The far-leftist loves to dig up his enemies’ corpses to beat them
In classic “calumniate, calumniate, something will always stick” fashion, the far-left French newspaper Libération dropped a sleazy hit piece titled “The Men of Rue du Bac,” hurling grotesque pedocriminality accusations at intellectual figures from the 1970s and 1980s.
The star of this disgusting posthumous hit job? None other than Jean-François Revel — the brilliant French philosopher, essayist, former socialist turned pro-American, fierce anti-totalitarian, and author of masterpieces like Why Philosophers?, Neither Marx Nor Jesus, The Totalitarian Temptation, How Democracies Perish, and The Anti-American Obsession.
Revel, who died in 2006, has been dragged through the mud as some kind of masked sadistic predator in a supposed elite pedophile ring operating out of an apartment at 97 rue du Bac in Paris. This is tabloid-level character assassination of a dead man who can’t defend himself. And as usual with the legacy media left, it’s built on vapor.
No Evidence, No Problem: The “Sweaty Corpulent Man” Identification
The entire case against Revel rests on one single testimony — that of Inès Chatin, born in 1973, the adoptive daughter of Dr. Jean-François Lemaire, a self-confessed pedophile who has admitted to some of the horrors. Chatin claims she endured collective sexual torture and rapes from ages 4 to 7 (1977-1980), including being violated with metal objects by masked men. How does she “identify” the late academician Revel among these masked monsters? His “corpulence.” His strong body odor/smell of sweat.
That’s it. No name uttered. No face seen. No voice recognized. Just the foggy recollection of a small child — decades later — of a “fat, sweaty guy.” Even masked, apparently, Revel’s BO was so legendary it betrayed him. Did Revel have a monopoly on sweating in 1970s Paris? There is zero material evidence against him:
No photos
No videos
No letters
No recordings
No DNA
No agenda entries place him at the apartment during the alleged crimes
No witness corroboration
Even the audio recordings where Dr. Lemaire (now deceased) admits to some abuses and implicates others… never mention Revel once. Revel’s own agendas, preserved at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, show no contact with Lemaire before June 21, 1983 — three years after the period Chatin accuses him of participating in the collective abuses. That day, he and his wife, Claude Sarraute, attended a lunch at Lemaire’s place and signed the narcissistic doctor’s “golden book.” His family and collaborators confirm no personal ties existed before then. A book by Revel found at Lemaire’s? That’s the smoking gun? Please.
Dig up a corpse to beat it
From Franco’s Spain to Revel’s France, the pattern is the same: the left loves exhuming and beating the bodies of those who opposed them. Revel’s children expressed “immense shock” at the accusations, noting they completely contradict everything they knew of their father. They called for the justice system to establish the facts. Outlets like Le Figaro, Commentaire, and Valeurs Actuelles have shredded the dossier as riddled with sloppy chronology, wild associations, and zero hard evidence. It’s a textbook post-mortem hatchet job.
Bottom Line: Innocent Until Proven Guilty — Even After Death
Jean-François Revel is not here to defend himself. But basic epistemology and justice demand evidence before destroying a man’s legacy with the worst possible accusations. There is none. This is a 21st-century witch trial and grotesque posthumous defamation orchestrated by the very circles that once cheered “liberatory” pedophilia: in 1977, *Libération* published a petition calling for the legalization of pedophilia.
The Revel family is reportedly considering legal action. They should. The corpse-defilers need to be held accountable.

Tim Walz Prepares To Sue The Trump Admin With The United Nations? | Drew Hernandez
Woke Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said his state is working with the American Civil Liberties Union, pro-immigrant groups and contacts at the United Nations as it pursues a lawsuit against President Donald Trump’s administration over a sweeping federal immigration crackdown known as Operation Metro Surge.
The state of Minnesota, along with the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, filed suit in federal court in January alleging that the deployment of thousands of immigration agents to the Twin Cities amounts to an unconstitutional “federal invasion” and political retaliation for the state’s sanctuary-style policies.
The so called complaint argues that Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection officers have carried out militarized raids, racially profiled Somali and Latino residents, and even detained U.S. citizens and legal visa holders without probable cause or warrants.
Leftist State Attorney General Keith Ellison, who is leading the case for Minnesota, told reporters at the lawsuit announcement that “this has to stop; it just has to stop,” calling the federal operation a grave threat to Minnesotans’ constitutional rights.
In parallel, the ACLU and ACLU of Minnesota have brought their own lawsuit alleging that ICE and CBP’s tactics under Operation Metro Surge are “illegal and morally reprehensible,” saying agents have “swept up Minnesotans through racial profiling and unlawful arrests.”
Walz has welcomed the ACLU’s actions and told the cable outlet MSNow that “we being the ACLU, a lot of groups, especially immigrant groups, folks at the United Nations and in Geneva are working” to document abuses and support Minnesota’s legal challenge, adding that such conduct would draw international investigation if it occurred in another country.
In court, lawyers for Minnesota and the Twin Cities have asked for an emergency order halting or sharply limiting Operation Metro Surge, arguing that the surge of roughly 3,000 federal agents has terrified communities, interfered with local public safety efforts and coerced officials to abandon their own immigration policies.
Prosecutors for the state have told a federal judge that the crackdown is an “unlawful and unchecked invasion” that undermines the Tenth Amendment’s protection of state sovereignty and violates federal administrative law because similar enforcement is not being carried out elsewhere.
The Trump administration and Department of Homeland Security officials have rejected the lawsuits as baseless, insisting the operations are necessary to combat fraud and crime, even as riots grew in Minnesota and legal battles over the future of the crackdown move forward.

