WATCH: Nick Sortor Goes to Decoy Daniel J. Sullivan’s Home in Alaska, Neighbor Says “He’s Been a Democrat His Entire Life… Always Been a Bernie Sanders or Kamala Harris Supporter”

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: THE NEWS

Nick Sortor interviews Daniel J. Sullivan’s neighbors
Independent journalist Nick Sortor traveled to Decoy Daniel J. Sullivan’s Alaska neighborhood this week to expose the phony candidate and speak to locals who spilled more details about his fake candidacy in the Alaska Senate race.
Daniel J. Sullivan was recruited to run against Incumbent Senator Dan S. Sullivan by a staffer for Democrat challenger Mary Peltola. The staffer was tasked with finding as many Dan Sullivans in Alaska as possible so they could add a second Dan Sullivan to the ballot. The plan reportedly involved traveling to “far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs,” the New York Times revealed after reviewing text messages and documents related to the scandal.
Sullivan was found in “a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air.
Sullivan is nowhere to be found as the Justice Department pursues a criminal investigation involving more than 40 subpoenas.
Sortor traveled to the missing decoy candidate’s home on Sunday amid reports that he’s fled from law enforcement investigating the fraud. He said they “staked out Decoy Dan’s house for SEVERAL hours over TWO DAYS and couldn’t detect even the slightest movements in the house.”
Sortor released footage of himself investigating the empty home, knocking on the door of the main house and an apparent guest house, exploring the area in a remote part of Alaska, and finding a rope, which he described as a noose.
WATCH:

WHERE THE HELL IS DECOY DAN?
I FLEW 22 HOURS to ALASKA to speak with the FAKE Dan Sullivan, and it turns out he FLED THE TOWN
We staked out Decoy Dan’s house for SEVERAL hours over TWO DAYS and couldn’t detect even the slightest movements in the house.
We’re told he hopped on a flight earlier this week after catching wind of the BOMBSHELL story about his recruitment to run for Senate to confuse voters — despite being holed up in his house for the ENTIRE rest of the election.
Decoy Dan is MIA, and FBI is hopefully hot on his trail.
We CANNOT ALLOW this sort of election manipulation in our government.
Throw the BOOK at him, DOJ!
— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) November 1, 2026

Sortor then went to Sullivan’s neighbor’s home to ask if they had seen him, and they revealed that Sullivan is not even a Republican.
Daniel J. Sullivan previously ran in the Senate primary as a Republican and is now running in the general election as a no-party-affiliated candidate after receiving just 2.5% of the vote. He was placed on the ballot to confuse voters into voting for the wrong Dan Sullivan, giving Democrat Mary Peltola a victory in the solid red state.
“He’s been a Democrat his entire life. Every election we drive by there, and he’s always been a Bernie Sanders or a, you know, Kamala Harris supporter, and so for him to call himself a Republican, obviously,” said the man, identified as Mr. Meeks, as his wife chimed in, “it’s questionable.”
“Isn’t election integrity and honesty, shouldn’t that be something that you’d want to run on? Obviously, he’s lying about who he is,” he added.
“I think he could probably make money off this if he sold his story or maybe did a movie. He could call it the Useful Idiot.”
The man’s wife noted that they didn’t know their Senator’s middle initial was S until the decoy Dan debacle and that they penciled in “Dan S.” on their Sullivan for Senate yard sign because “we had to distinguish between the two of them somehow because it was confusing and deceptive.”
“I would think that if he ends up in court and has to hire a lawyer, who’s going to pay his court fees? The Democrats?” The man asked, then noted that the Democrats will abandon him, and “that’s where the useful idiot comes in.”
WATCH:

EXCLUSIVE: DECOY Dan Sullivan’s direct neighbors here in Alaska absolutely RIP him for attempting to DUPE Alaskans by pretending to be a Republican
“He’s ALWAYS been a Bernie Sanders or Kamala Harris supporter!”
“He could probably make money off this if he did a movie. He could call it ‘The Useful Idiot’”
Decoy Dan’s neighbor, Mr. Meeks, has spent his ENTIRE LIFE in Alaska, and he and his incredible wife are SOUNDING THE ALARM on the fraudster that lives next door.
DO NOT ALLOW SLEAZY DEMOCRATS TO SCAM YOU, ALASKA!
— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) November 3, 2026

Several neighbors were seen with signs in their yards, with “Dan S.” penciled in to overcome confusion at the polls.

