Melissa Gilbert did not mince words as she described the fallout from the child sexual abuse charges husband Timothy Busfield now faces.Gilbert, 61, claimed this has been “the most traumatizing experience of our lives,” and admitted the allegations have upended their future for good.”What has this whole episode been like for you?” George Stephanopoulos asked Gilbert in a preview of a sit-down interview on “Good Morning America.” “Hell,” Gilbert responded.”Our life as we knew it is done,” she quickly explained. “We are grieving what we had – all of our plans, all of our dreams, all of our ideas, all of our projects. Harris ripped over video previewing Trump speech she claims she wouldn’t watch: ‘Sit this one out’
Former Vice President Kamala Harris drew a sharp rebuke from conservatives on social media Wednesday where she previewed President Donald Trump’s address to the nation on Iran. “He brought America into a war that people don’t want, he has put American troops in harm’s way, costs are rising by the day, and meanwhile he has done nothing to address the needs of the people of America,” Harris posted on X before Trump’s Wednesday night speech to the nation, a speech Harris says in the video she “won’t be able” to watch. Harris predicted Trump would attempt to “claim victory” in Iran but the “reality is we’re watching what he does instead of listening to what he says.” The video, viewed almost 3 million times on X, was widely panned by conservatives who pointed to high prices during the Biden administration, other criticisms of the administration, and Harris’s political ambitions.KAMALA HARRIS HARSHLY CRITIQUES PRESIDENT TRUMP’S SOTU SPEECH WHICH TRIGGERS RESPONSE FROM WHITE HOUSE”It’s pretty disgraceful for you to claim President Trump has done nothing to meet the needs of the American people,” Republican Rep. Nepal probe exposes $20M fraudulent rescue scheme involving lacing Mt Everest hikers’ food: report
An investigation has exposed a nearly $20 million insurance scam in Nepal involving guides who allegedly fake or induce mountainside rescues, including by lacing the food of some hikers near Mt. Everest, according to a report by The Kathmandu Post.Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal, where some adventurous individuals go to climb Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. The mountain sits on the border of Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.MIKE TOBIN DOCUMENTS DARING MOUNT EVEREST CLIMB IN NEW FOX NATION SPECIALThe Kathmandu Post reported that after it highlighted the fraud in 2018, the government established a fact-finding committee, issued a 700-page report and declared reforms. But last year, the Nepal Police’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) reopened the matter and discovered that the fraud was increasing. The outlet indicated that the CIB probe points out two main fraudulent scenarios. One involves guides suggesting to tired adventurers who do not want to walk back that if they feign illness, a chopper will pick them up, according to The Kathmandu Post. The outlet reported that in the other scenario, guides and hotel staff, according to the CIB probe, have been coached to scare trekkers at high altitude, where altitude sickness can occur. They allegedly claim that the trekkers are in danger of dying, and that only immediate evacuation will spare them. In some instances, investigators discovered that Diamox (Acetazolamide) tablets, utilized to prevent altitude sickness, were given in conjunction with excessive water intake to cause the symptoms that would give grounds for a rescue, the outlet reported. In at least one instance noted in the investigation, guides allegedly laced food with baking powder to cause people to be unwell, the outlet stated.AMERICAN JIM MORRISON MAKES HISTORY SKIING DOWN MOUNT EVEREST, DEDICATES RUN TO LATE PARTNERPolice recorded a case where four individuals were picked up on one chopper flight, but insurance claims were filed as more than one separate rescue, the report noted. The framework tying the system of mass fraud together was detailed in police interrogations, according to the outlet, which reported that hospitals shell out 20% to 25% of the insurance money to trekking businesses and 20% to 25% to chopper rescue operators in return for patient referrals. Trekking guides and their businesses get a boost from inflated invoices, the outlet suggested. In some instances, tourists are offered money to join in the scam, The Kathmandu Post added. In the period between 2022 and 2025, investigators found a whopping 4,782 foreign patients serviced at implicated hospitals, with 171 cases verified as fraudulent rescues, the outlet reported. During that span of time, Era International Hospital raked in deposits of over $15.87 million tied to such activities and Shreedhi International Hospital got more than $1.22 million, the outlet reported.Mountain Rescue Service carried out 171 fake rescues from an overall 1,248 charter flights, scoring around $10.31 million from insurers, the outlet reported, adding that Nepal Charter Service executed 75 fake rescues out of 471 flights, claiming $8.2 million, and Everest Experience and Assistance was tied to 71 suspicious rescues out of 601 flights, with claims of $11.04 million.HELICOPTER CRASHES INTO OCEAN OFF HAWAII COAST, LEAVING MULTIPLE DEAD AND INJUREDCIB charged 32 people last month with offenses against the state and organized crime, the outlet reported, noting that nine individuals were arrested while others were said to be absconding.Individuals from Mountain Helicopters, Altitude Air, and Manang Air, which was rebranded as Basecamp Helicopters, as well as physicians and administrators with Swacon International Hospital, Shreedhi International Hospital and Era International Hospital were numbered among the individuals who have been charged, the outlet indicated.
US Reportedly in Secret Talks With Denmark to Significantly Boost Military Presence in Greenland
The future of Greenland is reportedly being decided in secret negotiations
The US National Security concerns about the Arctic will be addressed, one way or another.
And so, we’ve come to the point where a lot seems to have changed regarding the situation of the Arctic island of Greenland.
On the one hand, Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called snap elections, trying to use her resistance to Donald J. Trump’s designs on Greenland to guarantee another term, but in the end, she had the worst voting for her dominant party in a century.
So, now Frederiksen has renounced and is working as a caretaker PM, while she negotiates with other parties, hoping to remain at the helm.
Meanwhile, the US is involved in a high-stakes military operation in Iran, and Trump has told anyone who’ll listen that ‘Cuba is next’ – so, maybe this is not the ideal moment to seize Greenland and deal with the potential military reaction by former Euro-Globalist ‘allies’.
So, perhaps it is not so surprising that the US began ‘secret talks’ with Denmark to ‘increase its military presence’ in Greenland.
BREAKING:
The New York Times writes has the U.S. has asked Denmark to expand its military presence in Greenland from 1 base to 4 bases.
If the deal goes through, the U.S. would reopen its old military bases in Narsarsuaq and Kangerlussuaq pic.twitter.com/MmjAX1pg6F

