Second Wave Of Cyberattacks Paralyze Supermarket Fridges Across EU, Weeks After Gov’ts Urged Food Stockpiling

Second Wave Of Cyberattacks Paralyze Supermarket Fridges Across EU, Weeks After Gov’ts Urged Food Stockpiling

Cyberattacks disrupted supermarket refrigeration systems across Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland and Estonia on Monday morning, forcing retailers to discard spoiled food and exposing the last mile of the food supply chain to major disruptions. The cyberattacks came just weeks after governments urged households to maintain emergency food supplies.Reuters reports that supermarket chains Ahold Delhaize and Colruyt reported cyberattacks affecting critical refrigeration systems in Belgium and Luxembourg. Carrefour said 15 Belgian stores were impacted, while Irish wholesaler Musgrave said refrigeration systems at 13 SuperValu locations were affected.”There has been a cyberattack and all our freezers reached 50 degrees (Celsius),” Engla Ingwall, sales manager at an ICA franchise store in Stockholm, told the outlet. Ingwall said the attack occurred around 0200 local time.BREAKING: 🇸🇪 Swedish grocery giant ICA, one of Sweden’s largest supermarket chains, says several of its stores have been hit by a cyberattack overnight, causing refrigerators and freezers to be remotely set to 50°C.The incident has likely resulted in large quantities of food… pic.twitter.com/wrcmGHw1qV— GeoInsider (@InsiderGeo) November 2, 2026
Stephan Moelans, chief executive of Belgian refrigeration company Sabcobel, which operates Delhaize’s systems, told the news outlet Belga that attackers switched refrigeration evaporators into defrost mode.Maybe making everything in this world hackable by the latest frontier model wasn’t the best idea. https://t.co/Ii1kmgClwG— zerohedge (@zerohedge) November 2, 2026
The cyber incidents follow an attack in France last month, when hackers seized control of cooling units at hundreds of supermarkets, causing high food losses. The similarities suggest that the earlier attack was a pilot run for broader chaos.Let’s not forget the cyber incidents came weeks after governments in Europe, the US, and Australia urged folks to stockpile food. Those advisories did not identify a specific imminent threat.Targeting refrigeration systems at supermarkets can quickly destroy perishable foods and disrupt food availability. The pattern here is that saboteurs have an objective of causing mass chaos, but not through kinetic means; rather, by attacking the food supply chain. This builds on weeks of a communist revolution in France that has spread to surrounding countries.

Sixers fan who had his cup of wine drunk by LeBron James mid-game describes moment with epic quote

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: THE NEWS

LeBron James is a wine guy, famously sharing years ago that he drinks a glass of the grape pretty much every day. He partook on Monday night, but under quite unusual circumstances.During the third quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers’ home matchup against the Chicago Bulls, James chased after a loose ball and ended up bumping into a fan who happened to be carrying a cup of red wine.James saw this as an opportunity for a quick tasting, so he grabbed the cup from the fan’s hand and took a sip before getting back out onto the floor.NBA HAS NO ISSUE WITH LEBRON JAMES’ HELICOPTER COMMUTE, 76ERS STAR CALLS TRANSPORTATION ‘JUST ANOTHER WAY’While it made for a viral moment and gave the fan, Troy Clemons, a story he could tell for the rest of his life, he didn’t make it any bigger than what it was.Speaking with ESPN’s Kris Rhim after having his cup of wine taken from him, Clemons shared his initial reaction to the moment while dropping a strong line about James being a regular guy.”At the end of the day, he’s another man like me,” Clemons said when asked what he was going to do with the cup James drank from. “He’s LeBron, but I threw that cup in the trash, and it’s nothing up with him, but I just got a fresh drink.”THE CRAIG CARTON SHOW–UNFILTERED, UNAPOLOGETIC AND UNMISSABLE. DOWNLOAD HIS DAILY PODCAST NOW!In a world where the majority of people in Clemons’ situation would have milked the situation for all it is worth, it’s cool to see a regular guy have a regular reaction to a moment such as this.Philadelphia ended up blowing out the Bulls 126-107 on Monday night, as James scored 15 points, dished out nine assists, and snagged seven rebounds in 31 minutes of action.James’ tenure in Philadelphia has gotten off to a nearly flawless start, with the 76ers opening the campaign up at 7-1 and the 41-year-old looking extremely comfortable in a new city and a new role of not being asked to do all of the heavy lifting.

TGP’s Patty McMurray on Voter Fraud at TCF Center in 2020 – What We Can Expect from Democrats on Tuesday (VIDEO)

