Trump Designates Anti-Communism Week In Election Day Proclamation
Trump Designates Anti-Communism Week In Election Day Proclamation
Authored by Travis Gillmore via The Epoch Times,President Donald Trump declared Nov. 1 through Nov. 7 as Anti-Communism Week with a presidential action signed on Election Day.Communism is the exact opposite of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness – the very principles America was founded on. pic.twitter.com/xFhAEYgkDH— The White House (@WhiteHouse) November 3, 2026″This week, we honor the victims of socialism and communism by remembering their lives, defending the freedoms that were denied, renewing our resolve to safeguard the Republic entrusted to us, and reminding ourselves that what we have created as a Nation stands as the greatest testament to human freedom in the history of the world,” the proclamation issued Nov. 3 reads.”I call upon all Americans to stand firm in their defense against any threat to the American way of life and to protect our burning flame of liberty from the darkness of communism.”The document describes socialism and communism as persistent threats to Americans’ liberty, ideologies designed to “eliminate individual opportunity, subjugate individuals to the state, and extinguish the God-given rights upon which free nations are built.”Trump contrasted communism’s harmful nature – utilizing “control over human thought, creativity, and political expression, resulting in suffering, poverty, exploitation, violence, and misery for millions” – with the ideals instilled by the nation’s founders.”We must remain vigilant in defending the principles that sustain our Republic and ensure the lessons of history are never forgotten nor repeated,” he wrote in the proclamation.”[W]e renew our commitment to protect the sacred values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from the chains of tyranny.”More than a billion people are living under a communist regime’s control in five countries around the world, including the Chinese Communist Party, Cuba’s Communist Party, the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, the Workers’ Party of North Korea, and the Communist Party of Vietnam.Historically, communism is responsible for more than 100 million deaths globally. The timing of the action, falling while the earliest polls were closing, comes after Trump criticized Democratic Party candidates as socialists and communists while on the campaign trail crisscrossing the nation over the past month. After a wave of candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America won primary elections across the country earlier this year, Republicans focused their messaging on countering communism and socialist policies. The Democratic Socialists of America made national headlines last year with the election of Zohran Mamdani as New York City mayor. His election spurred a flurry of criticism from Republicans, who said it was a signal the Democratic Party was moving far left on the political spectrum. The president’s Nov. 3 proclamation serves as a commitment to protect the Constitution from insidious acts, though it is limited in terms of legal authority.Trump issued a similar action last year and has long voiced opposition to communist and socialist agendas. In July 2025, he also proclaimed Captive Nations Week, continuing a tradition established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1959 to counter the threat of communism. Trump gave his support to “every person living under a totalitarian regime” and said he was committed “to advancing a new era of peace where freedom is cherished, sovereignty is respected, and every nation can live without fear of tyranny or oppression.”Legislation introduced by Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) last year sought to make Anti-Communism Week an annual occurrence, though the bill has stalled in committee.

Democratic socialist sweeps into DC mayor’s office, signals openness to working with Trump
A Democratic socialist whom President Donald Trump previously called a “communist” cruised to victory in the Washington, D.C. mayoral race Tuesday and signaled she is open to working with the administration.Janeese Lewis George, a 38-year-old D.C. councilmember, captured nearly 85% of the ranked choice vote in the contest against Green Party candidate Robert Gross and Independent candidate Rhonda Hamilton, according to the latest data from the District of Columbia Board of Elections.”The people of D.C. elect the mayor of D.C., and I am willing to work with this administration to the benefit of D.C. residents,” Lewis George told FOX 5 DC. “And I’m also willing to stand up to this administration when it comes to doing just that.”One of the things we’re going to do early in my administration is a forensic analysis of every District agency, making sure we’re taking