Washington is reportedly seeking access to three bases to set up airfields and ports.
The Telegraph reported:
“The talks are being held under a 1951 defense pact between Denmark and the United States that allows the latter to build and expand military sites in Greenland, a Danish overseas territory.”
BREAKING : U.S. is in talks with Denmark to gain access to three more military bases in Greenland, expanding its Arctic footprint and strategic presence beyond the existing Pituffik Space Base amid rising geopolitical tensions.

“Pituffik Space Base is currently the sole US military base in Greenland, on its north-west coast. Operating since the 1951 US-Denmark treaty, it is central to the US early warning and missile defense as well as space surveillance.
Lt-Cdr Teresa C Meadows, a US Northern Command spokesman, said the US wished to expand bases near the southern town of Narsarsuaq and Kangerlussuaq, in the western region.”

‘Heroes’: Trump says Gold Star families told him to ‘finish the job’ in Iran
President Donald Trump said the families of fallen soldiers told him to “finish the job” in Iran.
“Every single one of the people their loved ones said, ‘Please sir, please finish the job,’” Trump said in a primetime address to the nation on Wednesday night.
The address marked one month since the United States launched Operation Epic Fury against Iran.
Trump drew special attention to the American soldiers who lost their lives in the campaign.
“As we celebrate this progress, we think especially of the 13 American warriors who have laid down their lives to prevent our children from ever having to face nuclear Iran,” Trump said.
Trump recalled why he has traveled to Dover Air Force Base twice in the past month to witness dignified transfers.
“I wanted to be with those heroes as they returned to American soil,” he said. “We salute them and now we must honor them by completing the mission for which they gave their lives.”
The president also claimed the American mission has been successful.

Their leaders, most of them… are now dead,” he said. “Their command and control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated as we speak. Their ability to launch missiles and drones is dramatically curtailed, and their weapons, factories, and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces.”
“Our enemies are losing, and America, as it has been for five years under my presidency, is winning, and now, winning bigger than ever before,” Trump continued.

OpenAI Snaps Up TBPN, Slashes ChatGPT Pricing As Secondary Market Interest Fades
Update (1400ET): In a surprise move, OpenAI has acquired TBPN (Technology Business Programming Network), the influential daily technology talk show and media platform hosted by John Coogan and Jordi Hays. TBPN has become one of Silicon Valley’s most-watched programs for real-time tech news, M&A rumors, high-profile executive interviews, and AI developments – often described as “SportsCenter for the tech industry.” The deal gives OpenAI a powerful owned-media channel to directly reach and engage the tech community while accelerating global conversations around AI. The show will continue unchanged: live weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT on YouTube and X, with Coogan and Hays retaining full creative control and editorial independence.

At the same time, OpenAI is accelerating its consumer growth push by expanding access to its lower-priced ChatGPT Go subscription tier. Priced at roughly $8 per month in the US (a ~60% discount to the $20 ChatGPT Plus plan), Go delivers expanded access to GPT-5.3, higher message limits, more file uploads, image generation, and longer memory. The tier – first introduced in select markets last year and rolled out globally earlier in 2026 — is now being made available in dozens of additional countries as OpenAI seeks to drive mass adoption and daily usage ahead of intensifying competition.
These announcements appear designed to bolster OpenAI’s growth narrative and consumer momentum at a moment when secondary-market demand for its shares has cooled sharply (as detailed in our reporting below).
* * *
Interest in OpenAI’s stock on secondary markets has cooled sharply, with some large investors now struggling to find buyers according to Bloomberg.
At the same time, capital is rapidly shifting toward its main rival, Anthropic, where demand is surging.
In recent weeks, holders of OpenAI shares—including hedge funds and venture firms—have tried to offload roughly $600 million in stock, but unlike before, buyers haven’t stepped in. Platforms that once saw quick turnover now report little to no interest. Meanwhile, investors are actively setting aside billions to gain exposure to Anthropic instead.
Much of this shift comes down to valuation and perceived upside. OpenAI’s valuation has climbed to around $852 billion, leaving some investors unsure how much room remains for near-term gains. Anthropic, valued significantly lower, is increasingly viewed as having more growth potential, making it a more attractive bet right now.
The Bloomberg report notes that major banks like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are adjusting—offering OpenAI shares with reduced fees to spark interest, while continuing to charge typical performance fees for Anthropic investments.
There are also strategic concerns. OpenAI is spending heavily on infrastructure and has been slower to expand into high-margin enterprise markets. Anthropic, by contrast, has gained stronger traction with those clients, reinforcing expectations of faster growth.
That said, Anthropic isn’t without issues, including legal disputes and recent security missteps. Still, investor appetite remains extremely strong, with secondary demand pushing its implied valuation far higher, while OpenAI shares are increasingly trading at a discount.
