President Donald Trump is vowing to reject signing any new bills into law until the SAVE America Act is passed by the Senate, a tall order with just 53 Republicans seated and the 60-vote filibuster threshold a high hurdle.”Great Job by hard working Scott Pressler on Fox & Friends talking about using the Filibuster, or Talking Filibuster, in order to pass THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, an 88% issue with ALL VOTERS,” Trump wrote Sunday morning on Truth Social. “It must be done immediately.””It supersedes everything else,” Trump added. “MUST GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE.”The vow to halt all new law signings is a new one coming from the White House and notable because of the Senate hesitation to follow the urgings of Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, to force the Senate to bring the bill forward through the talking filibuster.DAVID MARCUS: PASSING THE SAVE AMERICA ACT TO SAVE CORNYN IS A FAIR DEAL”I, as President, will not sign other Bills until this is passed,” Trump’s post continued, “AND NOT THE WATERED DOWN VERSION – GO FOR THE GOLD: MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. & PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS EXCEPT FOR MILITARY – ILLNESS, DISABILITY, TRAVEL: NO MEN IN WOMEN’S SPORTS: NO TRANSGENDER MUTILIZATION FOR CHILDREN! DO NOT FAIL!!!”While Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has publicly acknowledged a willingness to bring a vote on the SAVE America Act before the upper chamber, there is hesitation within the Republican Party about forcing the talking filibuster under the current Senate rules. The talking filibuster would force Democrats to speak on the Senate floor to argue against a voter identification position widely supported by Americans, as Trump noted, but it would also force Republicans to sit in attendance with a quorum. That has been rebuked by longtime Senate GOP veterans as something that would “waste time.”FETTERMAN EXPECTS DHS SHUTDOWN AMID PARTISAN FUNDING FEUD, BREAKS WITH DEMOCRATS ON VOTER IDFormer Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has been publicly opposed to forcing a talking filibuster because of the time constraints it would force on the Senate GOP, and he remains one of the few Senate Republicans not signing on to support the SAVE America Act.Another development that clouds the SAVE America Act filibuster is the recent appointment of Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., to serve as the next Department of Homeland Security secretary, perhaps resigning from the Senate by the end of March.Fox News Digital reached out to Mullin’s office for comment. McConnell’s office declined to comment on Trump’s Truth Social vow to block all new law signings amid the standoff on the DHS funding that has the government in a partial shutdown and the Senate sitting on the House-passed SAVE America Act.GOP REACHES KEY 50-VOTE THRESHOLD FOR TRUMP-BACKED VOTER ID BILL AS SENATE FIGHT LOOMS”We’re going to have a vote on this, but in terms of what the president is willing to sign, Maria, we need to get the Department of Homeland Security funded,” Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wy., told Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.””The Democrats have blocked that right now. And the greatest threat to the American people today is terrorism. So I want to make sure that the Democrats work with us to pass and fund the Department of Homeland Security, because I’m worried about the lone wolf, the sleeper cells and the cyber terrorism that’s coming our way because of what Iran is telling people around the world to do to continue this reign of terror,” Barrasso said.Getting to 60 votes in the Senate is unlikely with just Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., as the lone potential Democrat vote to side with the Senate GOP on the SAVE America Act.HOUSE REPUBLICANS PUSH JOHNSON TO GO TO WAR WITH SENATE OVER SAVE ACT”The Democrats are against so many of the things that I think help this country,” Barrasso added to Bartiromo. “They’d rather stand with illegal immigrant criminals than with the safety and security of the American people. I want to get the Save act to the floor. I want to have a vote.””That’s the next step on this need to get the Department of Homeland Security open and funded,” he continued. “The Democrats are bowing to the liberal left: The people that want to eliminate ICE, the people that want open borders again, and the people that really aren’t looking out for the best interest of the American people.”As the president said in the State of the Union, it is the first duty of the American government to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. But that’s what not one single Democrat stood up for that when every Republican stood and cheered loudly.”Barrasso, the Senate GOP member whipping up support, considers the SAVE America Act “common sense.””You want to make sure that only citizens can vote,” he concluded to Bartiromo. “You want to make sure that when people show up, they have a photo ID to prove they are who they say they are. You need a you need a photo ID to buy a beer, to board a plane, all of those things. And it’s 90% popular with the American people. The only people against this are the Democrats because they want to make it easier to cheat.”