account of savings and spending, and also fraud and abuse and mishandling,” she added. “Those are ways that we, as a District government, can improve and make sure that District taxpayers trust us with their dollars.”TRUMP CALLS LIKELY DC MAYOR JANEESE LEWIS GEORGE A ‘COMMUNIST’ AND VOWS TO BLOCK HER AGENDALewis George will replace the outgoing Democrat mayor, Murial Bowser, who assumed office in 2015 and announced last year that she would not be running for re-election.”Good morning DC. This is what the other side looks like,” Bowser wrote on X Wednesday morning. “We promised to get here with our Home Rule intact and electing our next leaders. Congratulations to Mayor-Elect Janeese Lewis George. I’ll run through the tape and support a seamless transition. I love you, DC.”Lewis George now joins a group of Democratic socialist mayors including Zohran Mamdani of New York City, Katie Wilson of Seattle, and Mayor-elect David Morales of Providence, Rhode Island.”Washington DC, thank you for trusting this Daughter of the District to lead us!” Lewis George wrote on a message on X announcing her victory.Lewis George told The Associated Press earlier this year that she will work to address “the affordability crisis here in D.C., which the Trump administration has only made worse by unjustly firing federal employees en masse and militarizing our streets.”MAMDANI-BACKED SOCIALIST WINS NYC HOUSE SEAT AS DSA EXPANDS ITS REACH IN CONGRESSFollowing her primary victory in June, Trump vowed on Truth Social that he would not let candidates like Lewis George destroy the city.”Janeese Lewis George, the Communist who is almost certainly going to be elected Mayor of Washington, D.C., has stated that she wants to empty the prisons, make D.C. a Sanctuary City, oppose ICE, welcome Criminal Illegal Aliens back into our beloved Capital, resist Anti-Crime Crackdowns, Defund the Police, continue and expand Cashless Bail, and so many other Capital destroying ‘things,’” the president said at the time.”In the end, it will never work out, nor will I let it even have a chance because I have worked too hard to make Washington, D.C., the Envy of the World, with almost No Crime, and a Beautification process that has been second to none,” Trump continued. “I will meet with Janeese Lewis George, but must forewarn everyone that Washington, D.C., is again a Safe and Prestigious Community.”Many people, including myself, have worked long and hard to get it there, and we will not let it be destroyed by a Communist adherent who has no intention to, MAKE WASHINGTON GREAT AGAIN!” the president added.Fox News Digital’s Greg Wehner contributed to this post.
Radical socialist wing’s huge night reveals ascending clout within Democratic Party
Democratic Socialists of America are poised to claim victory in two-thirds of the Tuesday elections in which it endorsed a candidate, making the radical offshoot an ascending force within the Democratic Party. From Berkeley, Calif., to New York City, the hard-left group saw its preferred candidates win, underscoring how it is driving the larger party further toward socialism. The flex began in primary season, when the disciplined DSA took advantage of low turnout in deep-blue state and local elections to oust more moderate Democratic candidates. The fact that it carried through the general election solidifies the DSA’s power within the party.Fox News Digital analyzed races for 161 candidate contests in DSA’s election tracker and found:At 12:11 a.m., the DSA’s official X account posted a message with early returns: “Over 50 DSA victories tonight prove socialism can win in the U.S. Workers deserve more and a reality where all of us live with dignity and hope is closer than we think. The job’s not done, though. Tomorrow, we continue organizing, fighting, and winning for the working class!”The DSA didn’t respond to a request for comment.DSA also endorsed an estimated 58 ballot measures, ranging from rent control, public banking and social housing to abortion rights, voting rights and tax initiatives, with many sailing to victory.DEMOCRATS STORM TO CONTROL OF CONGRESS, BUT BLUE WAVE COULD GROW EVEN BIGGERAmong the candidates, the database lists 11 federal races, 88 local contests, 60 state competitions and two municipal races. The geographic and political range is noteworthy. In Berkeley, five DSA-backed candidates competed for the Rent Stabilization Board. Four — Ida Martinac, Vylma Ortiz, Nathan Mizell and Avery Arbaugh — were leading for the five available seats in the latest Alameda County returns. The fifth DSA-backed candidate, Derek Rodriguez, was trailing.CHECK OUT THE FOX NEWS ELECTION HUBAt the other end of the spectrum, DSA-backed candidates won or were leading in congressional districts on the East Coast.Seven DSA candidates running in traditionally Democratic congressional districts have won their races. They include Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez in New York; Melat Kiros in Colorado; Donavan McKinney in Michigan; and Chris Rabb in Pennsylvania. