Wounded veterans visited President Donald Trump in the Oval Office and an funny incident had those in attendence in hysterics.

The President meets with the veterans for the signing of Executive Orders signings.

Trump told the group, “There’s no group of people more important than the people in this room… and they’re going to be taken really well cared of — It’s really important to me.”

Trump was asked to sign one of the men’s prosthetic leg, when a sticker caught his eye.

He asked, “Who’s that picture?”

The veteran answered, “That is Joe Biden — and it says ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’”

The room erupted in laughter.

President Trump took out his pen to sign over the image, saying, “I can’t stand this guy. You know why? Because he did a rotten job. He should have never been president.”

After he signed it, he quipped, “With this pen, it will never, ever, come off.”

“I put it right over his mouth, which he didn’t use very much.”

The Fourth Circuit’s recent ruling in Longworth v. Mansukhani shines a damning light on the systemic failures of America’s federal prison system, where vulnerable inmates face horrific abuse with no recourse. The Longworth case exposes sexual abuse and retaliation within federal facilities. It also highlights how prisoners cannot count on the government or the court’s to hold their captors accountable. The broken prison system and the broken judicial system represent a crisis that should be bipartisan and demands urgent attention.

A Vulnerable Inmate’s Nightmare

Justin Longworth, a former inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Butner, North Carolina (FCI Butner), alleged he was subjected to repeated sexual abuse by a female prison guard, Sherry M. Beck, from 2017 to 2018. According to his complaint, Beck, the Secretary of Facilities, used her authority to coerce Longworth into non-consensual sexual acts, including forced oral sex, groping, kissing, and biting. Longworth, who had a documented history of childhood sexual abuse and mental health issues, including bipolar disorder and PTSD, was particularly vulnerable. Beck’s abuse didn’t stop at physical acts—she allegedly manipulated him through coercion and bribery, even demanding he tattoo her initials on his body.

When Longworth finally reported the abuse, the prison retaliated against him. Prison officials, including wardens Andrew Mansukhani and Anthony T. Scarantino, allegedly punished him by firing him from his work assignment and placing him in solitary confinement. Meanwhile, Beck faced no immediate consequences until an investigation led to her termination—but no further legal or criminal action was taken. Even after her termination, Beck continued to harass Longworth with sexually explicit and threatening letters at his new facility in Petersburg, Virginia.

This case is a stark reminder of the crisis in our federal prisons, where inmates are at the mercy of those in power. Yet, Democrat politicians like Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen seem more preoccupied with preventing the deportation of non-citizen criminal aliens to El Salvador than addressing the plight of American inmates suffering under their watch.

No Accountability from the DOJ

The Longworth case is not an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of unaddressed abuse in federal facilities. In October of 2021, when Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene exposed the horrifying conditions at the D.C. Jail (a.k.a the “D.C. Gulag”) where J6ers and hundreds of others were being held, she forced the U.S. Marshals to conduct an inspection. The inspection revealed shocking human rights violations reminiscent of a third-world country. The November 1, 2021, report documented standing human sewage in cells, water and food withheld for punitive reasons, pervasive drug use, and staff antagonizing detainees. Detainees had observable injuries with no medical records, and the Marshals caught prison staff threatening inmates who wished to cooperate with the Marshals inspections and telling the inmates to “stop snitching.” The irony is that many of the J6ers who were told not to “snitch” to the Marshals were being held pretrial and facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly violating 18 U.S.C. 1512, a witness tampering statute. The Supreme Court found that the DOJ illegally charged the J6ers with that crime, yet their captors at the D.C. Gulag were caught red-handed in clear violation of the very same crime, and yet charges were never brought against them.

Because Rep. Greene forced the issue, D.C. Judge Royce C. Lamberth, no friend of the J6ers, had no choice but to hold the D.C. Jail Warden Wanda Patten and D.C. Department of Corrections Director Quincy Booth in civil contempt. In the same order, Lamberth ordered the DOJ to investigate, but years later, there’s no evidence the DOJ has taken action. There were no consequences for Quincy Booth, Wanda Patten, and the staff that obstructed official proceedings by tampering with witnesses during the Marshals’ inspection. This inaction mirrors the lack of accountability in Longworth’s case, where serious allegations of sexual abuse and retaliation have gone uninvestigated.

A Legal System That Protects the Government

Perhaps the most infuriating aspect of Longworth’s case is how the legal system prevented his claims from ever reaching a jury. Longworth pursued two legal avenues to seek justice: a Bivens action and a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) claim. A Bivens claim allows individuals to sue federal employees directly for constitutional violations, like the Fourth and Eighth Amendment violations Longworth alleged against Beck and other officials. An FTCA claim, on the other hand, allows suits against the United States for torts (wrongful acts) committed by federal employees.

