Emergency personnel responded to what the Marine Corps described as an “aircraft mishap” on the flight line at about 10 a.m. local time involving an F-35 assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 11, said 1st Lt. Blake Starbuck. The aircraft was based at MCAS Miramar.

The incident was a “Class A mishap involving a Marine Corps F-35B in the vicinity of MCAS Miramar,” the U.S. Marines told Fox News. The pilot ejected and was recovered.

Cam Skattebo’s backflipping at Fanatics Fest reportedly earned him a talking-to from Giants

July 31, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: Uncategorized

You may recall that Fanatics Fest took place a couple of weeks ago, creating an avalanche of what we in the biz call “content,” with pretty much every big name in sports, entertainment and sports entertainment under one roof. However, there may have been no story with as many legs — pun intended — as the backflip heard ’round the world from New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo. And it reportedly got him a bit of a talking-to from some of the Giants’ top brass.PATRIOTS RB RHAMONDRE STEVENSON NARROWLY AVOIDS INJURY AT CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME AFTER NASTY COLLISIONSkattebo is back in action this training camp after suffering a massive leg injury last season.Of course, that’s why watching him not just try a backflip but wrench his knee while going down had some Giants fans worried.Head coach John Harbaugh commented a few days later that his second-year running back could’ve “at least stuck the landing,” but a report claims that was not the end of the discussions surrounding Backflipgate.According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, Harbaugh and GM Joe Schoen talked to Skattebo about sidelining his backflip habit, which he also busted out at a charity softball game in May.I’m sure there have been many, many talks like this in the National Football League. A coach and a GM going to a player and saying, “Hey, this part of your behavior needs to change for the good of the organization.”But has it ever centered on backflips?DETAILS ON GIANTS OUTFIELDER’S SCOOTER CRASH TAKE BIZARRE TWIST AS TEAM ANNOUNCES HE WILL MISS REST OF SEASONThere’s no way, right?Every other form of self-destructive behavior you can think of has probably come up at some point, but never before have adults had to tell another adult, “Hey, you know those backflips you do? No, we agree, they are very badass — we’re just going to need you to curtail them for a bit.”Something tells me this talk won’t take, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see some Skattebo flips in the end zone this season.

Former Latvian ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant arrested by ICE after violent criminal history revealed

July 31, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: Uncategorized

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a former contestant on Latvia’s version of “Dancing with the Stars” who authorities say overstayed his visa and has a criminal history that includes aggravated assault with a gun, sexual battery and drug-related offenses.ICE announced Friday that agents arrested Roberts Nemiro, a Latvian national, in San Francisco on Tuesday after a referral from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Nemiro is in removal proceedings after remaining in the United States beyond the expiration of his visa.Nemiro appeared on “Dejo ar zvaigzni!,” the Latvian adaptation of the British television series “Strictly Come Dancing,” better known in the U.S. as “Dancing with the Stars.”ICE ARRESTS 15 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WITH CONVICTIONS INCLUDING HOMICIDE, RAPE AND CHILD SEX CRIMES OVER WEEKENDAccording to DHS, Nemiro entered the United States on a visa in October 2011 but remained in the country after it expired in August 2012. The agency said his criminal history includes convictions for aggravated assault of a non-family member with a gun and disorderly conduct.DHS also said he has been arrested on charges of battery, sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.”This illegal alien from Latvia may have once had a career as a professional dancer on TV, but has turned into a career criminal with a rap sheet that includes aggravated assault with a gun, sexual battery, and drug possession,” DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement.WATCH: DEM DEMANDS ‘ONE CASE’ WHERE SANCTUARY CITIES DIDN’T TURN OVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS; DHS PROVIDES LIST”Despite California being a sanctuary state, ICE was able to arrest this criminal and get him off our streets, and he will soon be deported from our country. ICE is bringing the curtain down on his illegal stay and crime spree here in the U.S.,” Bis added. The arrest comes as the Trump administration continues to highlight immigration enforcement efforts involving noncitizens accused or convicted of violent crimes while criticizing California’s sanctuary policies. In Friday’s release, DHS cited several recent cases involving illegal immigrants arrested or sought by ICE in California and argued that the state’s sanctuary policies have hindered federal immigration enforcement.A representative for ICE did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for additional information.