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won New York’s 14th Congressional District. Rashida Tlaib won in Michigan’s 12th Congressional District. Angela Gonzales-Torres is expected to win in California’s 34th District. Two DSA-backed House candidates lost or expected to lose: Mai Vang in California’s 7th District is losing and Lauren Jewett in Louisiana’s 1st District lost..One of the most revealing races is in Ann Arbor, Mich., where democratic socialist Yousef Rabhi defeated longtime Democratic Mayor Christopher Taylor in the primary before advancing to the general election, which he won yesterday. The upset showed DSA’s ability to challenge not only Republicans, but also the Democratic establishment from within its own primary process. In Los Angeles, DSA-backed City Councilmember Nithya Raman’s unexpectedly close race against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass offers an even bigger test of whether the organization can move from winning legislative seats to capturing executive power in America’s second-largest city; early returns show the race too close to call.LA MAYORAL HOPEFUL NITHYA RAMAN CALLS HERSELF BOTH A ‘CAPITALIST’ AND ‘DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST’Results in New York state are particularly important, following DSA-backed New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s rise to victory and power last year.According to election results, 17 DSA-backed New York candidates are winners or expected winners, including three members of Congress, one state senator, 12 state Assembly candidates and one county legislator. In California, DSA saw some defeats, revealing influence but not dominance. Of 43 California candidates, 23 were listed as winning or leading while 17 are trailing. The DSA was created in 1982 through the merger of the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee and the New American Movement. Its roots are in socialist, labor, feminist and community organizing, but its national organization includes Marxist and communist wings. On its election tracker, the DSA created graphics of its corporate logo — the red rose — spilling onto the page like confetti. DSA uses the red rose in its brand because of its longstanding history as an international symbol of socialism, labor organizing and working-class solidarity. The image also evokes the 1912 “Bread and Roses” textile strike, when workers “bread” and “roses,” symbolizing dignity. DSA’s logo combines the rose with two clasped hands, which the organization says symbolizes multiracial solidarity against capitalism and “divide-and-conquer” tactics.DEMOCRATS NO LONGER HAVE THE NO. 1 WEAPON TO KEEP THEIR SOCIALIST WING IN LINEDSA’s strategy has been clever. DSA isn’t formally a political party, and most of its candidates run on the Democratic Party ballot line because the country’s winner-take-all system and state ballot-access rules make independent parties difficult to build. DSA’s strategy is to use Democratic primaries and local nonpartisan elections to elect candidates who identify with socialism and then organize them into a larger socialist movement.DSA uses the Democratic ballot line as an electoral vehicle while openly describing its long-term goal as building an independent mass socialist party and ending capitalism. Its current endorsement criteria require candidates to identify publicly as socialists, support DSA’s national platform and, for national endorsements, meet its anti-Zionist requirements.DEMOCRATS NO LONGER HAVE THE NO. 1 WEAPON TO KEEP THEIR SOCIALIST WING IN LINEThe results reveal that DSA is influential where three conditions exist: a safe Democratic district, a low-turnout primary and a disciplined local chapter capable of canvassing, fundraising and mobilizing volunteers. While the DSA has muscle, the results don’t show that DSA controls the Democratic Party nationally – yet. About one in three candidate contests are confirmed losses or expected losses. The group’s strongest results were concentrated in blue urban districts and local offices.DSA’s reach also extends from Baltimore school boards to California education districts. DSA-backed candidates are winning or expected to win nine school-board or education-board races, including seats from Baltimore, Minneapolis and Chicago to Ferndale, Mich., Durham, N.C., and Petaluma, Inglewood and the Centinela Valley, Calif. The geographic spread shows that DSA’s electoral strategy isn’t limited to congressional districts or major-city councils. It is also targeting the local institutions that shape curriculum, labor policy and education spending, stretching from the East Coast through the Midwest to the West Coast.