Longworth, cautiously, filed both claims to cover his bases. His Bivens suit targeted Beck for sexual assault and the other defendants for deliberate indifference, while his FTCA suit accused the U.S. government of negligence in supervising Beck. Both claims rested on the same facts: Beck’s sexual abuse and the prison’s failure to intervene. But this prudent approach backfired due to a legal trap known as the FTCA’s “judgment bar.”

The district court dismissed Longworth’s Bivens claims, finding they didn’t fit within the narrow scope of Bivens precedent, and later dismissed his FTCA claim for lack of jurisdiction, ruling that the prison official who sexual abused him wasn’t acting within the scope of her employment during the abuse. Longworth appealed the Bivens dismissal, but the Fourth Circuit dismissed the appeal entirely, citing the FTCA judgment bar (28 U.S.C. § 2676). This provision states that a judgment in an FTCA case bars any subsequent action against the employee for the same conduct. Since the FTCA claim was dismissed on the merits, Longworth’s Bivens appeal was barred—despite being filed first.

In plain English, Longworth’s claims of sexual abuse were thrown out because his lawyer made a procedural error when navigating the complicated system. The judge, fully aware of the serious allegations of sexual abuse, cover-up, and retaliation, used a technicality to prevent any accountability through the legal system. It’s as if the court said, “Sorry you were subjected to rape and torture by prison staff, and they may still be abusing others, but you filed the wrong paperwork, so we can’t help you.” This gatekeeping by judges ensures that government institutions like the Bureau of Prisons face no scrutiny, and victims like Longworth, J6ers, and thousands of other abused prisoners, are denied their day in court.

A Bipartisan Crisis Demanding Action

The Longworth case exposes three interconnected crises: a broken prison system, a DOJ that refuses to investigate, and a judicial system shields abusive government officials from recourse or accountability. These issues transcend party lines. No one—left, right, or center—should tolerate a system where inmates are sexually abused, silenced, and denied justice due to legal technicalities. The Trump administration has an opportunity to win bipartisan support by directing the DOJ to investigate federal prison abuses, starting with the D.C. Gulag. The D.C. Gulag’s human rights violations and violations of 18 U.S.C. 1512 were already well documented by the U.S. Marshals. The DOJ should be directed by President Trump to work with the J6ers, who can serve as key witnesses, to bring the perpetrators to justice and stop the abuse that occurred – and may still be occurring – within walking distance of the White House, the Capitol, and the Department of Justice Headquarters.

The Trump Administration pulled off an incredibly creative move to humiliate an activist judge trying to stop them from deporting dangerous illegal aliens.

As Axios reported, Team Trump revealed on Wednesday how they managed to avoid violating a federal judge’s restraining order barring them from deporting certain illegals.

U.S. District Court Judge Brian E. Murphy, a Biden appointee, ordered the Trump administration to ensure that people with final removal orders have a chance to argue that deportation to a country other than their own could jeopardize their safety.

The Trump administration, though, exploited a loophole in the ruling and deported several illegal aliens anyway. It turns out Murphy’s order only applied to the Department of Homeland Security, not any other federal agencies.

So, Team Trump decided to use the Department of Defense (DOD) to ship out illegal aliens, thus outwitting Murphy. In a Wednesday court filing, an attorney representing DHS pointed out that because the DOD is not a defendant in the case, the deportations it has carried out so far comply with the Biden judge’s order.

As Axios notes, the filing cites two cases where individuals were deported to Mexico before Murphy issued his order.

It also includes a sworn declaration from a DHS official, who stated that every person deported after Murphy’s court order was sent to Guantanamo Bay before being shipped off to El Salvador on military flights.

Axios goes on to note that Judge Murphy’s order was initially a setback for the administration, which has sought to send some deported criminal illegal immigrants to countries they are not originally from, like El Salvador. The Trump Administration is using the Alien Enemies Act to fast-track these deportations.

As TGP readers know, El Salvador has become the top flashpoint in the immigration fight. The most notorious example of this is the case of MS-13 gangster and alleged wife-beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Abrego Garcia has become a folk hero for Democrats despite his sordid past with several members of Congress rushing down to El Salvador to greet him and push for his release.

Ty Clevenger has fired off a blistering letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, accusing the FBI of flagrantly concealing critical records about the late DNC staffer Seth Rich and the now-discredited Russia collusion narrative.

