected” podcast. The concept actually began decades ago when he started imagining what future technology might make possible. “Even when I was a teenager, I thought someday there’s going to be technology where John Wayne could be Obi-Wan Kenobi. And I was right!” Osmond said. That long-held fascination eventually led him to a simple question. “Why can’t I sing ‘Puppy Love’ with my 14-year-old self on stage?” Osmond said. The answer involved combining several forms of digital production, AI modeling and stage design.”The face is actually my 14-year-old face taken from pictures, the voice is my voice from interviews when I was 14, and the body is my 14-year-old grandson,” Osmond said. The result is a performance where two versions of Donny Osmond appear to share the stage at the same time. Many people assume the younger Donny is a hologram. Osmond said that is not the case. “It’s not a projection, like a laser projection. It’s not like a hologram. It’s a totally different technology,” Osmond explained.Instead, the illusion relies on a piece of stage technology known as a hollow box. The structure is built into the set and designed to look like a vintage recording booth on stage. Inside that space, advanced visual systems combine CGI, AI modeling and stage lighting to create the digital image of the younger Donny so it appears full-size and three-dimensional.The effect blends archived photos, computer-generated animation and voice samples from Osmond’s early interviews to recreate his teenage likeness. His grandson provides the physical body movement used to animate the performance. Standing just inches away from the illusion, Osmond can look directly at his younger self while singing. From the audience’s perspective, it appears as if the two performers are sharing the stage face-to-face in real time.Even after performing the sequence night after night, Osmond said the experience still surprises him. “I do it every night, and it never gets old. It’s like looking in the mirror 54 years ago,” Osmond said. For longtime fans, the moment connects the teenage star they remember with the seasoned performer he is today. The visual contrast tells the story of a career that has spanned generations.INSIDE MICROSOFT’S AI CONTENT VERIFICATION PLANOne of the most surprising parts of my conversation with Donny is that he does not sound like a celebrity who was dragged into modern tech. He sounds like the kid who would have loved being dropped into a maker lab. “Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve always been kind of a geek or nerd about technical things,” Osmond said. That curiosity still drives him today. He studies the tools behind his stage production and experiments with new ways to keep the show fresh. In many ways, technology has become another creative instrument. When I asked Donny which apps he uses the most, the answer revealed a different side of the performer. “I’d have to say, uh, Google Sheets because, uh, I’ve created algorithms,” Osmond said.He enjoys building detailed spreadsheets and analyzing data. His phone of choice is a foldable device that allows him to view larger spreadsheets easily. Osmond also embraces connected security technology. He said he uses cameras and smart alarm systems to monitor his homes, dressing room and other properties so he always knows what is happening around him.For someone known around the world as a singer and performer, it is an unexpectedly technical hobby.Artificial intelligence has sparked debate across music, film and media. Some artists worry about misuse or losing control of their voice and likeness. Osmond takes a balanced view. “Any technology put in the wrong hands can turn into nefarious things, but look at the good it can do,” Osmond said. From medicine to entertainment, he believes AI has the potential to drive major advances. “What a great time to be alive with today’s technology. It’s amazing to watch it all happen in real time,” Osmond said. At the same time, he believes society must stay engaged with technological progress rather than fear it. “If we run away from technology, other countries and other people are going to be way ahead of us,” Osmond said.Speaking of technology, Osmond says his music may already have made it into space. During our conversation, he said one of his songs was reportedly used to test the sound system on a spacecraft capsule. “They actually used my song ‘Start Again’ from my latest album to test the sound system on one of the capsules,” Osmond said.He then mentioned another story he has heard many times over the years. “When they went to the moon in the Apollo missions, and we did go to the moon, by the way, they took a tape of music with them. And on that music is Andy Williams singing ‘Aquarius.’ I’m singing background vocals on that song. They left the tape on the moon. My voice is sitting on the moon.”APPLE TAPS GOOGLE GEMINI TO POWER APPLE INTELLIGENCEOsmond also reflected on how today’s digital platforms might have changed his early career. “Can you imagine what I could have done during the ‘Puppy Love’ years with social media?” Osmond said.At the height of his teen idol fame, fans lined up outside television studios and concerts hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Today, that kind of connection often happens through social platforms and digital communities. It is one more example of how technology has reshaped the entertainment industry.Donny Osmond first rose to fame performing with his brothers as part of the Osmonds. The family group became a television sensation in the late 1960s and early 1970s with appearances on shows like “The Andy Williams Show.” Soon after, his sister Marie stepped into the spotlight, and the two became household names with their hit variety series “Donny & Marie.” Decades later, the siblings reunited for a highly successful Las Vegas residency that ran for more than a decade.Over the years, Osmond has released dozens of albums, starred in television shows, performed on Broadway and built a long-running Las Vegas career. Today, he headlines his own residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas, where he performs several nights a week. The show has been extended through May 2026, a testament to its continued popularity with audiences. Many younger fans now discover Osmond through social media clips, streaming platforms and live performances in Las Vegas.Technology now plays a role in how he connects with fans as well. Osmond keeps fans connected through the Donny app (donnyosmondapp.com), which brings together news, videos, tour updates and a timeline of his career in one place. Fans can also find tickets, show information and updates at Donny.com, the official website he referenced during our interview. Veteran Affairs’ newest effort to help homeless vets sparks mixed reactions