Trump Asks Congress To Pass Clean Reauthorization Of FISA Spy Powers
Trump Asks Congress To Pass Clean Reauthorization Of FISA Spy Powers
Authored by Joseph Lord and Nathan Worcester via The Epoch Times,
President Donald Trump asked Congress this week to pass a clean reauthorization of a critical—but controversial—spying authority as the U.S. military operation in Iran continues.
“I have called for a clean 18-month extension,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, noting that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) are working toward passing such a bill.
Specifically, Trump is asking Congress to extend the authorities in Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), a sweeping War on Terror-era spying authority that has seen wide abuse by federal intelligence agencies in the past.
Section 702 targets intelligence from foreign nationals thought to be outside the United States. Yet, it also enables intelligence agencies to gather information from Americans who are in contact with targeted non-U.S. persons—all without a warrant. The controversial authority was at the center of National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden’s 2014 disclosures.
Although intelligence officials must obtain a warrant to access Americans’ data, Section 702 has long caused bipartisan discomfort on Capitol Hill and beyond.
Trump noted in the post that he himself had been on the receiving end of what he described as “the worst and most illegal abuse of FISA in our Nation’s History,” referencing disclosures that revealed that the FBI had used Section 702 of FISA to spy on Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign as part of the Crossfire Hurricane operation.
Nevertheless, Trump said, “When used properly, FISA is an effective tool to keep Americans safe.”
“For these reasons, I have called for a clean 18-month extension, HOWEVER, the Critical and Common Sense Reforms that were made in the last Reauthorization of FISA must remain intact to protect the American People from abuses.”
In an extension of the authority passed last year, Congress imposed new training requirements for those with access to the FISA Section 702 database, stricter requirements for justifying queries into the database, requiring high-level approval to query the information of politically-sensitive individuals, and mandatory consequences for willful abuse of the program.
“Since the first day … my Administration has worked tirelessly to ensure these Reforms are being aggressively executed at every level of the Executive Branch to keep Americans safe, while protecting their sacred Civil Liberties guaranteed by our Great Constitution,” Trump wrote.
The president said that permitting the program to continue was crucial in view of the ongoing hostilities with Iran.
“The fact is, whether you like FISA or not, it is extremely important to our Military. I have spoken to many Generals about this, and they consider it vital. Not one said, even tacitly, that they can do without it—especially right now with our brilliant Military Operation in Iran,” Trump wrote.
Bipartisan Skepticism
However, bipartisan doubts about the extensive program remain, despite efforts among supporters of Section 702 to amplify the reductions in abuse brought about in the wake of the reforms.
Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) signaled opposition on March 17 in posts on X. That same day, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) endorsed reforms to the law in a conversation with reporters.
Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.), who chairs the House Freedom Caucus, told reporters on March 18 that 18 months is too long.
“I hope there’s some room for negotiating a couple of smaller reforms into it to show good faith, that they know there are problems,” he said.
Meanwhile, House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)—like Trump, a past critic of FISA—has backed its renewal.
Ahead of a March 18 briefing, he told reporters that the FBI has boosted compliance with Section 702’s querying procedures—guardrails to shield Americans from FISA wiretapping.
A review of FBI Section 702 compliance from the Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General identified more than 60,000 noncompliant queries in 2021 alone.
During a March 19 press conference, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said, “It’s clear that FISA reforms are necessary.”
“Every single Democrat will oppose the rule,” Jeffries said, referring to a procedural step that Johnson could take to advance the extension that would come ahead of a final vote.