In February 2024, Clevenger demanded that the FBI hand over the Seth Rich documents they continue to conceal from the public.

The FBI’s refusal follows a pattern of obfuscation. For years, the agency denied even possessing Seth Rich’s laptop—until Clevenger’s legal efforts forced the FBI to admit they had it all along. Yet, the agency still refuses to disclose any metadata from Seth Rich’s electronic devices.

Even more damning, Clevenger has already uncovered proof that the FBI improperly withheld pages from the CrowdStrike report related to the alleged 2016 DNC hack—an event that conveniently became a political weapon against President Donald Trump.

Earlier this month, Attorney Ty Clevenger filed a motion in federal court to hold the FBI in contempt for what he calls a “deliberate and willful defiance” of a court order mandating the release of key information related to murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich.

The letter obtained by The Gateway Pundit on Thursday implicates former DOJ and intelligence officials in what Clevenger describes as a systemic cover-up designed to protect the Obama-era deep state operatives and their media allies.

Clevenger, representing plaintiff Brian Huddleston in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the FBI (Huddleston v. Federal Bureau of Investigation), claims the agency is withholding documents that could unravel the official narrative surrounding Rich’s 2016 murder and the so-called Russian hacking of DNC emails.

The attorney argues that the FBI’s refusal to release records, including those from Rich’s work laptop, is not only a violation of FOIA but also an attempt to shield evidence that could exonerate Russia and point to an inside job at the DNC.

In his letter to Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and other Trump officials, Clevenger highlights compelling evidence suggesting Rich was the source of the DNC emails published by Wikileaks, not Russian hackers as alleged by the Mueller investigation and the intelligence community.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange hinted at Rich’s involvement in a 2016 interview, offering a $20,000 reward for information on his murder. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh also claimed in a sworn deposition that a trusted source confirmed Rich as the leaker.

Clevenger points to the FBI’s possession of Rich’s work laptop, a personal laptop image, a DVD, and a tape drive—items the bureau initially denied having. Despite court orders to examine these devices, the FBI has stonewalled, refusing to confirm whether it has even reviewed the laptop’s contents.

Clevenger argues this is a deliberate tactic to protect the narrative that Russian intelligence, not Rich, was behind the DNC email leak. He connects this to the U.S. v. Netyksho case, where the FBI admitted a link between Rich’s laptop and the prosecution of alleged Russian hackers.

The letter doesn’t stop at the FBI. Clevenger, also representing The Transparency Project in a separate FOIA case (The Transparency Project v. U.S. Department of Justice), accuses the CIA of potentially fabricating “Russian fingerprints” in DNC emails to frame Russia and undermine President Trump.

The CIA’s refusal to confirm or deny the existence of such records, citing national security, only fuels suspicions of a deeper cover-up. Clevenger calls on Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe to investigate and release these records voluntarily, aligning with President Trump’s directive to declassify Russia hoax documents.

Clevenger also raises concerns about Aaron Rich, Seth’s brother, who allegedly seized Seth’s personal computer and phone shortly after the murder. Aaron’s subsequent lawsuits against those suggesting his involvement in the email leak, including Butowsky, have been described as part of a coordinated “lawfare” campaign to silence critics.

Clevenger questions why Aaron has refused to authorize Wikileaks to disclose what it knows about Seth’s role, suggesting he may have something to hide.

In a separate letter to White House officials, including Counsel David Warrington, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and Senior Counselor Stanley Woodward, Clevenger proposes bold reforms to combat the federal government’s FOIA violations.

He suggests appointing a “chief transparency officer” to prosecute bureaucrats who obstruct public access to records and advocates for legislation to criminalize FOIA violations, modeled on Texas law.

“Federal employees know there are no consequences for violating FOIA,” Clevenger writes, arguing that this impunity fuels the bureaucracy’s cover-up culture.

A Maryland judge has usurped President Trump’s executive authority to keep dangerous illegal aliens out of America.

As ABC News reported, U.S. District Court Judge Stephanie Gallagher last night ordered the Trump administration to facilitate the return of a 20-year-old Venezuelan man deported to El Salvador.

The man, identified by the pseudonym “Cristian” in court records, is currently being held in El Salvador’s infamous CECOT mega-prison.

Gallagher, a Trump appointee, claimed </>in her ruling that the man’s removal violated a previous court settlement. The settlement in question is from a case filed in 2019 on behalf of illegal aliens who entered the U.S. as ‘unaccompanied minors’ and later sought asylum.