WOW! MULTIPLE of Decoy Dan Sullivan’s DIRECT NEIGHBORS here in Alaska have put up signs supporting the REAL Dan Sullivan, even writing “DAN S.” in SHARPIE overtop of the name Sullivan
These folks are PlSSED. And rightfully so. They’re being SCAMMED.
No wonder Decoy Dan fled the town!
— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) November 2, 2026

Even Dan Sullivan’s own home had a sign placed out front by his neighbors with “Dan S.” written on it.

Decoy Dan Sullivan now has a “DAN S. SULLIVAN” (the REAL Senator) sign placed in his front yard, as more and more patriots set up signs around town to REBUKE their own neighbor
Decoy Dan FLED — and these folks don’t appreciate it! https://t.co/pWOGBkpsag

‘See you at the gallows’: Watch Congresswoman Haley Stevens get ominous threat for her brave stance

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: THE NEWS

U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich., bets theatened with ‘the gallows’ by an anti-Israel activist in September 2026
In the wake of Haley Stevens switching endorsements from Democrat Abdul El-Sayed to Republican Mike Rogers in the Michigan U.S. Senate race, video of a September threat against the Democrat congresswoman is resurfacing on social media, with the an anti-Israel activist telling her, “We will see you at the gallows.”
The activist followed the U.S. representative from a House office building to her car after a committee hearing, accusing her of supporting genocide in the Jewish state.
“How do you continue to support the bombing of children even now during the ceasefire?” the activist asked.
“Sir, I’m not going to be intimidated by you. I support a two state solution,” Stevens responded.
The activist claimed: “You support genocide.”
“No I don’t. There’s no genocide,” Stevens replied.

Activist: “You don’t care about the ethnic cleansing.”
Haley Stevens: “There is no genocide going on, sir.”
Activist: “You don’t care about women being raped, men being raped.”
Haley Stevens: “There’s no genocide going on.”
Activist: “You don’t care about dogs being used as weapons of raping Palestinians, right?”
Haley Stevens: “There is no genocide going on.”
Activist: “What about the raping, what about the West Bank violence?”
Haley Stevens: “Anti-Zionism is a hate movement.”
Activist: “What you are doing right now is disgusting.”
Haley Stevens: “You’re harassing me.”
Activist: “Time will show that you are a disgusting war criminal and you will go to The Hague one day. We will see you at the gallows. We will see you at the gallows. You’re in a hate movement! You’re a Zionist!”
Haley Stevens shouted back: “I’m a proud Zionist! I love Israel!”
On Sept. 19, El-Sayed, the Muslim candidate who barely defeated Stevens in the Democrat Senate primary, responded to the video, indicating: “Congresswoman Stevens and I might disagree on some important things – but we agree on so much more. If we believe in a more peaceful and just world, we have to express our disagreements without harassment or aggression.”
“Harassment like the kind she’s experienced is unkind and unproductive, and it puts her personal safety at risk. This behavior is not representative of our movement and should cease immediately.”
Monday night, fresh reaction to the recirculated video was harsh.
Kimberly Klacik, a former Republican congressional candidate from Baltimore endorsed by President Donald Trump, said: “Her party is loving every second of this … there are sick people on the Left.”

Other comments include:
“This man repeatedly says ‘see you at the gallows.’ These insurrectionists openly call for murder everywhere they go.”
“It’s clear they have become a DSA mob of loons. It’s insane how far they have gone with the violence and fear mongering. Hope she has plenty of security.”
“This is mafia tactics. It only gets worse from here. Do NOT give these animals power!”
“Poor Haley is learning the hard way how you’re treated if you don’t parrot the Democrat lies. It’s a cruel lesson but hopefully make her and her supporters take a second look at how conservatives have been belittled and lied about for years.”
“Good for her for standing up. He should have been pushed away. This is harassment of a sitting United States congresswoman.”
“Sounds like she’s being threatened by a Hasan Piker follower. Just another terrorist.”
“They are ghouls. She should just switch parties.”
“Get used to it. It’s how they’ve taken over Europe.”

Jeremy Siegel sees an unexpected winner if AI weakens

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: SUCCESS, The Street

For investors to profit, the artificial intelligence industry does not need to continue operating.

That is the unusual message from longtime market professor Jeremy Siegel.

Siegel, a Wharton professor emeritus and senior economist at WisdomTree, said on the Oct. 30 “Behind the Markets” podcast that weakening enthusiasm for AI could push long-term Treasury yields lower and help value stocks.

That would turn one of investors’ main concerns now into an opportunity elsewhere.

