Why Are White Liberal Women Identifying With A Child Murderer?

Why Are White Liberal Women Identifying With A Child Murderer?

Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity News,

Three innocent children are dead. Their mother has admitted killing them. And yet a growing chorus of white liberal women on TikTok and beyond is racing to cast her as the real victim, pouring money into her family’s fundraiser and filming themselves relating to the confessed killer while cradling their own babies.

Lindsay Clancy strangled her three children – Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, then 8 months – with exercise bands in the basement of the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts home on January 24, 2023. She then cut her wrists and neck and jumped from a second-story window, leaving herself paralyzed and wheelchair-bound.

Her defense does not dispute that she killed the children. Attorney Kevin Reddington has told the court she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible. Prosecutors maintain she acted intentionally, rationally, and with premeditation.

?? UPDATE — A GoFundMe linked to Lindsay Clancy has reached nearly $900,000 from over 27,000 contributors after she admitted murdering her three children.

The trial is ongoing in Plymouth Superior Court; the prosecution recently rested after calling more than 70 witnesses, and the defense is now presenting its case, including testimony from Clancy’s mother about her daughter’s mental decline and pleas for help.

None of that has stopped the online transformation of a triple child murder into a cause for certain women. Clancy’s parents, Mike and Paula Musgrove, have a GoFundMe that has rocketed past $900,000 – approaching $1M from more than 27,000 donors – with a $2 million goal.

The money is framed as covering the couple’s travel, lodging, and living costs after they relocated from Connecticut to stand by their daughter through the proceedings. Supportive comments on the page frequently emphasize her mental-health struggles more than the three dead children. Funds are earmarked for the parents’ ongoing costs during the trial.

Critics note that crowdfunding platforms have rules against funding criminal defense, and some have called for the campaign to be reported. Others see the outpouring as further evidence that large numbers of women are prioritizing gender solidarity over the basic reality that three children were murdered by their own mother.

That solidarity has spilled into TikTok in especially unsettling ways. Women have posted videos declaring Clancy the winner of a trial that is still underway, claiming she “proved” postpartum psychosis the moment she killed her children. The jury has not decided anything. The judge has not ruled on the central question of criminal responsibility. Yet creators speak as if the outcome is already settled in her favor.

Others go further, insisting Clancy is actually innocent despite her own admissions, her lawyer’s opening statements, her husband’s 911 call in which he screamed that she had killed the kids, and the civil lawsuit she filed against her therapists that explicitly acknowledges she killed her own children.

Some have hung out windows or filmed themselves in performative displays to argue her innocence. One widely circulated reaction asked whether these women are bored, lonely, or simply completely detached from reality.

Retards are hanging out their windows to try to prove Lindsay Clancy is innocent despite the fact she has already admitted to murdering her children.

The pattern is familiar to observers of recent high-profile cases: a refusal to accept female accountability when the facts are inconvenient. As one commentator noted, it does not matter to this cohort that Clancy admitted the murders, just as it did not matter that Amber Heard admitted lying about abuse. The priority is that women not be held fully responsible.

It doesn’t matter to them that Lindsay Clancy admitted to murder.

Even more alarming are the videos in which mothers film themselves relating to Clancy while holding their own infants. Women have recorded themselves discussing identification with the child killer while cradling babies.

Bad enough to “relate” to a child killer. To do it while holding your baby is, to put it mildly, an alarming decision. pic.twitter.com/AyVCtxyBPQ

Critics have called the decision to film such material with children an alarming one, with some arguing it should prompt child protective services involvement.

One single mother went further still, asserting that any man who believes Clancy should go to prison for murdering her children probably abuses his wife. She added that she is “just waiting for some man out there to prove to me that there are some good ones.”

Single mom says any man who thinks Lindsay Clancy, who admitted to murdering her kids, should go to prison probably abuses their wife.

— Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) August 18, 2026

The response was swift and withering: the women who claim to be searching for good men are often the same ones who date the worst of them, and the demand that men prove themselves by refusing to call a child killer a child killer is a particularly inverted form of accountability.

Clancy’s defense attorney admitted in opening statements that she killed her children. She has filed a lawsuit against her therapists that also admits the killings. Her husband testified about the night he discovered the bodies and about a later phone call in which she described hearing a man’s voice telling her that if she did not act she would lose her chance.

That hasn’t stopped the conspiratards. pic.twitter.com/8YvYAFIGDb
— Douglass Mackey (@douglassmackey) August 17, 2026

None of this has deterred the conspiracy theories that the husband somehow framed her, or the broader insistence that the medical system alone is to blame and that Clancy herself bears no criminal responsibility that should result in prison.

Here’s an example. This has 396k likes. https://t.co/43Avr9IWIW pic.twitter.com/uahrdXsqbP
— End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) August 16, 2026

Mental illness is real. Postpartum psychosis is real and can be considered at sentencing. But it does not erase what happened. Three children are dead because their mother killed them. That is the central, undisputed fact of the case.