Bruce Springsteen faces growing criticism over sky-high ticket prices for anti-Trump democracy tour launch
Two weeks after announcing the launch of his “Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour,” Bruce Springsteen is catching some heat as fans are left outraged over astronomical ticket prices.”If this concert is meant to be a political statement, dynamic pricing makes no sense… It feels contradictory to defend democracy while playing by pure free-market rules where money decides everything,” one fan wrote on Springteen’s Instagram post. “Big fan and I’m in for a reasonable price, but I can’t help thinking about those who can’t play this game.””Unfortunately no one can afford to actually go…..,” another wrote. Especially now when the economy is so bad,” another added. “I thought that you if anyone would really understand what I’m saying because you yourself talk about making this world more affordable to live in.””$1000 for upper seats,” a longtime fan commented. “Really he was the one fighting this and now you cannot get tickets at a decent price. I’ve always had floor seats (26 concerts of his) and now floor seats are $7k. I don’t think I’m using a mortgage payment on seats.”Representatives for Springsteen did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Last month, Springsteen charged that Trump was a “wannabe king” as he announced the launch of the tour, which kicks off on March 31 in Minneapolis.”We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times,” Springsteen said in a video posted on social media. “But do not despair, the cavalry is coming. ‘Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time’: Karoline Leavitt calls increase in gas prices ‘a short-term disruption’
PALM BEACH, Florida – As Operation Epic Fury against Iran continues to drive up oil and gasoline prices in America, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stressed on Sunday the increase was just a “short-term disruption,” expecting the price at the pump to come back down.
Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, Leavitt said: “With respect to what’s happening with gas prices right now, this is a short-term disruption for the long-term gain of taking out the rogue Iranian terrorist regime and finally ending their restriction of the free flow of energy in the Middle East and in the Strait of Hormuz.
“And even with this short-term period throughout Operation Epic Fury, the president and his energy team are on the ball. They’ve announced political risk insurance for cargo vessels and oil ships that are going to be moving through the strait. They’ve announced that the U.S. Navy, if and when necessary, will escort those tankers to ensure that oil can move. The president is also tapping into our newfound market in Venezuela.”

“We’re seeing a slight increase in oil and gas prices, but ultimately, taking out the rogue Iranian regime is going to be a good thing for the oil industry and those prices are going to come back down just like they have over the course of the past year because of President Trump’s American energy-dominance agenda.”
Leavitt said the president is “watching everything,” and he “can walk and chew gum at the same time.”
“You saw him this past week at the White House hosting a Ratepayer Protection Pledge roundtable with Big Tech companies, A.I. companies, to talk about how they are picking up the cost of electricity bills across the country and American communities to drive down costs. The president inherited the worst affordability crisis in our nation’s history from Joe Biden, and look at the progress he has made in the course of the past year.”
While flying on Air Force One this weekend, Trump was asked about circumstances requiring the need for U.S. ground troops in Iran, and the president indicated the possibility, but only “for a very good reason.”
“I don’t even want to talk about it now. I don’t think it’s an appropriate question. You know I’m not going to answer it,” he told reporters. “Could there be? Possibly, for a very good reason. There’d have to be a very good reason. And I would say if we ever did that, they would be so decimated, they wouldn’t be able to fight at the ground level.”
Reporter: Mr. President, don’t you need ground troops to secure the enriched uranium at the nuclear sites?
Trump: We’re going to find out about that. We haven’t talked about it, but it was a total obliteration. They haven’t been able to get to it. And at some point, maybe we… pic.twitter.com/f9LR6BzIdn