Technology stocks have already shown how quickly sentiment can change. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.9% on Oct. 30 as investors questioned AI valuations and the enormous amounts companies are spending on infrastructure.

However, Siegel claims that the same factor that is harming technology equities may be beneficial in other areas.

The need for cash may decrease if businesses become less aggressive about constructing data centers and funding AI systems. According to Siegel, it may result in lower long-term interest rates.

In general, lower rates increase the value of current bonds and may support equities in industries that have had difficulty with the AI trade.

For ordinary investors, that creates a simple lesson: owning something besides the biggest AI winners may finally matter again.

Jeremy Siegel sees a second side to the AI trade

Siegel starts his case by showing how much money AI is attracting.

Technology businesses are investing a lot of money on networking equipment, data centers, processors, and power.

Capital is needed for the expenditure.

Siegel contends that increased real interest rates are a result of the giant demand for funds to support the AI buildout.

The process might go the other way when questions arise about whether businesses can generate enough returns on such investments.

In his Oct. 26 WisdomTree commentary, Siegel wrote that the 10-year Treasury yield had moved back below 5% as investors questioned the durability of the AI investment boom.

Bonds and rate-sensitive value stocks were somewhat relieved by the news.

The stock market has already seen this change.

According to Siegel, despite a severe selloff on the Nasdaq, the S&P Value Index and the Russell Value Index both just hit all-time highs.

He doesn’t think the current technology industry is similar to the dot-com bubble.

He does, however, recognize a lesson from that time.

Value stocks increased when the Nasdaq peaked in March 2000 and then fell around 60% over the next year.

“If AI goes down, yields will go down,” according to Jeremy Siegel.

Jeremy Siegel says the AI selloff could create new winnersBloomberg / Getty Images

An AI pullback could help parts of investors’ portfolios

That does not imply that the stock market would benefit from an AI catastrophe.

Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), Alphabet (GOOGL), Amazon (AMZN) and other companies tied to the AI boom could face pressure if investors become less confident that enormous infrastructure investments will generate sufficient returns.

More Wall Street:

Nvidia and Micron are about to lord their successes all over Wall Street

Nvidia, Palantir, and Alphabet send waves through Wall Street

Wall Street elites will pocket windfall from record $46 billion profits

However, an investor focused just on AI could have a completely different experience than one who holds bonds, value stocks, and technology.

Value equities and bonds are ideal hedges against the AI trade, according to Siegel.

The reasoning is simple.

Technology businesses may profit from quicker growth if AI expenditure keeps rising. Bonds and other rate-sensitive assets may face pressure if high demand for funding keeps long-term interest rates elevated.

The connection may change if AI spending is lower than expected.

Weaker data center building, according to Siegel, would result in reduced financing demand, slower economic growth, and less pressure on inflation.

Interest rates could drop as a result.

Because their current fixed payments are more appealing than freshly issued debt, bonds usually increase as market rates decline.

Additionally, lower yields might make value and dividend-paying equities more competitive with bonds.

As a consequence, one investment in the portfolio may be able to offset weakness in another.

Jeremy Siegel says diversification matters again

Owning technology hasn’t given investors much cause for complaint.

Even after the Oct. 30 selloff, the Nasdaq remained up 9.4% for 2026, according to the Associated Press.

However, current market activity highlights the danger of presuming that a small number of businesses can consistently generate profits.

The Nasdaq dropped 2.9% Oct. 30, while worries about AI spending hit technology shares and Treasury yields fell as investors sought safer assets.

Although he does not anticipate a recurrence of the dot-com disaster, Siegel has previously said that an AI failure might result in a 20% to 30% Nasdaq drop.

Compared to another forecast on whether AI is a bubble, his thesis is more useful to the typical investor.

Investors do not necessarily need to accurately predict the future of AI.

They may own assets that, depending on the circumstances, act differently.

Technology companies may continue to gain if AI expenditure continues to provide significant returns.

Bonds and value stocks might act as a counterbalance if interest wanes and long-term rates drop.

Siegel’s warning has a hidden opportunity.

Whether Nvidia and other technology companies climb or fall may depend on more than just the next phase of the AI trade.

It could decide which underutilized components of an investor’s portfolio eventually start to perform well.

Marvell gives up a third of itself to buy its laser supplier

November 3, 2026 MMN Editor Filed Under: SUCCESS, The Street

Last week, I described a fading rally in Lumentum Holdings (LITE) shares as the market marking down a takeover premium in real time. On Monday, November 2, 2026, Marvell Technology (MRVL) made it official. The markdown has gone further than the headline price suggests.