In a large shift in the war against veteran homelessness, the Trump administration has updated its policies to allow the government to step in to intervene on veterans’ behalf — but not everyone is happy about the change. The Department of Veterans Affairs announced Wednesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Justice in an effort to give veterans, some of whom are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, “the ongoing care they need.” ‘We owe our Veterans a debt we can never fully repay — but we can give them the support they deserve.’The agreement, according to the VA’s announcement, allows the DOJ to appoint VA attorneys as special assistant U.S. attorneys. Thus appointed, VA attorneys will have the legal authority to “initiate and participate in state court guardianship or conservatorship proceedings in cases where a legal decision-maker is required for post-acute transitions of care for these vulnerable Veterans.”The VA called these legal guardianships a “lifeline” for vulnerable veterans who do not have other options to protect their rights.RELATED: Homeless man found tied up in vacant home was brutally beaten with signs of torture, police say U.S. Secretary for Veterans Affairs Doug CollinsPhoto by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images“Our new partnership with the Justice Department reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every Veteran receives timely, appropriate care, even in complex cases,” said VA Secretary Doug Collins.“The Department of Justice is proud to partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs to support our nation’s brave Veterans by ensuring that they have the best legal resources available when it comes to making medical decisions and receiving timely care,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “We owe our Veterans a debt we can never fully repay — but we can give them the support they deserve.”The Trump administration made efforts in its first year to address homelessness in the pursuit of restoring public order. Specifically, President Trump signed an executive order near the end of July 2025 with the goal of “shifting individuals into long-term institutional settings for humane treatment through the appropriate use of civil commitment.” Michael Figlioli, the director of the National Veterans Service for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, commended the change, which he told the New York Times recognizes “that some of our nation’s most vulnerable veterans must be approached through a public health and social services framework.” However, others have raised concerns about veterans’ civil liberties. “The Trump-Vance administration is pursuing policies that would push hundreds, if not thousands, of veterans into institutions and court-ordered guardianships,” Rep. Mark Takano of California, the top Democrat on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, said to the New York Times. “Guardianship should always be a last resort, after all less restrictive options have been exhausted, to ensure veterans’ rights are respected,” Takano continued.According to the most recent data from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, an estimated 32,882 veterans were homeless on a single night in January 2024. Veterans make up roughly 5% of the homeless population in the United States, according to the same report. When asked for comment, Veterans Affairs directed Blaze News to the general number of the U.S. House of Representatives, a senator’s office, and the White House, none of which responded to a request for comment. The Department of Justice did not respond to a request for comment. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
CNN’s Abby Phillip eats crow after botched reporting on alleged ISIS-inspired bombing attempt in NYC
A CNN news anchor issued an on-air correction after she incorrectly stated that the alleged ISIS-inspired attack outside of New York City’s Gracie Mansion over the weekend targeted Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D).“Two Republicans say Muslims don’t belong here after an attempted terror attack against New York’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, and the House speaker, Mike Johnson, says nothing, really, to condemn those comments,” Phillip stated on Tuesday.’I incorrectly said that the bombs that were thrown by ISIS-inspired suspects in New York over the weekend were directed at Mayor Mamdani.’Phillip was referring to the attack allegedly carried out by Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, who were accused of igniting homemade explosive devices. One of those devices was allegedly thrown at a group of demonstrators protesting Islamic takeover of the city, and the other device was allegedly dropped near police officers. Both devices failed to detonate, and no injuries were reported.Phillip released a correction in a post on X the following day, writing, “The bombs thrown in New York City over the weekend by ISIS inspired attackers was thrown into a crowd of anti-Muslim protestors and not specifically targeted at Mayor Mamdani. That wording was inaccurate and I didn’t catch it ahead of time. I apologize for the error.”A community note was tacked onto Phillip’s post, reading, “The use of the word ‘specifically’ implies Mamdami [sic] may have been a target when this is factually incorrect based on every report and testimony from the two terrorists themselves. Bombs were thrown at protestors and police in order to injure/murder as many civilians as possible.”RELATED: ISIS-inspired? Here’s what we know about the weekend NYC terror attack suspects. Arizona’s Public Universities Require Honors Students To Study Far-Left Material, Including the ‘Relationship Between the White Female Gaze and the Eroticized Black Male Body’
The honors colleges at Arizona’s largest public universities have been “hijacked by activist faculty and turned into taxpayer-funded vehicles for leftwing groupthink,” according to an Arizona think tank report shared exclusively with the Washington Free Beacon, which found that over 70 percent of mandatory first-year seminars for Arizona State University honors students are loaded with racially divisive, anti-capitalist, and anti-Israel reading material.
