TheStreet aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. Why we love this dealCar repair can be a real headache. Whether you have the wherewithal and the automotive tools to fix it yourself or you plan to take it to the local shop, the first step is to find out what the problem is. The only way to be sure is by reading the error codes that your car’s internal computer gives you. Thanks to Amazon, you won’t have any trouble doing that yourself. The Ancel AD410 OBD2 Scanner is on sale for only $39 at the moment, which is 22% off the regular price of $50. If you’ve ever wanted to take car repair into your own hands and be sure you’re not getting ripped off by the local mechanic, this is your best option.Ancel AD410 OBD2 Scanner, $39 (was $50) at Amazon

Shop at AmazonWhy do shoppers love it?Have you ever wondered how your mechanic is able to diagnose problems with your vehicle so quickly? This is the answer. This OBD2 scanner is one of the most advanced on the market, thanks to its enhanced diagnostic capabilities. It even tests the O2 sensor and checks for EVAP systems leaks, which not all readers do. It also has a true color QVGA LED display for easy legibility and a user-friendly interface to make readings easier. The scanner fits with all 16 pin ports and even works on most foreign vehicles. Even if you don’t plan on making repairs yourself, it’s good to know exactly what’s ailing your car before taking it to someone else for potentially costly repairs. What’s more, the reader won’t become obsolete as soon as new vehicle models come out. With over a decade in the industry, Ancel makes sure you have access to regular firmware updates for the scanner that you can download via your personal computer. It’s currently able to read errors on vehicles as old as 1996. While it would be nice to read errors on cars older than this, it would require a whole new software set. While the star of this scanner is the software, the externals have plenty to brag about as well. The thick rubberized body is durable yet lightweight. It’s made for long-term use and shouldn’t suffer any major malfunctions if dropped on occasion. The easy-to-maneuver buttons at the bottom of the scanner make using it a breeze. Some buyers might prefer a full touchscreen design, but this option works better for those who may be wearing mechanics gloves.Related: Amazon is selling a $76 9-compartment storage organizer for $55Pros and ConsProsDisplay: The scanner’s LED color screen is easy to read, even in low light situations.Durability: The robust rubberized construction of the reader means it can take some light abuse and still function properly. User interface: Buyers say the scanner is easy to understand and use. Cons Date restrictions: The scanner can only diagnose vehicles going back to 1996, though this covers most cars on the road.Touchscreen: Some users might prefer a full touchscreen design, but three dimensional buttons are more practical.Amazon shoppers were thrilled with the scanner. One described it as “easy to use” before adding that it was a “good tool for troubleshooting check engine codes…it has helped to quickly identify the code causing the issues…Easy to follow instructions…Would recommend.”Shop more deals Ancel AD310 Classic OBD2 Scanner, $30 (was $40) at AmazonZmoon ZM201 OBD2 Auto Scanner, $31 (was $50) at AmazonOwmsic Check Engine Scanner, $38 (was $56) at AmazonThe Ancel AD410 OBD2 Scanner makes car repair diagnosis far simpler. Boeing lands another huge military deal
A fresh military contract just might signal momentum and stability for Boeing (BA). The U.S.-based multinational that designs and builds airplanes, helicopters, rockets, satellites, and missile systems for customers around the world also offers leasing and support services for its products. Boeing ranks among the largest aerospace manufacturers globally and is one of the top defense contractors by revenue, as well as the biggest exporter in the United States by value.Founded in 1916 by William E. Boeing in Seattle, the 100-year-old multinational, has evolved into its current form after merging with McDonnell Douglas in 1997. As of May 2022 to date, its headquarters is located in the Crystal City area of Arlington County, Virginia. Fast forward, the aerospace giant just landed a new deal with the U.S. Air Force, adding to what has already been a busy year of major orders and operational recovery. Boeing (BA) stock, trading around $208 according to Yahoo Finance, has gained solid ground over the past year, rising more than 50%.But this latest win isn’t just about the dollar value. It comes at a time when Boeing is rebuilding trust, stabilizing production, and trying to prove its long-term growth story is back on track.Boeing wins new Air Force contract for KC-46 supportBoeing just secured a $101.29 million contract tied to its KC-46 tanker program, a key part of its defense business. The deal, awarded by the U.S. Air Force, covers repair parts and support services under a one-year agreement funded through fiscal 2026–2027 budgets. The work is expected to run through April 6, 2027, with the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation overseeing the contract.Related: Boeing faces new threat as Iran war raises pressureSo why does this matter? While $101 million may not move the needle compared to Boeing’s massive commercial deals, it reinforces steady defense revenue streams, continued reliance on Boeing’s military platforms, and long-term support contracts that add predictable cash flow. And in a volatile global environment, defense stability can be just as valuable as big commercial wins.