In that case, the group sued the U.S. government to have their asylum applications adjudicated while they remained in America. It was settled in 2024.

Judge Gallagher further instructed the administration not to remove other people covered by the settlement. She called the deportation a “breach of contract.”

Gallagher then went on to reference MS-13 gangster Kilmar Abrego Garcia in her ruling.

“Like Judge [Paula] Xinis in the Abrego Garcia matter, this court will order Defendants to facilitate Cristian’s return to the United States so that he can receive the process he was entitled to under the parties’ binding Settlement Agreement,” Gallagher wrote in part.

The Trump administration says that Gallagher is wrong and Cristian’s removal did not violate the settlement because he was designated under the Alien Enemies Act (AEA). According to the administration, this resulted in Cristian ceasing to be a member of the settlement.

Cristian was arrested in Texas for possession of cocaine back in January, which is a felony in the state. He was then removed from America under the AEA.

“On January 6, 2025, [“Cristian”] was convicted in the 482nd District Court at Harris County, Texas for the offense of possession of cocaine, a Texas state jail felony,” said Robert Cerna, the Acting Field Office Director for Enforcement and Removal Operations.

On March 15, 2025, [“Cristian”] was removed under the Alien Enemies Act, 50 U.S.C. Ch. 3, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 10,903, as a Venezuelan citizen 14 years of age or older who is a member of TdA,” Cerna added.

Robert Garcia, Maxwell Frost, Yassamin Ansari, and Maxine Dexter, jetted off to El Salvador to demand the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, despite confirmations of his MS-13 gang affiliation, alleged wife beating and suspected human trafficking, only to be denied a meeting and left shouting into the void for “daily proof of life.” They are attempting to frame this as a constitutional crisis, but it’s hard to take seriously when they themselves have a track record of dismissing the constitution.

Their demands got them nowhere, as Salvadoran officials ghosted their requests, leaving them to record horribly filmed statements from their phones looking useless. These Democrats clearly have some kind of fetish for MS-13 criminals, literally traveling overseas for them, the obsession seems to have no end.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, champion of the poor and wretched, is now facing criticism for her conduct as a landlord.

Records from the New York City Department of Buildings and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) indicate a troubling pattern of neglect at her five-unit apartment building at 296 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn.

In the past 20 months alone, there have been 17 complaints against James with the New York City Department of Buildings.

These include unauthorized construction work without proper permits, the alteration of a load-bearing wall without permits, illegal use of apartments as hotel rooms, illegal conversion, a fence over the height limit, and a failure to notify authorities of scaffold work.

More alarming still, all four of Letitia James’s tenants are listed as having bedbug infestations and re-infestations.

Additionally, two tenants have recently complained of peeling paint. These are both clear violations of housing maintenance codes designed to safeguard tenant health.

Bedbugs and peeling paint in residential settings pose serious health and safety risks to tenants.

Bedbugs are parasitic insects that feed on human blood, often at night, leaving behind itchy welts, allergic reactions, and excessive scratching.

Infestations can spread quickly through walls, floors, and shared spaces, causing widespread discomfort, anxiety, and sleep disruption.

Peeling paint, especially in older buildings, presents another danger – particularly if it contains lead, which is common in buildings like James’s which were constructed before 1978.

Lead-based paint can flake or create dust that, when ingested or inhaled, is toxic – especially to young children and pregnant women.

Together, these hazards reflect a failure by Letitia James to maintain safe and healthy living conditions and can indicate landlord negligence or even systemic housing code violations.

These conditions paint a picture of James not so much as a landlord, but as a slumlord – a landlord who shirks basic responsibilities while residents suffer in substandard living environments.

Slumlords are known to neglect the maintenance and safety of their rental properties, often to maximize profit at the expense of tenants’ health and well-being. Slumlords are often associated with exploiting low-income or vulnerable tenants who may have limited housing options or fear retaliation if they complain.

On February 18, 2025, James posted on Twitter, “All New Yorkers deserve fair, stable housing, and I will always take on landlords who try to evade our laws for their own financial gain”.

Ironically, James built her political brand on her professed commitment to tenant advocacy and housing justice. Throughout her career, she has spoken out forcefully against negligent landlords, supported sweeping enforcement actions, and emphasized the need to maintain safe and decent housing for all New Yorkers.

James, in fact, has consistently positioned herself as a defender of the city’s most vulnerable residents. Her public statements often stress that no one is above the law and that those who exploit or endanger tenants should be held accountable.