ASU’s Barrett Honors College requires that new students take a course called “The Human Event,” described on the university’s website as a “year-long, small, intensive, interdisciplinary, discussion-based seminar” that “forms the foundation of the first-year honors experience.” That website shows a “sample” reading list for the course composed entirely of classic works including those by Plato, Machiavelli, and Shakespeare. The Goldwater Institute, though, obtained the actual syllabus for “The Human Event” through a public records request. The list, which is not published online, includes books that claim the “patriarchy” controls society and that Israel enforces “militantly oppressive discriminations between Jews and non-Jews,” among other concepts.
One seminar session is almost entirely composed of left-wing ideological readings, including Black Skin, White Masks by Frantz Fanon, a 1960s philosopher who advocated for violence in the name of “decolonization”; Sexual Politics by Kate Millett, which argues that society is controlled by the “patriarchy”; and an interview with Angela Davis, a militant black power activist and former Communist Party USA member.
In a lesson on Israel, both required readings—one by a Palestinian writer and one by an Israeli journalist—depicted Zionism as a “violent” movement that victimizes Palestinians. The course requires students to read Zionism from the Standpoint of Its Victims by Edward W. Said, who argued that Zionism entails “militantly oppressive discriminations between Jews and non-Jews.” The other required reading, Israeli journalist Ari Shavit’s Lydda, 1948, also framed Zionism as inherently violent, claiming “Zionism had carried out a massacre in the city of Lydda” because “Zionism could not bear the Arab city of Lydda.”
Another seminar session involved discussions of “violence and and capitalism, power and powerlessness, Europeanness and Africanness … political power and violence, physical violence and environmental violence,” according to documents obtained by the Goldwater Institute. Instructors asked students to “formulate questions” like, “What is the relationship between the white female gaze and the eroticized Black male body in the text?”
Other reading materials for the course included Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed, which applies a Marxist lens to the education system; Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o’s Decolonising the Mind, which argues that the English language is a tool of oppression; and skits about immigration by left-wing activist and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah. Other readings, the Goldwater Institute found, “promote identity politics and narratives of systemic oppression, including essays on ‘Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Experience’ and ‘Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex.’”
The University of Arizona’s Franke Honors College also requires students to participate in left-wing classes. One course, “Eating the Globe: The Diverse, Weird, and Queer Food Politics,” focuses on whether food can be “colonized and decolonized.” Another, “#Black Lives Matter Across the Americas,” examines “racial violence as in the case of police brutality (as targeted by Black Lives Matter activists in the U.S.)”
Neither the University of Arizona nor Arizona State University responded to requests for comment.
The Goldwater Institute report further demonstrates that public universities outside the Northeast are not immune from left-wing indoctrination. Earlier this month, the University of Florida removed a syllabus for a graphic design course that offered potential accommodations to “queer and trans students, BIPOC students, first-gen students, and students navigating complex lives,” the Free Beacon reported. That language, which appeared on a spring 2026 syllabus, violated a regulation the Florida Board of Governors passed in November 2023. While Arizona does not have laws on the books that specifically relate to the curricula, Timothy Minella, director of higher education at the Goldwater Institute’s Van Sittert Center for Constitutional Advocacy, emphasized the fact that both universities are public and funded by the taxpayer.
“Rather than provide rigorous academic experience for the state’s best and brightest students, the honors colleges at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona have been hijacked by activist faculty and turned into taxpayer-funded vehicles for leftwing groupthink and unserious and ideological pet projects,” he wrote, urging Arizona lawmakers to step in and “stop subsidizing activist research that fails to advance human knowledge.”