Boeing also has a rich list of the latest deals This latest contract is just one piece of a much larger trend. So far in 2026, Boeing has been on a deal-making streak, and some of these agreements are massive. Here are a few highlights:Korean Air approved a $36 billion order for 103 aircraft (777-9, 787-10, 737-10, and 777-8F), with deliveries running through 2039, according to Reuters.Air Astana finalized its largest-ever deal for up to 15 787-9 Dreamliners, expanding its long-haul fleet to 18 aircraft, including leased unitsEthiopian Airlines maintains a landmark commitment for up to 67 jets, including 787 Dreamliners and 737 MAX, the largest order by an African airlineChinese carriers are reportedly considering a massive order of up to 500 737 MAX jets, potentially Boeing’s biggest China deal in nearly a decade, as reported on Investing.comDefense segment: United States Air Force awarded contracts for E-4B support and T-38C avionics upgrades in 2026Services segment: Boeing announced its largest-ever landing gear exchange program at the Singapore AirshowThese deals point to one clear fact: Demand for new aircraft is coming back fast. Why now? Airlines are modernizing fleets, expanding long-haul routes, and preparing for future travel demand. And Boeing is positioning itself right at the center of that recovery.Boeing also reported strong fourth-quarter resultsThe company’s latest financial results, reported on January 27, 2026, suggested it’s heading in the right direction. In its fourth-quarter 2025 report, Boeing posted:Revenue of $23.95 billion (up 57% year-over-year)GAAP earnings per share of $10.23 (boosted by a non-operating gain), with core EPS (non-GAAP) at $9.92, beating expectationsPositive free cash flow turned positive in 2025 at $1.06 billion, recovering from a $12 billion loss in the previous year. For the full year, revenue reached $89.5 billion, a 34% increase year-over-year. Boeing also delivered 600 commercial aircraft, its highest total since 2018.Even more striking, Boeing’s backlog has surged to a record $682 billion, including more than 6,100 airplanes. That backlog acts as a long-term revenue pipeline and a signal of strong future demand.Related: United Airlines makes big change to its bags policy”We made significant progress on our recovery in 2025 and have set the foundation to keep our momentum going in the year ahead,” said Kelly Ortberg, Boeing president and chief executive officer. The company’s next earnings report is scheduled for April 22, which could offer more insight into whether this momentum is continuing.Boeing’s stock performance shows a 50% 1-year returnFrom a market perspective, according to Yahoo Finance, Boeing’s recovery is becoming more visible. Here’s how it stacks up against the S&P 500 as of April 7, 2026:Up 51.23% over the past year, outperforming the S&P 500’s 30.71% gainDown 3.28% year-to-date, lagging the S&P 500’s 3.34% riseSlightly down 0.65% over three years, versus the S&P 500’s 61.19% surgeDown 16.86% over five years, compared to the S&P 500’s 62.18% gainThe data shows Boeing’s recovery is gaining traction in the near term, especially over the past year, where it has clearly outperformed the broader market. However, the year-to-date pullback suggests some recent pressure, while the three- and five-year figures show how far the company still has to go to fully catch up.So, what’s driving the recent strength, and what comes next?Boeing is gaining momentum, supported by rising aircraft deliveries, major contract wins, improved financial performance, and renewed investor confidence. Recent moves, including the acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems, stabilizing 737 MAX production, and ramping up 787 output, show a clear push toward tighter production control and consistency.More Airlines:American Air launching 15 new summer routes between U.S. citiesLow-cost airline will launch new flight to South Korea from USAmerican Airlines joins the Spirit Airlines bankruptcy caseLooking ahead, the focus shifts to execution. Key things to watch next include delivery timelines, margin improvement, and continued deal flow, alongside updates from upcoming earnings. Amazon is selling a narrow bookshelf for just $23, and it holds up to 30 pounds