On Sunday, Leavitt told Bartiromo that “President Trump wisely does not remove options off of the table.”
.@PressSec: “They have killed and maimed thousands of American soldiers, and @POTUS was not going to allow Iran to attack our bases, and our troops, and our men and women in the Middle East first — and that’s why he took this historic action by launching Operation Epic Fury.” pic.twitter.com/vaO4bsS9P7
— Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) March 8, 2026
“It’s not part of the current plan right now,” she said, “but the president, again, wisely keeps his options on the table.”
Leavitt was also asked about Trump’s desire to add to the SAVE America Act two new provisions demanding no men in women’s sports and no transgender mutilation for children.
“There should be no pushback to any of the common sense proposals in the SAVE America Act,” she said. These are common sense proposals and policies that are backed by there vast majority of our country. Most Americans don’t want young children to be going through gender-mutilation surgeries.”
.@PressSec: “There should be no pushback to any of the common sense proposals in the SAVE America Act.”
“These are winning issues for the American people… and that’s why all members of Congress—Republicans and Democrats—need to pass the SAVE America Act as soon as possible.” pic.twitter.com/o0yau3uEtG
— Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) March 8, 2026
“Most Americans don’t want men competing in women’s sports. These are winning issues for the American people. They are losing battles for politicians on Capitol Hill. And that’s why all members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats, need to pass the SAVE America Act as soon as possible.”
As WorldNetDaily reported, Trump on Sunday said he would not sign any bills into law until the SAVE America Act is passed by the U.S. Senate.

Washed-Up RINO Senator Thom Tillis Gets LIT Up After He Trashes Stephen Miller and Demands Trump Fire Him (VIDEO)

Senator Thom Tillis (RINO-NC) got ripped on social media after demanding President Trump fire one of MAGA’s true warriors following the dismissal of Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary.
Tillis, who is retiring at the end of his term in 2027, appeared as a guest on CNN’s “State of the Union,” where he discussed the firing of Noem and the choice of Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) to replace her. In good news for the Trump Administration, Tillis had only positive things to say about him, suggesting a smooth Senate confirmation lies ahead.
But things changed when Tapper asked Tillis whether anyone else should be fired, specifically mentioning Stephen Miller.
Tillis replied, “Absolutely,” regarding terminating Miller.
He then ripped Miller for being a “big problem” in the Trump Administration and having an “outsized influence.”

TAPPER: Do you think Stephen Miller should go?
TILLIS: Oh, absolutely! Not only does Stephen just want to paint a picture, but he’s also not worried about substance; he’s just worried about form.
But I also think he has an outsized operation over the influences of the cabinet…We have cabinet members who are doing less than what they want to because of his outsized influence.
He’s a BIG problem in this administration, and he has been from the beginning.
Americans who had the misfortune of seeing this little tantrum on CNN lit into Tillis for demanding that Trump can one of his most effective employees.

Biden Tells Majority Black Crowd: ‘I’m A Hell Of A Lot Smarter Than Most Of You’
Biden Tells Majority Black Crowd: ‘I’m A Hell Of A Lot Smarter Than Most Of You’
Authored by Luis Cornelio via Headline USA,
Former President Joe Biden made a rare public appearance Friday and drew criticism over what some observers described as a racially insensitive remark.
Speaking at the funeral of civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson, Biden told attendees — including prominent civil rights figures and other notable guests — “I’m a hell of a lot smarter than most of you.”
Biden made the comment during a roughly 20-minute speech honoring Jackson while recounting a story about his childhood and how he was mocked for having a stutter.
“I, as a kid, was a relatively good athlete and pretty good student, but I stuttered — to talk like that,” Biden said, while mimicking his childhood stutter.
The crowd responded with laughter.
“Now, if I told you all earlier, when I was a kid, I had a cleft palate or club foot, none of you would have laughed,” Biden continued.
“But it’s okay to laugh at stuttering. I’m not being critical of you, but think about it. It’s the one place where people think you’re stupid. Oh, really? I’m a hell of a lot smarter than most of you.”
Biden then added, “All kidding aside, it makes you feel really small. It makes you feel really small.”
On X, some conservative critics pointed out that Biden made the remark while speaking at the funeral of a civil rights leader before a crowd that included several well-known black leaders and public figures.
Among those in attendance were former President Barack Obama, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Other notable black figures present included filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry, leftist activist Cornel West, NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas and singer Jennifer Hudson.
Several other political figures also attended the funeral, including former President Bill Clinton, twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Illinois Gov. J. B. Pritzker and California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Notably, Gavin Newsom also came under fire last week after telling a crowd in Atlanta — a predominantly black city — that he was “just like you” because he had received a below-average SAT score.