Marvell agreed to buy the laser maker in an all-stock deal valued at $115 billion, according to a press release. Lumentum holders will receive 4.5 Marvell shares for each share they own.

Marvell’s current owners will hold about 67% of the combined company after closing, the companies said. In other words, Marvell is handing a third of itself to Lumentum’s shareholders.

Also read: Marvell may buy its own laser supplier as investors pull back

That split is fixed. The dollar value Lumentum’s holders will receive is not fixed, and Marvell’s falling stock has reduced it.

Marvell’s slide has already erased the deal premium

The press release values the offer at about $1,132 per Lumentum share. The price reflects a 23.9% premium, based on both stocks’ closing prices on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, before deal talk began.

Marvell shares fell about 22% between the leak and the close on Friday, October 30, 2026, partly on a broad chip selloff, according to Reuters.

By my math, a Marvell decline of about 19% wipes out that premium. At Friday’s close, 4.5 Marvell shares were worth roughly $884, below Lumentum’s implied pre-leak price of about $914.

The premium was gone before the deal was announced. On deal day, Marvell shares fell about 10%, and Lumentum dropped about 15% in afternoon trading.

Lumentum falling harder than its buyer stands out. By my math, Lumentum’s discount to the offer’s value roughly doubled from Friday. To me, that gap is the market’s price for waiting until 2028 and for the risk that regulators say no.

Marvell CEO Matt Murphy sees it differently. “Whether we’re trading at $180 or $280,” he told Fox Business, the agreed ownership split “is very, very compelling for Lumentum shareholders.”

He said the split came from him and Lumentum CEO Michael Hurlston “haggling it out” until the terms were “high for me and too low for him.”

Marvell will give Lumentum shareholders about 33% of the combined company in a $115 billion all-stock deal expected to close in the first half of 2028.JHVEPhoto / Getty Images

Lumentum is growing faster than the company buying it

Lumentum’s latest quarter suggests Hurlston had plenty to haggle with. He said in the same interview that the results, released three days early, had “gotten lost in the backwash.”

Revenue jumped about 136% from a year earlier to $1.26 billion, according to Lumentum’s earnings release. By comparison, Marvell’s revenue grew 37% in its latest full quarter, according to its August earnings release. Lumentum is growing more than three times as fast.

More importantly, Hurlston said in the release that Lumentum secured its second major win in near-packaged and co-packaged optics. That win is “backed by purchase commitments exceeding $5 billion,” he said.

Those designs put optics beside or inside the chip package. That commitment matters more than the earnings beat. It shows Marvell is buying contracted demand.

Marvell’s promised savings come from the factory floor

That demand only rewards Marvell’s owners if margins follow. The investor presentation puts the combined non-GAAP gross margin at 57%. Marvell’s own is 58%, so the deal starts by diluting it.

The fix is more than $1 billion in yearly cost savings, mostly from cost of goods sold, according to the presentation. In plain terms, that means cheaper production.

By my math, those savings equal more than 5% of the presentation’s $17.7 billion in combined annualized revenue. Savings of that size would lift the combined gross margin above Marvell’s standalone level.

Yet that payoff waits on a closing expected in the first half of 2028, the press release said. Meanwhile, here is where last week’s three questions stand:

The exchange ratio is settled, handing Lumentum holders about a third of the company.

Adjusted earnings of $4.57 per share beat the $4.22 analysts expected, according to Seeking Alpha.

Cloud Light, the Lumentum module unit that competes with some Marvell chip customers, goes unmentioned in Monday’s press release and presentation.

Murphy’s words sharpen that last risk. He said the combined company could go from “selling an individual component” to selling “an entire module.”

He meant new scale-up designs, but many of Marvell’s chip customers build modules. Last week, I wanted the terms before adding Marvell. Now that comment keeps me on the sidelines for both stocks.

More Marvell:

Marvell may buy its own laser supplier as investors pull back

Bank of America tweaks Marvell stock target after key Analyst Day

Marvell just made a move that changes the AI networking story

Marvell’s deals keep moving deeper into optics

The bigger question is what kind of company Marvell becomes. The Lumentum deal is more than 10 times Marvell’s previous biggest purchase, the $10 billion Inphi buyout in 2021, according to Reuters. Inphi made electro-optics products, according to a Marvell press release.

In February 2026, Marvell completed its purchase of Celestial AI, which it called “a pioneer in optical interconnect technology.” Lumentum goes further, giving Marvell the lasers and the plants that make them.