The spectacle of women identifying with the killer, fundraising for her parents at near-million-dollar levels, and filming themselves relating to her while holding their own kids reveals something deeper than sympathy for mental illness. It reveals a cultural refusal, concentrated among a particular demographic of women, to prioritize murdered children over a narrative of female victimhood.

WATCH: Christian mom who spoke out against transgender policies blocked from son’s graduation

August 19, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: Uncategorized

Allison Roberts
A Christian mom is suing Portland Public Schools after officials barred her from her children’s elementary school for a year in alleged retaliation for criticizing its transgender policies.
“What the district said was, ‘Be quiet, or we will take your children away from you,’ essentially—at eight hours a day, nine months out of the year, you’re going to essentially take my children from me,” Allison Roberts, the mother, told the Daily Signal in an interview Friday.
Roberts has an elder child who graduated from Meriwether Lewis Elementary School more than a decade ago, and two younger children who both attended the school in the 2025-2026 school year. Yet she missed her son’s graduation from the school this year because police issued a trespass order against her based on what she alleges was a false principal report aimed at silencing her speech against transgender policies.
Roberts is suing Portland Public Schools; the district’s senior director of schools, Chandra Wilson-Cooper; and Lewis Elementary’s principal, Deanne Froehlich. She claims the defendants violated her First Amendment right to free speech by retaliating against her speech and discriminating against her based on her viewpoint, and violated her First Amendment right to free exercise of religion by imposing transgender ideology.

Allison Roberts became concerned when a Portland elementary school added an Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag to school benches and her eleven-year-old child received an “identity flower” assignment.

— Liberty Justice Center (@LJCenter) August 19, 2026

The ‘Identity Flower’
The case traces back to October, when Roberts’ 11-year-old child brought home an “identity flower” assignment from the pro-transgender group GLSEN.
According to the GLSEN lesson plan for the assignment, teachers instruct students to list their “gender identity” in the flower’s “gender” petal. It instructs teachers to explain to students, “You may identify as a girl or a boy. If you don’t feel like a boy or a girl, you might just identify as a person. Maybe none of these words feel like you today. Or maybe you feel like a girl or a boy today, but later that word doesn’t seem to fit.”
After a meeting with the principal, her child’s teacher, and a counselor produced no real answers or results, Roberts drafted an open letter to the school community in January. She stood on the public sidewalk outside the front of the school, distributing the letter.
The Trespass Order
On Feb. 5, while picking up her kids from school, Roberts spoke with another mother and her husband, according to the lawsuit. After Roberts revealed that she had voted for President Donald Trump, the husband reportedly shouted, “White people are disgusting!” Roberts told him that he was being racist and left the area.
The next morning, police served Roberts with a trespass order.
Froehlich, the principal, said the school was banning Roberts from campus for one year for “threatening and intimidating members of the school community.”
The order states that “during dismissal, a parent approached another parent and began engaging in racial harassment, intimidation, and threatening behavior.”
Froehlich and Wilson-Cooper, the school district’s senior director of schools, sent an email to the student body the same day.
“During dismissal, a parent approached another parent and began engaging in racial harassment, intimidation, and threatening behavior,” the email stated. “Unfortunately, this is not the first time this individual has made Lewis families and students feel unsafe. Over the past several months, we have observed a pattern of racial animus and harassment targeting vulnerable members of our community.”
The email went on to state that “hate speech and discriminatory behavior have no place at Lewis.” Roberts denies the allegations and argues that the school falsely characterized her speech.
Threat of Future Action
Roberts penned another open letter to the community. In response, Wilson-Cooper sent an email noting that the letter “specifically names Lewis staff and Lewis community members.”
“This is continued harassment which was the basis of your trespass on February 6, 2026,” the school district leader wrote. “I am sending you this as a written warning to cease all forms of harassment towards any Lewis community and staff members to include written, physical and verbal interactions.”
“Failure to comply with these expectations may result in an extension of your trespass including up to indefinitely and/or across all [Portland Public Schools] campuses.”
Roberts argues that this warning effectively threatened her with permanent exile from the school if she continued criticizing district officials.
Roberts responded with a series of questions, including, “Am I prohibited from discussing Principal Froelich with another parent? Am I prohibited from speaking about Lewis Elementary at a grocery store, on a sidewalk, online, or in a private text message? I am asking PPS to distinguish harassment from protected public speech.”
First Amendment Violations
The lawsuit claims Froelich and the school district violated Roberts’ First Amendment rights through retaliation, discrimination, and by imposing transgender policies with no opt-out provision.
“For time immemorial, going back to the Revolutionary War era, public participation by handing out pamphlets or letters on the sidewalk is something that is afforded the highest constitutional scrutiny and protection,” Timothy Snowball, senior counsel for the Liberty Justice Center’s PARENTS Initiative and Roberts’ attorney, told the Daily Signal in an interview Friday.
He emphasized that the school district characterized Roberts’ speech as “hate speech,” even though the Constitution recognizes no such category. “They made very clear through that statement and other statements that their actions were motivated by what she was saying.”
He also noted that Roberts is challenging the school district’s transgender policies, citing the Supreme Court precedent Mahmoud v. Taylor (2025), which upheld parents’ religious freedom to raise their kids according to their faith.
“Portland is not exempt from the Constitution,” Snowball noted.
Portland Public Schools did not respond to the Daily Signal’s request for comment.