Rams QB’s wife complains the NFL screwed team out of a true bye week, worst TV quad box ever & Christmas beer

She’s been a fan of my work going back years, like a decade, when she was outspoken in Detroit where she once called a radio show to confirm that she paid for her own breast implants when it was implied that her husband used his money for the boob job. This week, Kelly, 37, is making headlines over her latest comments over how the Rams aren’t getting a true bye week because they’ll be playing on Thanksgiving Eve. Instead of a full two weeks off, her husband’s team will get just 10 days.NFL STAR MATTHEW STAFFORD’S WIFE MAKES CLEAR DISTINCTION ABOUT QB’S NAME: ‘HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL'”Just curious to hear the thought process behind making the Rams the only team in the NFL without a true bye week. Because damn, after 18 years around this league, even I need a week off during the season…and I have never played a single snap,” she wrote on Instagram.”I’m tired just watching from the stands. Can’t imagine how the guys feel.”It sucks getting old, Kelly. I feel you. I hear you, but this complaint is going to sound hollow to people who go to jobs they hate and make way less than the $400 million that Matthew has banked over his career.Guys, relax, Matthew doesn’t always agree with his wife’s complaints. During a podcast where Kelly complained about her feet hurting from walking around a game in cowboy boots, the Rams’ Super Bowl-winning QB had no sympathy.”You choose to do these trips,” Matthew said of Kelly’s need to go on the road and run herself ragged. “No one is telling you to do them,” he added while the camera pans to Kelly in shock.”Listen, I don’t know if this is going to be your last year. I’m trying to make it a family year. I do this for you!” Kelly fired back.If there’s a silver lining, Kelly, Matthew and their girls will celebrate at home on Thanksgiving to rest their feet after a Thanksgiving Eve in their suite.📩 Email: joe.kinsey@outkick.comSend photos, stories, tips, rants—whatever you’ve got.📰 Screencaps Page:👉 Read the latest ScreencapsRemember this woman from over the summer? Actress Mckenna Grace rejects Hollywood nudity, ‘hypersexual’ roles
Rising Hollywood star Mckenna Grace has drawn a firm line against participating in on-screen nudity, and separately revealed that her dream is to one day play a Disney princess.Speaking with Cosmopolitan, Grace explained that she respects actors who appear in explicit scenes but said those roles do not align with her personal career goals.”At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things,” Grace said when asked whether there were any roles she would turn down.”I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change,” she added.NATALIE PORTMAN SAYS BEING SEXUALIZED AS A CHILD STAR FORCED HER TO BECOME A ‘GOOD GIRL’ AS PROTECTIONThe 20-year-old actress, who is set to appear in the upcoming “Hunger Games” prequel “Sunrise on the Reaping,” began acting as a child. Her credits include the “Ghostbusters” films, “Scream 7” and Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” for which she earned an Emmy nomination.Grace said she does not intend to limit herself to wholesome roles. However, she hopes to pursue opportunities that align with her personal boundaries and long-term ambitions.”It’s not like I only do wholesome things — my character literally gets gutted by Ghostface in ‘Scream’ but my dream is to try and be a Disney princess someday,” Grace added. On Tuesday, Grace clarified on Instagram that “The two quotes being used right now in these titles are unrelated,” referring to her comments about wanting to play a Disney princess role. “I’m not uncomfortable doing nude scenes/hypersexual roles simply because ‘I want to be a Disney princess,’ it’s just because of my own personal comfortability I have with that sort of thing right now at this point in my life!” Grace added. DISNEY ALUM CHRISTY CARLSON ROMANO RIPS HOLLYWOOD FOR FAILING CHILD STARS AFTER HAYDEN PANETTIERE’S DEATHGrace is not alone in setting boundaries around intimate scenes in Hollywood. Entertainment critic Christian Toto suggested that Grace’s earlier appearances on family-friendly shows may have influenced her decision.”Mckenna got her showbiz start on family-friendly shows like ‘Crash & Bernstein.’ Perhaps some of those lessons have stuck,” Toto, host of “The Hollywood in Toto Podcast,” told Fox News Digital.”Or, she’s seen former child stars go the hyper-sexual route and wants no part of it. Either way, her instincts here are solid, and she may just carve a healthy lane for her Hollywood career moving forward,” he added.Actress Amy Adams previously recalled turning down a sexually explicit comedy sketch after portraying Giselle in Disney’s 2007 film “Enchanted.” Speaking on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Adams said she declined a graphic “Saturday Night Live” musical sketch proposed by Andy Samberg because she was mindful of the film’s young audience.”I was so keenly aware of all the young girls that were watching ‘Enchanted,’” Adams said. “And I didn’t want to be the princess singing about that particular act, you know?”BELLA THORNE SAYS HOLLYWOOD TREATED HER LIKE A KID ON SCREEN AND AN ADULT OFF CAMERAOther actors have also established boundaries around intimate scenes. “You” star Penn Badgley discussed his request to reduce