Victor Reacts: Transgender Ideology Will Take Children From Christian Parents (VIDEO)

If you are a parent, this is why you need to be paying attention and speaking out against the radical transgender ideology.
If left unchecked, it will result in the state trying to take your child from you and labeling you an abuser for standing on truth.
The Gateway Pundit reported,

A Christian mother and her husband are fighting back after Oregon officials effectively branded them child abusers because they refused to “affirm” their teenage daughter’s transgender identity.
Nicole and David Calaway filed a federal lawsuit on July 15 against their daughter’s former therapist and multiple Oregon Department of Human Services officials, accusing them of violating the couple’s First and Fourteenth Amendment rights.
“It has destroyed our lives,” Nicole told The Daily Signal.
According to the lawsuit, Child Protective Services removed Nicole’s then-15-year-old daughter, identified as K.A., from the Calaways’ home on July 18, 2024.
The seizure occurred one day after Nicole and her daughter reportedly terminated the services of therapist Jennifer Forster. Court documents allege that Forster then contacted the child-abuse hotline after being encouraged by ODHS caseworker Rachel Woods.
In September 2024, ODHS informed the couple that they were considered responsible for causing their daughter “mental injury.”
“Your adverse reactions to [K.A.] expressing their gender identity have caused serious harm to [K.A.’s] psychological functioning,” Woods allegedly wrote.
In other words, Oregon bureaucrats treated Christian parents’ refusal to embrace radical gender ideology as child abuse.

All Christian parents need to circle the wagons and protect their children from this radical ideology.
Otherwise, you could be the next parent targeted like this.

Iconic candy chain closes flagship store because of labor issues

Iconic Ghirardelli Chocolate Company closed its flagship retail store in San Francisco as part of a union contract dispute work stoppage. The chocolate candy company closed its Original Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream Shop at 900 North Point at Ghirardelli Square on July 30 during a three-day strike over a union contract dispute related to healthcare insurance, according to SFGate. The Ghirardelli workers’ union, Unite Here Local 2, has been in contract negotiations for over a year with the company and accused it of bargaining in bad faith by not providing information related to a healthcare surcharge customers must pay on purchases. The union wants to know how much of the surcharge actually is paid toward covering employees’ health insurance.

Employees launch three-day strikeWorkers set up a picket line outside the store until it closed on July 30, then moved the picketing operations outside two other of the company’s Ghirardelli Square candy shops. The union claims that Ghirardelli is proposing an alternative health insurance plan that would provide less coverage for health costs than the current union-backed health insurance plan.Healthcare costs for union employees could rise significantly, union spokesperson Sonja Karabel told SFGate. An employee who relies on the healthcare plan regularly was concerned with the changes.”I need it to maintain my medicine every day,” worker Leah Urbana said.Workers picket for good health insurance”They’re fighting to preserve their good health insurance, and they’re fighting against a plan that could leave them with thousands of dollars in medical bills or worse,” according to Karabel. The work stoppage is the first time since 1984 that all of the shop’s workers have gone on strike, Karabel said.A spokesperson for Ghirardelli did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheStreet.Company generates $1 billion in revenueGhirardelli hit a milestone in 2025, as it for the first time generated over $1 billion in net trade sales revenue for the year, according to a LinkedIn post by CEO Justin Reese.Ghirardelli, founded in 1852 in San Francisco, operates 19 Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream Shops across the country. The company has candy stores at tourist destinations, such as the Empire State Building in New York, Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim, Calif.; Disney Studio Store in Hollywood, Calif.; Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.; and on The Strip in Las Vegas. The historic chocolate company was acquired by Swiss chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprungli in 1998. Lindt’s other brands include Russell Stover, Caffarel, and Hofbauer/Kufferle.Despite Ghirardelli’s success, other candy companies have faced declining revenues that have led to bankruptcy filings.Another candy maker’s declining revenueNot every candy company is enjoying Ghirardelli’s success. Other candy manufacturers, such as private brand maker Candy Sense Inc., needed to restructure their business in a bankruptcy filing after facing declining revenues over the last two years.Economic issues affected some companies in the candy sector as consumer attitudes toward buying candy and inflation were identified as the main culprits in 2025 by the National Confectioners Association’s State of Treating 2026 report.“Finances played an overriding role in confectionery purchase decisions last year, particularly for households that were carefully monitoring finances. Inflation boosted dollar sales in 2025, while unit and volume sales struggled,” according to the National Confectioners Association.Related: Iconic supermarket chain closes more stores and facilities