AEW’s Adam Copeland talks enormous reaction from crowd at Arena México: ‘Very blessed and lucky’

August 19, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: Uncategorized

Adam Copeland shared a list of famous venues he wanted to compete in during the next stage of the year earlier this month. The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star included Arena México in the bullet points as well as Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto and Tokyo Dome in Japan.Copeland received his chance to compete at Arena México on Aug. 5 when AEW held Grand Slam Mexico at the facility. He competed in an eight-man tag team match with Christian Cage and Matt and Nick Jackson.COMPLETE PRO WRESTLING COVERAGE ON OUTKICKIt was the first match of the night and the arena exploded when Alter Bridge’s “Metalingus” blared through the speakers. It was so loud that AEW commentator Tony Schiavone said on his “What Happened When” podcast he never experienced a pop like that in his career.Copeland told Fox News Digital that it was the loudest reaction he felt since he was in WWE and made his return to the ring at the 2020 Royal Rumble.”He had text me. He goes, ‘I’ve never heard anything like that in my years.’ And that’s saying something, which Schiavone’s heard some stuff, you know, so I was like, ‘Whoa, man.’ And I knew even that night, as I came out, it was one of those where you kind of leave your body for a second and you’re there, but you’re kind of somewhere else soaking it in,” Copeland told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. “I don’t know how to explain it. The only other time that that’s happened was at the (2020) Rumble when I came back.”So, I feel like those two and I mean, I’m very, very blessed and lucky that in this comeback I’ve had a lot of really great reactions, and the fans have really come out to support and I think also understand like, ‘Hey, this ain’t supposed to be happening and this is limited so we better enjoy it while we got it kind of thing,’ and me too. But that one was special. I put a post and I could feel it in my bones like it felt like I was the Memorex guy in that commercial. Like it blew my hair back. I was just like oh whoa. It’s so much to process it.”ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!Copeland admitted that one of the toughest parts of the night was to come down from the electric crowd afterward. He said he had to try to find something to get him to relax so he could finally fall asleep.”The hardest thing about a night like that is back in the hotel after because you’re wired for sound,” he said. “You’re just like … now and I’ve found that I now have to do things to kind of go, right, OK, wrestling’s gone now. Let’s, I don’t know, I’ll watch an episode of ‘Northern Exposure’ or I’ll like, you know, just try and bring down the fight or flight that kind of reaction, you know, it hits you in the heart, man, in a very good way. But you also want to be able to sleep. So yeah, that that’s what I’ve always found is the battle.”But yeah, man. I mean, you can’t have a night like that and just be thankful, for all of it and thankful that people this far along still remember or care. And I think it’s one of those kind of reciprocal things where Mexico knows I wasn’t there for 18 years and chances are I’m not getting back. And I’m not, so I think we all kind of understand, let’s enjoy this thing, man because I’m getting to wrestle in Arena Mexico for the first and last time. That’s fun. That’s fun.”Copeland and Cage are set to take on The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All In – the biggest event on the AEW calendar. They captured the tag titles at Double or Nothing in a tag team I Quit match at Double or Nothing.Copeland and Cage, whose real name is Jay Reso, started Pure Plank nearly two years ago in an effort to help others get healthy.Copeland told Fox News Digital he still has people coming up to him thanking him for helping them to get healthy.”When you start to help people find a path to getting healthier, you can knock a path down, but whether people get on the path is up to them, right? We just assumed with planking it’s a path that doesn’t seem too demoralizing or too intimidating,” he said. “It’s like, no, you just get down to 30 seconds. Start there. Start with 30 and anybody can start with 30 seconds and that’s going to be hard at first and then move on.”And hopefully the trickle-down effect from that is I’m feeling better, right? I’m not carrying that kettlebell full of gut anymore. Now I could incorporate a full workout. Now I could incorporate yoga. Now I could incorporate whatever you want to try and incorporate. I could kayak now. I can this. I can that. To me, it’s kind of like the gateway and planking was the gateway for Jay and I to get back in shape except this is a positive of gateway.”

House Democrat accused of sexual assault after admitting to ‘consensual’ encounter