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: THE NEWS

Patty McMurray explains new information that was discovered pertaining to the TCF Center in Michigan during the 2020 election.
The Gateway Pundit’s Patty McMurray and Jim Hoft joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Monday night with a warning to law-abiding conservatives of what we can expect from the ruthless vote stealers in the Democrat Party.
Over the past several years, The Gateway Pundit has reported story after story of Democrat fraud and cheating in our elections.  Sadly, not enough has changed since we saw firsthand what levels of deceit and fraud the left is capable of perpetrating on the American people.  We all suffered following the 2020 elections and know what these people are capable of.
Sadly, this year, Democrats have offered no suggestions on how to solve America’s problems that they largely created, but they do know they want to punish anyone who stands in their way of total communist control of the American people.  Democrats lost God, and with that they lost honesty, integrity, humility, and decency.
On Tuesday, Patty and Jim joined Steve Bannon to warn patriotic Americans to GET OUT AND VOTE and don’t allow Democrats control over our lives EVER AGAIN.
Patty discussed newly discovered information that herself and fellow Michigan patriots discovered about the 2020 TCF Center fiasco where Democrats managed to steal the state for Joe Biden hours after the polls closed and votes were counted.
Mysterious actors made two late night drops inside the TCF Center in Detroit on Election Night after all of the ballots were counted. They got away with this.
Patty discussed being locked out of the TCF Center on the morning after the 2020 election and how Democrats were covering the windows with cardboard:
Patty McMurray:  I was able to get back in. I actually kind of had to push my way back in as they were locking and chaining the door shut. And when I got inside, that’s when they were covering the windows. In the article that I wrote, I included a video showing who was covering the windows. Our Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, who is a Democrat, and she is the most non-transparent, dishonest Secretary of State in America. She’s also running for governor. She’ll be on the ballot tomorrow.
She lied in an interview that I recorded and said that the windows were being covered by the Detroit police. One of the things that I uncovered in my article was that the person that initiated the covering of the windows was in fact a Democrat poll challenger. And I found a picture of him cozying up with Jocelyn Benson in a bar that was on his Facebook page.
So not only did she know the poll challenger who covered the windows, but she lied and said that Detroit police were covering the windows. windows. It was all a big scam. We know that they had stacks of cardboard there prepared to cover the windows. And the reason they covered the windows is because they were preparing to count these so-called military ballots, which were not military ballots at all.
As you know, Steve, I’ve been on your show before. I talked about the almost 1 million documents that we received from the city of Detroit in a FOIA lawsuit. We’ve been going through these documents, and we have determined, based on the qualified voter files, that there were only 748 UOCAVA votes, which include military and overseas voters. But of that 748, 132, only 132 military ballots were counted in the city of Detroit…
..They were taking each ballot out and they would hold it up. It was a faxed piece of paper. I testified about this in front of the House Oversight or the Senate Oversight Committee. President Trump actually retweeted my testimony where I talked about how all the ballots looked like they were copies of each other.
They were all either straight Democrat Party or Joe Biden, for Joe Biden. So they transcribed these ballots onto another ballot that could be put through the tabulator.
And none of these names, by the way, were in the poll books of these so-called voters. What they were doing is entering a date of 1/1/1900, which they told us was a birthdate.
Since then, I’ve done a ton of research, and I believe that, at least in my opinion, these were not birthdates they were entering. They were actually registration dates, I believe. I believe they were registering voters in the TCF.
Unfortunately, there have been no arrests and no court cases against the Democrats who did this to state of Michigan.
And, don’t think that Democrats won’t do it again! Of course, they will. They have to. We’re already seeing it. They can’t win if they don’t cheat.
Here is Patty McMurray on The War Room on Monday night.

Mortgage rate trends
Mortgage rates are still hovering in the low 7% range, below their recent yearly highs but well above last year’s level. Most housing experts expect rates to stay near or above 7% through year’s end. In written comments, Kara Ng, Zillow’s senior economist, says affordability challenges remain for would-be buyers, but waiting for lower rates may not yield significant savings.
“For a buyer who has decided to purchase a home but is questioning when, here is the tradeoff. Borrowing costs are expected to ease, but only slightly,” Ng says. “Home values, meanwhile, are expected to rise modestly nationwide, offsetting some of the savings from lower rates.”
Ng estimates the difference in monthly payments at today’s rates versus next year’s forecast rate is just $26.
Which loan is best for you?
When shopping for a mortgage, you may be offered several loan options to meet different needs. Here’s a rundown of the most common loan types you’ll find, and who they work best for.
30-year conventional mortgage: Conventional loans work best for borrowers who have a credit score above 620, have saved enough to make a down payment of at least 3% and are looking for flexibility in the type of property being purchased.
30-year Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage: FHA loans are good for first-time homebuyers, borrowers with less-than-perfect credit scores or those with a high debt-to-income ratio.
30-year U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) loan: Specifically designed for active-duty and retired service members, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and surviving spouses. Offers 0% down loan options, competitive rates and accepts less-than-perfect credit scores.
30-year jumbo loan: Good for homebuyers purchasing property that is priced above the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) conforming loan limit. In 2026, that limit is $832,750 in most of the U.S. but increases to $1,249,125 in high-cost areas.
15-year fixed-rate loan: Borrowers who prefer a shorter loan term and can afford to make higher monthly payments will pay less overall interest with a 15-year mortgage and pay off the loan faster.
7/6 adjustable rate loan: Good for a buyer who wants to lock in a favorable interest rate for a set period of time and either plans on selling the home before the interest rate starts, is willing to make a higher monthly payment once the rate becomes variable or is open to refinancing the loan.
Home equity line of credit (HELOC): A good option for a homeowner who wants to access the equity they’ve accumulated in their home and have an open line of credit to use as needed.
Home equity loan: Another option for a homeowner who wants to access their home equity and have the financial capacity to take on a second mortgage.

How mortgage rates affect affordability
Your mortgage rate can make a big difference in how much home you can afford and how large your monthly payments are. That’s true whether buying your primary residence, an investment property or refinancing an existing loan.
Here’s an example. If you bought a $250,000 home and made a 20% down payment of $50,000, your starting loan balance would be $200,000. On a $200,000 home loan with a fixed rate for 30 years, here’s what you would pay:

At a 3% interest rate = $843 in monthly payments (not including taxes, insurance, or HOA fees)
At a 4% interest rate = $955 in monthly payments (not including taxes, insurance, or HOA fees)
At a 6% interest rate = $1,199 in monthly payments (not including taxes, insurance, or HOA fees)
At an 8% interest rate = $1,468 in monthly payments (not including taxes, insurance, or HOA fees)

Using a mortgage calculator lets you see how a lower rate or other changes could affect what you pay. A home affordability calculator can also estimate the maximum loan amount you may qualify for based on your income, debt-to-income ratio, mortgage interest rate and other variables. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can also provide a range of rates lenders offer in each state.