As New York Attorney General, James has taken significant actions to prosecute landlords for code violations. Recently, for instance, in December 2024, James secured a $6.5 million settlement with Lilmor Management for subjecting tenants to hazardous living conditions.

All of James’s lofty principles are now clashing with a troubling reality. The hypocrisy is difficult to ignore. While publicly condemning landlords who allow their properties to deteriorate, James has failed to uphold those very standards in her own building.

At this stage, addressing the code violations at her property is a necessary first step. A necessary second step is to acknowledge her failure to live up to her own standards. Anything less erodes public trust and diminishes the legitimacy of the tenant advocacy she has long championed.

Oswaldo Ramos, a 50-year-old career criminal, found himself hospitalized after a group of New York residents reportedly took justice into their own hands.

Ramos is accused of attempting to rape a 70-year-old woman Friday near Fordham in the Bronx, an act that sparked outrage in the community.

The alleged assault took place around noon near Creston Avenue and 184th Street, in broad daylight, according to a report by the New York Post.

Police said Ramos targeted the elderly woman, attempting to force himself on her in a brazen attack that left the neighborhood reeling.

Surveillance footage captured Ramos struggling to put his pants on while fleeing the scene.

Word of the assault spread rapidly through the Bronx, igniting anger among locals who refused to let the suspect slip away.

A day after the attack, local residents later recognized him from the footage. They tracked down Ramos near Tiebout Avenue and 187th Street, delivering what was described as “vigilante justice” by WNBC-TV.

An anonymous tipster called police, informing them that the suspect had been detained by the group and could be found at a nearby hospital.

Ramos, battered from the encounter, was taken into custody from the hospital, where he was treated for injuries sustained during the residents’ confrontation.

Police confirmed Ramos’ extensive criminal history, which includes charges for robberies and burglaries, per the Post.

Locals — including the apparent assailants — had little issue with the vigilantism.

“Yeah, we beat him up,” one local man, who did not want to be identified, told the Post. “You don’t do that, that’s something you don’t do.”

He added: “And if he comes back, I’m going to rock him again.”

“We don’t tolerate that kind of stuff around here,” another one of the alleged assailants said.

New York locals are also getting fed up with the way in which criminals keep winding up back on the street.

“It’s messed up because our government doesn’t really do much about it,” one resident told WNBC. “They lock him up now and let him go later.”

Another resident expressed zero sympathy for Ramos: “He deserved what he got. I’m sorry.”

According to the NYPD, Ramos was officially charged with attempted rape and burglary.

Police said he was still in a local hospital Tuesday.

David Hogg has infuriated top Democrats, and they are now plotting to force him out as DNC Vice Chair.

In February, the DNC elected David Hogg, 25, as Vice Chair – and Democrats immediately had buyer’s remorse as the ‘twerp’ began threatening to primary certain Dem lawmakers.

Hogg has no experience in actually getting Democrats elected to office. He’s an online troll who is causing too much damage to the already ailing Democrat party, so now the Democrat leadership has the knives out for him.

Last week, TGP reported that Hogg vowed to spend millions to unseat his own party’s incumbents during primary season.

Hogg planned to allocate $20 million from his organization, Leaders We Deserve, to try to replace Democrat lawmakers in safe districts with younger and more progressive candidates.

Over the weekend, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries openly defied David Hogg’s strategy to oust his own party’s incumbents.

Hogg is done. This was the last straw for DNC leadership.

According to NOTUS, DNC Chairman Ken Martin is expected to unveil a new plan on Thursday during a call for DNC members. The plan will include an ultimatum for David Hogg: Stay neutral in the primaries or resign as Vice Chair.

David Hogg will be forced to choose between the group he founded, Leaders We Deserve, or stay neutral about the primaries and stay in his post.

Democrat insiders believe Hogg will abandon his position as DNC Vice Chair if given an ultimatum.

A week after Democratic National Committee vice chair David Hogg unveiled a controversial plan to back primary challenges to longtime party incumbents, anger at the activist-turned-Democratic leader is only intensifying among party officials.

These Democratic critics say their fury at Hogg has grown amid what they see as his ill-conceived and insufficient efforts to make amends for his planned primary campaign — a campaign that, they say, threatens the DNC’s neutrality and its capacity to fight back against President Donald Trump.

Some Democrats have even said the DNC should consider changing its rules to force Hogg to either abandon the campaign or resign as vice chair.

The tension is expected to spill over during a regularly scheduled Thursday call for DNC members — a meeting that, some Democratic officials suggest, might turn into a forum for airing grievances about Hogg’s anti-incumbent pledge.