However, paying in stock makes the buyer’s share price the real price tag. “You take more risk when you do it,” Murphy said. Marvell has more than a year to prove its shares are worth the third it is giving away.

Putin Aide To Represent Moscow At Trilateral Ukraine Peace Talks Next Week

Putin Aide To Represent Moscow At Trilateral Ukraine Peace Talks Next Week

The Russia-Ukraine-US talks are now confirmed, per a Kremlin Tuesday statement, now set to be held in Abu Dhabi from November 10-11. The trilateral talks were intially agreed to late last month following US envoy Steve Witkoff having met with President Putin in St. Petersburg. The White House is seeking a breakthrough in the stalemated, grinding war which is now in its fifth year. However, the talks won’t include heads of state – and it could be a long time before that ever happens, if at all. Also, the venue could be moved if renewed all-out war breaks out over Iran and in the Persian Gulf region.

via AP

It appears the negotiations will begin at the technical and preparatory level, with Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov having on Tuesday announced that Vladimir Medinsky – an aide to Russian President Putin – will serve as Moscow’s chief negotiator for the talks.Likely it will be Witkoff and Jared Kushner as representing Washington mediation at the venue. They have been involved in meeting both sides, traveling between capitals. The Kremlin has over past years indicated that Putin himself would not meet with Ukraine’s Zelensky unless it is to sign an already agreed-to permanent peace deal which is consistent with the goals of the Russian ‘special military operation’.Among key items is that Moscow wants is nothing less than full and permanent political recognization of Crimea and the annexed eastern territories as part of sovereign Russia.

Vladimir Medinsky, via AFP/Getty Images

In the meantime Foreign Policy has hit out at the woeful lack of progress on the part of Witkoff and Kushner, who are not elected officials:Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are unofficial presidential envoys, personally selected by U.S. President Donald Trump to handle critical negotiations over Ukraine, Gaza, and Iran. While it’s safe to say neither was selected after a long and extensive search (Kushner is Trump’s son-in-law and Witkoff is a longtime friend and golfing buddy), let’s be charitable and assume that they have been genuinely trying to reach agreements that would advance U.S. interests. The question is: Why have they accomplished so little?Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was in Atlanta Friday and into the weekend, and while there he addressed the question of finding peace, which has remained elusive.Witkoff on the planned scope of the Abu Dhabi talks…Lavrov told reporters that Russia’s demands and goals for ending the ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine remain completely unchanged. He also at one point lashed out at Washington for continuing policies which serve to make peace more distant.”Fundamental issues are not being resolved. Sanctions remain; all the sanctions from [former President Joe] Biden are echoed by the current administration,” he emphasized.

Johnny Depp no longer rules out a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ return after years away from franchise

Johnny Depp isn’t shutting the door on a return to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.”Pirates of the Caribbean” is one of the most successful franchises in Hollywood history. The first film — “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” — was released in 2003 and ushered in a new era of superstardom for Depp. It also launched the A-list careers of Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom.Four more films were released between 2006 and 2017 with Depp always reprising his role of Captain Jack Sparrow.TOM CRUISE IS REPORTEDLY GOING TO MAKE AN INSANE AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR TOP GUN 3However, the franchise never returned past 2017 following the fallout between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, who he famously and successfully sued for defamation over abuse allegations published in the Washington Post.Depp previously said there wasn’t anything that could convince him to return to the franchise after the fallout. Now, it sounds like he’s changing his tune and is open to reprising his role as Jack Sparrow if the situation is right.”If things are exactly where they need to be with regard to how they are going to top off the ‘Pirates.’ The only involvement I really want to have, truly, is just to send them off on a better note,” Depp told Entertainment Tonight in a video published Monday.SIGN UP FOR THE DAILY OUTKICK NEWSLETTERHe continued, “I’ll go to work with [producer Jerry] Bruckheimer tomorrow for anything, you know. Has-been rocker Bruce Springsteen used his Twitter/X account to endorse far left radical Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate in Michigan.
In recent years, Springsteen has repeatedly used his dwindling influence to campaign for Democrats and push the far left’s ‘resistance’ narrative, even doing a music tour based entirely on his loony politics.
In his endorsement, Springsteen refers to El-Sayed as ‘Dr.’ even though he is not a licensed and practicing physician, and goes on to say that El-Sayed is a ‘fighter for our Constitution.’
Really, Bruce? Really?
See below:

Dr. El-Sayed is a fighter for our American Constitution, he’s a fighter for our American Democracy, and he’s a fighter against the corrupt, lawless, and anti-American leadership currently in the White House. That’s why I’m in his corner 100%.