WATCH: Fox News Host Abby Hornacek Gets Suplexed Live on Fox & Friends by Wrestling Champ, ‘Felt Like Being Thrown Off a Skyscraper!’
Fox News host Abby Hornacek got a lesson in professional wrestling on Saturday morning when RAF Middleweight champion Kennedy Blades slammed her to the mat with a suplex during a live segment on Fox & Friends Weekend.
The body slam happened while Hornacek was interviewing Blades to promote RAF Wrestling’s upcoming big event on Fox Nation.
After a brief chat, Blades offered to demonstrate her signature move.
Hornacek, clearly nervous, agreed.
“Let’s suplex… I’m so nervous… Let’s try this,” Hornacek said, just before Blades grabbed her around the hips, twisted, lifted her high into the air, and drove her down onto the studio mat.
The mic pack on Hornacek’s back didn’t survive, but the host popped right back up, laughing and high-fiving Blades.
“Ohhh! Amazing. I don’t think I can be a wrestler,” Hornacek said, taking the suplex like a champ.
Hornacek added, “Alright, the mic pack did not survive, but I did, luckily… I know that looked worse than it was, but it was a lot of fun. I think I’m going to stay off the mat from now on. But Kennedy here, I gotta say — that felt like being thrown off a skyscraper.”

WATCH: Anti-Trump protesters scream ‘abolish the police’ as cops assist their march through D.C.
Several “No Kings” protesters chanted anti-police slogans Saturday while uniformed officers could be seen ushering their march through the streets of Washington, video footage by the Daily Caller News Foundation shows.
Thousands of demonstrators flocked to the nation’s capital as part of the nationwide No Kings Day protests Saturday against President Donald Trump and his administration, particularly Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). During one portion of the Washington demonstrations, protesters chanted multiple times in favor of defunding or even abolishing the police — despite officers at the same time visibly protecting them.
“I said take it to the streets, abolish the police,” a male protester leading a chant yelled as multiple on-duty law enforcement officers walked with them, video by DCNF investigative reporter Hudson Crozier shows.

“Cops spent hours accompanying the protest and holding off traffic for about a mile, giving them the entire Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge along the way,” Crozier wrote in the post, referring to to the arch bridge crossing the Anacostia River in Washington’s southeast quadrant.
Another video by the DCNF reporter shows a protester leading chants for the capital’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) to cut its budget, as uniformed officers observed the marches from behind barricades.
“MPD,” the man yells multiple times, prompting fellow protesters to reply, “Cut that budget!” The protesters then break out into a repeated chant, “ICE go home,” the video shows.

Another photo of the “No Kings” demonstrations obtained by the DCNF shows protesters wearing hats and flags featuring the hammer and sickle, well-known symbols of communism and the Soviet Union.
Another one depicts a message written on the street in sidewalk chalk stating, “Nuremberg trials the sequel starring S. Miller,” likely referring to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who is Jewish.
Saturday marked the third such day explicitly designated for nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations, following June 14, 2025, and Oct. 18, 2025. While the website of the organization behind the protests purports to oppose authoritarian rule in the U.S., its official partners include multiple groups who have shown support for brutal communist dictatorships abroad.
“Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant. But this is America, and power belongs to the people – not to wannabe kings or their billionaire cronies,” the No Kings website states. “America has a long history, rooted in white supremacy, of suppressing the rights of people of color. But our history also clearly shows that people-powered movements are how we end authoritarianism.”
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson dubbed the “No Kings” protests “Trump derangement therapy sessions,” in comments to multiple outlets.

ICE Agents Laugh At Leftist MALE KAREN At Airport | Drew Hernandez
A viral video from New York’s LaGuardia Airport shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents laughing as a effeminate woke man angrily confronts them, amid President Donald Trump’s deployment of immigration officers to help at US airports during a Department of Homeland Security funding standoff that has left many TSA workers unpaid.
In the clip, originally posted by the activist collective No Kings USA on Instagram and later shared widely on X and other platforms, the man walks alongside a line of ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations agents in tactical vests and demands, “You guys are the foot soldiers of a fascist regime, right? Is that not what it is?”
The agents first grin and then break into open laughter as he continues to press them, repeatedly asking, “Is that funny? Is that funny?” while one officer visibly tries to stifle a chuckle as they keep moving through the terminal.
On Instagram, the activist framed the encounter as “speaking truth to power,” writing that he had “confronted a fascist to his face today at LaGuardia” and complaining that the officer’s reaction was merely “a smirk.”
Conservative accounts quickly seized on the footage, with the right‑leaning End Wokeness profile on X reposting it under the caption, “ICE agents laugh in the face of liberal at the airport screeching about fascism,” helping propel the video to viral status.
Other social media users on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram similarly roasted the man for what they viewed as a performative meltdown, contrasting his shouted accusations with the agents’ laughter as they continued on their way.
The confrontation comes just days after the Trump administration began sending hundreds of ICE agents to more than a dozen major airports, including LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, Atlanta and Houston, to assist with crowd management, logistics and other non‑screening duties normally handled by overstretched Transportation Security Administration staff.