intimate scenes on his “Podcrushed” podcast in 2023, citing his marriage as a factor in the decision.Veteran actor Neal McDonough has also spoken publicly about his longstanding refusal to participate in sex scenes or kiss other actresses on screen, citing his Catholic faith and respect for his wife.Meanwhile, Angel Studios announced “The Angel Promise,” a set of content standards that the Utah-based studio says will prohibit on-screen sex, nudity and gratuitous profanity in its original releases. In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Angel Studios co-founder and chief content officer Jeff Harmon argued that Hollywood has increasingly moved away from the values of family audiences.”I think Hollywood generally kind of lives in a bubble,” Harmon said. “These are excellent craftsmen. They’re the best storytellers in the world. Hollywood has built the best storytelling infrastructure in the world.”COMEDIAN LEANNE MORGAN CALLS OUT HOLLYWOOD FOR LIVING IN A ‘BUBBLE’ AND MISJUDGING WHAT AUDIENCES WANT TO SEE”But at the same time, they’ve kind of drifted more and more away from the values-based audience that they used to serve,” Harmon said. “And with that, in our view, as brothers and as fathers, as a father, Hollywood hasn’t been giving me consistently what I need. Once in a while, you get a good one, but you have to sift through all these things to find your good movies and your good stories.”Harmon said that the studio’s pledge guarantees families will never have to worry about encountering graphic material, reflecting what he described as an audience-first model that aims to step out of the “Hollywood bubble” and into “middle America’s shoes.”Fox News Digital’s Rachel del Guidice contributed to this report.
Never Forget: Dirty John Thune Refused to Pass the SAVE Act for Secure Elections – Then Warned the Republicans Could Lose the US Senate
On Tuesday night, Republicans were trounced by radical Democrats in state after state.
Republicans, so far, have lost seven US Senate seats in the midterms with zero gains (as of 12:30 AM Wednesday morning).
Democrats flipped seven states, including: Iowa, Kansas, Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas.
And they did it with some pretty awful candidates. Like how does this wormy guy Talarico, who likes group sex, win in conservative Texas with more votes than Kamala Harris received in 2024?
One thing we know for sure is that if Republicans had passed and signed into law the SAVE America Act that ensures fair and legitimate elections this could have been a different night.
Senator John Thune refused to push this bill through the US Senate. He said he couldn’t do it. Several brilliant pundits and attorneys said he could.
But Democrats were fortunate enough not to have to worry about voter ID’s or non-citizens or pretend people voting. Who was going to stop them?
RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune then later warned that Republicans could lose control of the United States Senate, after he spent months refusing to use his leadership position to pass President Trump’s overwhelmingly popular SAVE America Act.
Thune admitted during an interview with South Dakota television station KELO in September that he was concerned about Democrats seizing the Senate in the November midterm elections.
“I worry about that, for sure,” Thune said. “I’m a realist, and I just think you, I don’t ever try and sugarcoat things. I think it’s a competitive environment right now. I think we got the highest-quality candidates.”
Democrats needed to pick up four seats to regain control of the Senate.
Perhaps Thune should ask himself why Republican voters are demoralized.
The SAVE Act is commonsense election-integrity legislation that requires documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote, mandates voter identification in federal elections, and requires states to remove noncitizens from their voter rolls.
These provisions are overwhelmingly popular with the American people.
A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll found that 71% of registered voters supported the entire SAVE America Act, including 69% of independents and 50% of Democrats.
The poll also found that 81% supported voter ID, 80% favored removing noncitizens from voter rolls, and 75% backed proof-of-citizenship requirements.
But John Thune would not pass the bill. John knew better.
Senator Mike Lee responded to Thune’s interview by pointing to the obvious solution:
“If only there were a bill the Senate could reconvene to debate and pass—one supported by 80% of all voters that could unite Republicans, expand our reach, and help us win elections…
“Oh wait.”

Lee also rejected Thune’s claim that Republicans lack the votes to pass the legislation.
“John Thune is mistaken,” Lee wrote.
“We do have the votes to pass the SAVE America Act—because we have a simple majority.
“All we lack is the will to enforce the talking filibuster (requiring filibustering senators to speak), and to stay in session continuously until it passes.
“It’d pass.”

Article III Project founder Mike Davis also weighed in, accusing Thune of crushing enthusiasm among Republican voters and then acting surprised by the political consequences.
“John Thune refuses to pass the SAVE America Act, with the support of 80% of Americans,” Davis wrote.
“He has demoralized the Republican base.
“Then he acts surprised he may lose the Senate.”