TheStreet aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. Why we love this dealNot every storage problem requires a full wall of shelving. Sometimes the fix is a slim, well-designed unit that quietly handles the overflow — and at a price that won’t make you think twice.Enter the Furinno Fulda 2-Tier Narrow Bookshelf, available on Amazon for $23. It’s not flashy, and it’s not trying to be. What it is, however, is a genuinely practical piece of furniture for anyone dealing with a cramped bedroom, a cluttered home office nook, or a dorm room where every square inch counts.Furinno Fulda 2-Tier Narrow Bookshelf, $23 at Amazon

Shop at AmazonWhy do shoppers love it?Most people shopping for a bookcase default to wide, multi-shelf units and then spend the next six months cramming things onto it while it slowly dominates the room. This bookshelf takes a different approach. With a narrow 6-inch width, this 2-tier bookcase features a closed back and slot-in backboard designed to slide into tighter spots, making it a practical choice for small-space organization without taking over the room. That footprint — less than half a foot wide — is the kind of spec that sounds minor until you’re trying to squeeze storage into a hallway alcove, next to a toilet in a small bathroom, or into a gap beside a desk. The unit includes two shelf levels with one adjustable shelf, so it’s ideal for holding books, binders, notebooks, decor, and small baskets, keeping essentials visible, sorted, and easier to reach each day. That adjustability is what separates this from cheaper, fixed-shelf alternatives that become useless the moment you try to store anything taller than a paperback.Weight capacity tops out at 10 pounds per shelf and 30 pounds total, so this isn’t the unit for your encyclopedia collection or cast-iron knickknacks. This bookcase is engineered for affordability and everyday residential use, not heavy-duty hauling. It’s also quick to assemble, unobtrusive in any room, and priced so low that buying two to flank a doorway or create a reading corner costs less than a single fancy candle. Sometimes the smartest storage solution is also the smallest one.Pros and cons of the Furinno Fulda 2-Tier Narrow BookshelfPros:Affordable: $23 is a small price to pay for this handy item.Ideal for adding storage to unusually small spaces: This will fit in spots that most bookcases won’t since it’s so small.Easy to assemble: Shoppers say it’s a snap to put this together.Cons:It’s tiny: This bookshelf is meant to go in very specific spaces, so it will only work for you if that’s what you’re looking for.Assembly is required: While assembly should be easy, you do still need to put it together yourself.Related: Target is selling a $350 storage cabinet for $90 with 5 compartments and both open and hidden storageMore than 1,100 shoppers have given this bookcase a five-star rating, and it’s earned plenty of praise in the review section as well. “These are nice and simple, pretty durable, and extremely helpful in a small bathroom,” one shopper wrote.”For the size, appearance, and function, I think these are a great value,” a second shopper wrote. “If you need a narrow bookshelf for small areas or to flank another piece of furniture, these are a really practical option.”Shop more deals Furinno 2-Cube Bookshelf, $47 (was $53) at AmazonFurinno 6-Cube Bookshelf, $72 (was $85) at AmazonHomes: Inside and Out 2-Cube Storage Organizer, $28 on AmazonWhether you need some extra storage next to a desk or somewhere to stash extra toilet paper in a tiny bathroom, the Furinno Fulda 2-Tier Narrow Bookshelf can get the job done.