Catholic conversions rise as young adults ‘hungry for truth’ turn to faith and reject secularism, bishop says
Catholic leaders across the U.S. are reporting sharp increases in the number of adult converts, a trend that they say is driven primarily by young adults. The Archdiocese of Newark, N.J., reported 1,701 individuals were preparing to join the Church, a 30% increase since 2025, according to The Catholic Standard. Other Archdioceses reporting similar rises including Cleveland, Ohio, Boston, Mass., Portland, Ore., according to the outlet.”Last year, we broke the record for the number of adult converts, and then this year — so, we have what’s called the rite of election, that’s when all the people are entering into the church — we broke that record again. So, it’s a trend that’s visible all over the church and it’s certainly been true in my dioceses,” Bishop Robert Barron told Fox News Digital.Catholic ministries on college campuses, including Texas A&M University, University of Notre Dame and Arizona State University are also reporting increasing converts, The Catholic Standard reported. Notre Dame saw its largest group of new Catholics in at least 25 years, with 125 receiving the sacraments last Easter, according to The Catholic Standard. The outlet noted that this year, Notre Dame expects there to be 163 candidates and catechumens, which are unbaptized individuals undergoing conversion.CATHOLICVOTE LAUNCHES ‘ZEALE’ APP TARGETING GEN Z AMERICANS WITH FAITH AND NEWS CONTENTBarron said that when speaking to new adult converts about their decision, many describe themselves as “hungry for truth.” He argued the trend is, in part, a reaction to the rise of atheism in the early 2000s, with younger generations having “inherited this bleakly secularized world” and now “leading the charge” back to religion. The bishop pointed to St. Augustine, saying the theologian’s words still ring true today.”St. Augustine said, ‘Lord, you’ve made us for yourself, and therefore our heart is restless till it rests in you,’ and that remains true,” Barron said. “There’s a longing in the heart that can’t be satisfied by anything in this world, and so religion speaks to that.”BIBLE PODCAST CRACKS APPLE TOP 10 FOR THIRD YEAR AS HOST CELEBRATES: ‘PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY FOR GOD’S WORD’The bishop also explained that many young adults are looking for something steady with strong roots as they navigate the modern world and its online distractions. In his view, Catholicism has been attracting new converts because of its 2,000-year-old traditions.”Our culture today is very ephemeral, right? It’s evanescent… Catholicism speaks to something much deeper, and older, and more permanent,” he said. “I also think that people are attracted to the ritual expression of Catholicism. So, the beauty of our liturgy, we’re not just gathering in a bland room and singing pop songs, we’re entering into this ancient, beautiful ritual involving vestments and incense and candles and ancient prayers and ancient chants. And I do think that appeals to people’s souls, especially young people.”Even as he spoke about the beauty of the Church, Barron touched on the scandals of sexual abuse that came to light especially in the early 2000s. He said that the scandals were important for the Church to acknowledge and deal with, but that for young adult converts, they were “more of a memory” and “less of a lived, immediate reality.”SCORSESE CLOSES ‘THE SAINTS’ WITH THE STORY OF CARLO ACUTIS, THE FIRST MILLENNIAL SAINTIn 2025, Pew Research Center issued findings on Catholic converts in the U.S., saying that 1.5% of all adults in the country fit into the category. According to Pew’s 2025 report, 92% of U.S. Catholics were raised in the faith, while the remaining 8% had converted. The research center said that when asked why they converted to Catholicism, “the most common response offered by converts is because of a spouse, or to get married in the Church.” Meanwhile, others said Catholicism made sense to them or that it aligned with their values. Now that the Church has attracted these new converts, it is tasked with retaining them. Barron said that first and foremost, the Church must listen to them.”I think it needs to listen to them. You know, that’s something Pope Francis kept emphasizing, correctly, that first you listen and fin out what’s attracted them, find out maybe what kept them away for a long time, what made a difference,” Barron told Fox News Digital.Barron emphasized that, ultimately, the Church exists for the purpose of bringing people into the faith.”The Church is about the business of evangelization. That’s what we are. I mean, every Catholic institution exists for the purpose of evangelization, meaning bringing people to Christ. And so, the people who are coming back to the Church, that makes me the happiest. That’s why what the Catholic Church exists for, is to invite people back,” the bishop said.
